anyone can help me?
i have the problem, that if i turn wlan on, it turns off automatically within 5 seconds....
maybe it's a timeout where if you don't connect to a network it turns off the wifi in order to save battery life? if so, probably a registry value to be tweaked somewhere. otherwise, maybe a more serious problem.
Is it when you are connected to your comp with active sync?
theres a setting that disables data connections when connected
in WinMoDevCentre go to Mobile Device settings -> Connection Settings -> Allow Data connections (last checkbox)
weird setting but that fixed it fine for me
I just noticed in my A9, when I connected to a 2.4HGz WiFi Access Point (AP) and have my Bluetooth turn on (doesn't have to have any headphones connected), the WiFi speed is very bad, only goes up to around 2.5Gbps download. If I turn off Bluetooth, then I will get up to my normal speed, over 50Gbps download. This is ONLY affected with 2.4GHz AP and have no affect on 5.0GHz AP. I have spent almost an hour with HTC support via online chat and it goes nowhere. I wonder if this is only on my device of all the A9. Can you guys check on this for me? Thanks!
- To make sure you're connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi AP, goto: Settings -> Wi-Fi -> the 3 dot... -> Advanced -> Wi-Fi frequency band -> Select 2.4 GHz only. After the test, switch back to Automatic
- I use the Speedtest app to measure the speed.
I have the same issue with my HTC One_M8. Factory reset solved it for a while but now it's back, it's very frustrating because I have a smartwatch connected by Bluetooth and have to constantly remember to turn Bluetooth on and off.
Did you find a solution for this?
Cheers
I don't know answer to your problem, but I would love to have just half of your speeds. I would think the processor and drive of even a computer couldn't handle Gbps speeds. But where I'm at in the US we are still at Mbps

Hi,
I have a problem with wifi connection on Honor 8 (FRD-L09C432B399, EMUI 5.0.1) - I have no problem to connect to wifi networks, but wifi is spontaneously shutted down regardless of whether I am connected or not on router/modem. The wifi switch is still on (blue), but all visible networks disappear, the phone disconnects from the connected network, and it takes a few seconds before the phone finds networks again and automatically connects to the known network. I made a factory reset, but without success, rather it seems to me that the situation has worsened and wifi fails nearly every 10 seconds.
Any suggestions how to fix this problem? Thx.

Are you sure, 'Keep wifi off, during sleep' isnt set to 'Always'? As you already have resetted to factory set it shouldnt be. Although please verify.
Yes, it is; also 'Wi-Fi+' is dissabled.
Hi, I tried getting help with this on P30 Pro forum here, but no luck. I'm having problems with mobile hotspot on my Huawei P30 Pro. My notebook can see the hotspot, and can connect to it, but the phone just won't share the internet connection.
Bluetooth is turned on, and bluetooth tethering as well, and I tried both 2.4 and 5 GHz.
I tried USB tethering. Tried apps from the store. Tried addin "DUN" to APN type and always the same thing - notebook can see the hotspot, but internet is not working. Any ideas? The notebook is Asus Rog G751. Three months ago internet over hotspot was working, but since I only use hotspot when travelling, I have no idea what could have gone wrong in the mean time.

You have tried USB tethering as well as Bluetooth tethering. Have you tried the 'Portable WLAN hotspot'?
In the Settings of 'Portable WLAN hotspot', there is a 'Data limit' option. Check it and the device list, please.
Switch Airplane Mode On and Off:
This is a method that usually fixes the error and works for most of the Android Users. All the user needs to do is switch the Airplane Mode On and off. The airplane mode basically resets the Signal and Network adapter to help the connection be restarted again.
To switch the Airplane Mode On and off, all you have to do is pull the notification drawer down, and then look for an Airplane icon, tapping on it will activate it. Wait for 5 seconds, then tap on the Airplane icon again to deactivate it and wait on all the Mobile network to appear again and then turn on the data and the Hotspot of the device.
Change from Dynamic IP to Static IP:
Mobile data has a dynamic IP address, which tends to alter every time you turn it on. So sometimes setting up a static IP address will solve the connection problem. The steps are to change from Dynamic to Static IP:
Step One: Navigate to Settings in the connected device, select Wi-Fi connection and long-press the name of the Hotspot, this will bring up a Menu, this setting can also be found under Modify Network of the Wi-Fi.
Step Two: Change the IP setting from Dynamic to Static IP, and then assign an IP starting with 192.168.x.x (Replace with any number from 1 to 255). Do not change anything else from the settings, press apply and this should fix the issue.
