When i make a video call the other users report that they hear a high pitched sound from me for a few seconds.
I read that when loudspeaker is on and i make a videocall the top mic is used. Have you experienced a similar issue? I believe that when the front camera pops out and then the sound of the motor is sent through the mic next to it.

I don´t know if everyone got this issue but I was recoding a concert on my Captivate the other day and the sound its just distorted like the mic sensitivity is way to high or the recording volume is to high, is there a menu to change the recording mic volume?
I'm the only one with the sentive mic?, no body else has this issue or find this to be and issue?
I have horrible noises when recording video (tested only 720/1080p).
Did some testing and tried unchecking "stereo recording", re-shoot the same clip and voila! No more crackling, popping, hissing and over-amplified sound.
I mean you can hear my feet shuffling for couple of centimeters when i pan around...what the hell is up with this? Plus if there's cars passing by quite far away, they sound like trains over rails...lol
Normal voices seem to be so over-amplified that the sound hisses, pops and crakles when one speaks. It's kind of the same effect as in-call sound if it's too loud (well, more than 50% ear speaker volume): you hear the same cracking...
Is the feature broken and needs to be disabled or did i miss some microphone volume adjustment settings somewhere?
I tested out the microphone in calls and I have to say it is pretty quiet and dull sounding.
Also in videos, everytime the mic turns on you hear a random noise besides the actual sound that is recorded.
Can anyone confirm that?

Yup. I can't speak for the phone call part of it, but I am having the same issue everyone on this page is having, regarding video recording sound...
I suddenly started getting really lousy performance out of my in-call mic when not on speakerphone. Is there an app that can record from the handset mic (not the speakerphone mic) to test its quality and rule out software? All the recording apps I can find use the speakerphone mic.
I have a brand new z flip 3. I noticed when I make a call or when I use the sound recorder, it has a problem in recording or there's static when recording high pitched or high volume voices. However, in normal tone speaking, it's okay. I also tried recording a video, it doesn't have the same problem and records voices perfectly. Also did the Samsung Members diagnostic to check my mics, no problem with the sound either. Any ideas? Has anybody experienced this?
