4.2 has been release
"Introduce our OTA Updater!"
For those with the Chrome issue of freezing I have a fix that another user in another ROM thread accidentally found!
If you download
PH1-OTA-PQ1A.190105.090.zip
and then reboot into recovery (TWRP, be sure to disable pin on phone before hand and backup everything) then flash the above (I wiped everything first but DON'T wipe internal storage) then I did a second wipe of everything but internal storage and then I flashed 4.2 of StatiXOS and then I flashed TWRP, then I rebooted phone and set it up from new and restored everything from Cloud backup and I can confirm that I no longer have the Chrome freezing issue.
You can thank seungbaekm over in the Evolution-X 5.4 thread for this fix as he is the one that accidentally flashed the older PH-1 factory image and discovered Chrome then worked again! This should fix the issue for all the new Android 11 ROM 's out there for us folks that have the Chrome browser locking issues.
I did not even test the new 4.2 ROM on its own to see if it happens to fix the Chrome issue but I doubt that it does since it is not mentioned in the release notes. Also I have no idea if any of the other original factory images will also fix the issue, I only downloaded the one they he said he accidentally flashed and used it.
Hope this helps everyone with this issue as I know how frustrating it has been. Sure, there is the Bromite/Brave/Firefox work around, and I have been using and enjoying Bromite since 4.1 but I like having things working the way they are supposed to work.
Thanks you very much
I will test
Following this great insight about the fix of the Chromium issue, I only flashed mata PQ1A.190105.090 NOVENDOR firmware from this old thread, without wiping anything of my current StatiXOS 4.2 installation, and after booting Brave is working perfectly.
So, it seems the issue was caused not by the ROM system or vendor, but the mata QQ1A.200105.007 firmware.
As a consequence of flashing this old no system nor vendor firmware, my device baseband was downgraded, but mobile data seems to be working just fine. I guess it's possible to test newer firmware available at the referenced thread, like PQ1A.190105.112, QP1A.190711.107 or QP1A.190711.148, to identify the latest firmware free of the Chromium issue.
More good news: now Netflix is working fine, also.
UPDATE: I tried all the these firmwares and Netflix worked fine only with the Pie ones. So, PQ1A.190105.112 is the more recent mata firmware that I can use on my PH-1 with StatiXOS 4.2 in order to keep Chromium browsers and Netflix working.

This is some great news, thank you and SirDigitalKnight for the research! I haven't tried this fix yet, but I'm planning to when I flash this week if I do run into the chrome freeze problem. You mentioned this downgrades the device baseband version. I'm not too familiar with that, you did say it's working fine so far, but do you think that could cause issues in the future?
Just a question, does StatiXOS have slim recents included?

I have no idea if using a.Pie firmware could have side effects in the future. So far, I haven't seen any.
Using the StatiXOS Telegram support group, I shared the information about the different firmwares to the devs, so I think they'll tell us if something can go wrong in the future.

Double Post
Just reporting that I did a clean install - "Fastboot -w" on the latest working firmware (JAN20 FW, FEB20 Vendor iirc) and I'm very impressed.
Plus replaced the screen, battery, and buttons cable and now the phone is "essentially" new. Parts are actually quite cheap.
Chrome is working without issues.
360 Camera is working without issues
Haven't tried sending SMS with VoLTE On yet.
Amazing that we still a maintainer.

Yup, that worked. Thanks mate..
The March 10th update they pushed out through the OTA updater worked perfectly. It is nice to see we still have good support on this great phone.

Thank you for this! And also thanks to @aamadorj for the further investigation!
It's too much of a hassle for me to do this fix right now, and I admit I have adapted to using Bromite and Firefox, but I'll definitely keep this in mind for some other time when I feel more like it... BTW, I did check, and Chrome stil freezes on the latest 4.2 update, no surprise here.
This ROM has been working great for me, very stable, no issues, and the updates are a breeze, especially with the latest OTA updater.

You should be able to flash the older Pie firmware without wiping from what I have read but I have not tried that yet. I might try it with the very latest firmware of Pie, PQ1A.190105.112 and see if it screws anything up without wiping the phone. Anyway I always to a backup of the phone to the cloud and also of Whatsapp before I start messing around just in case I have to wipe and so far all my restores have worked perfectly, but yes it is a pain to have to setup wifi's and add back in BT devices and setup security and any double authentication apps you use. Getting used to it now though.

Flashing the contents of the attached files using fastboot should make your device to use last firmware for Android Pie, without losing your current ROM installation.

OK, here is my update... Noting your comment in the other post about the downgraded baseband, I decided to exclude the modem from flashing. Flashed everything else from PQ1A.190105.112-NOVENDOR via fastboot, rebooted, and... Chrome froze again. Ugh... :\ OK. I went back to fastboot and flashed the modem - this time after the reboot the problem was fixed.
So, I'd say it's safe to conclude that the modem (baseband) is the actual component that was screwing up the Chromium-based browsers. Go figure...
This ROM is great on the PH-1. At the moment I can't get the LED to blink when notifications arrive. The setting is toggled on.
I've installed magisk, nanodroid and microg (not tried that sort of thing before!). Could that have anything to do with it?

Even with stock rom LED is not blink if you're using stock messages, try Textra and see if it works for you.

Hey guys,
So here is a straight from source build of Android L, 5.0. I have not done anything beside build it from source and flash it. I have not done extensive testing on it.
So anyways, here is the link:
http://d-h.st/zi0
I have not included gapps or anything else. They will be coming soon. This build is primarily to play around with. I would not consider this a daily driver.
Issues:
Probably a ton, seeing as I have only checked if it boots.
I am not responsible for any issues this may cause or anything else that may happen to your tablet as a result of this.
I also have a ton of schoolwork and other things that keep popping up, so my support may be iffy. Please bear with me or go back to 4.4.4.
Here is a screenshot for proof:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/lnmhdapeemskggi/1743495_10153594576754572_4551962379003400239_n.jpg?dl=0
Future Plans for this Rom:
GApps are not yet possible on Lollipop as far as I can work out, due to the fact that baksmali and smali do not appear to play nicely with ART odex files. I will be rebuild the rom to be odexed and then including a gapps package.

Hmm..let me know if you still have issues, because I was able to sideload on my device
Awesome!!
When first booted you need to erase it because it is encrypted. But after that it works (for now) like a charm. Wifi working, sound working.
The only problem so far is that after I installed the Play Store it didn't want to open but the Amazon app store works fine.

I am missing alot of the google stuff, which is probably why none of that works
That will come shortly, I just need to redo a lot of my vendor files and such to get gapps to be built in.
It worked even though it said no OS
first boot takes awhile but it works!
Confirmed it works.
Sideloading gapps for cyanogenmod 11 and hoping they auto update does not work. Worth a shot though. Time to reflash.
Woah, thanks a lot
Btw, how do I sideload gapps? (especially play store)
Since I think it won't be just installing apk, isn't it?
Working great! I think performance is even better than kitkat
Wi-Fi also working (maybe bluetooth, nfc and gps too)

Works great, now waiting for gapps
thanks
Gapps mostly work fine if you edit updater.script
I've only had issue with the keyboard crashing so I'd suggest removing it from the gapps package before flashing.
Woah
I can't wait for the final version, this one, using 4.4.4 binaries, is crazy smooth. Google outdid theirselves on the optimization department.
Awesome work, think im gonna givebthis a try atbwork tomorrow.

So far, everything seems to be working. Have to check camera yet though.
I cant seem to get much else to go with it, but I will share my findings.
I can get TWRP to install, but then I get a bootloop.
If you use the Nexus Root Toolkit v 1.9.3 and "Root" with custom recovery checked. It freezes after trying to temporarily boot the modified boot image.
Hard reset the tablet and boot normally. The toolkit should reboot your tablet back into the bootloader and into TWRP, but this is only good for one boot.
If you mount /system and run a fix permissions, then it stays installed, but never gets past the boot screen.
It boots far enough to get into ADB.
Not sure what to try next though...
I was thinking if we could get a flashable zip without the stock recovery, then we may be able to keep TWRP, but I am not familiarwith building the flashable zips.
Wait, So how do you flash the google play services after you lose TWRP?! I don't understand..
If the following table is correct then I have a GT-N8013. I'm running KitKat 4.4.2 on it: (N8010XXUDNE4_N8010BTUDNF1_BTU_N8013.tar.md5).

I've just picked up a used 10.1 (first edition) and am hoping to get it onto 5.1.1 or 6.01.
I see a custom CM ROM from Cyanogen, that states it's 6.0 official, but when I go to the site the release is really old for the 8013, and I'm not sure if it's been grouped in with the more recent beta group that is linked in the thread or if it's not.
I also see an older Cyanogen thread for 12, but that's pre 6.0 and appears to be somewhat abandoned.
My Note 3 is on phronesis 6.0.1, and I would like to get the Note 10.1 to as close to that as possible, without dealing with any major bugs.
Thank you for your assistance.
Some progress.
I managed to update mine to Marshmallow 6.0.1 (cm-13.0-20160523-UNOFFICIAL-n8013.zip) via CWM v6.0.3.6 but Google Apps keeps crashing.
I've tried both open_gapps-arm-6.0-nano-20160721.zip (Open GApps) and gapps-600-base-20151107-1-signed.zip. Both take hours to install and just keep crashing whenever you try to do anything.
Anyone have any luck getting cm-13.0-20160523-UNOFFICIAL-n8013.zip / and GApps.zip working?

I had it crashing initially too, with CM-13.
I reinstalled the ROM, root, twrp, everything. I also made sure to install the latest "Stock" Gapps, before rebooting once the ROM was in place. Since then I have not had any issues.
I did however have some issues using the nano package. Hope that helps.
Still no joy
I still can't get CM-13 to work. I use CWM. I made sure I was using the latest CWM 6.0.4.6.
I booted into CWM, factory reset and cleared cache. Flashed cm-13.0-20160523-UNOFFICIAL-n8013.zip.
I then factory reset and cleared cache again and flashed gapps-600-base-20151107-1-signed.zip.
I then factory reset and cleared cache again and rebooted.
No joy.
What actual gApps and CM-13 did you use? Maybe I need to use the same version of TWRP as you used?
I'm stumped.

I used the ARM 6.0 Stock version for CM 13. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps#Downloads
I ended up swapping to the 2014 model because I got a good deal on a Verizon version (which is locked but oh well), so I don't recall the TWRP that I ran. It sounds like that sometimes gives people issues.
I do recall that using the nano version of gapps was not working for me. Could be a coincidence, but I had constant crashes when I tried using it.
This is the thread I used to grab the ROM and TWRP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10-1/development/rom-lollipop-t3269375
It helps to read the installation notes properly
The problem(s) I was having were resolved by using twrp-2.8.7.0-gt-n8013 instead of N8013-CWM-Touch-6.04.6. I also used open_gapps-arm-6.0-stock-20160803 instead of nano but I really think it was TWRP that made everything work.
I'm now running cm-13.0-20160523-UNOFFICIAL-n8013 without any problems.
I consider this thread closed.

How did you get KitKat on n8013. It was never released and no one successfully flashed 4.4 n8010 to n8013. Odin keeps giving an error. Please I've been trying for years now since it's been 2 years since update was released and doesn't look like it'll ever release (**** yoi Samsung with your update **** and regions)
Anyone have any luck? I've had this tablet since 2013 and I stopped using it because it has always been such a laggy sluggish experience. I thought I would try putting an AOSP ROM on it to see if that helped. Everything is so old for this device that it's nearly impossible to find the old files, ROMs, recoverys, etc. I can't even get TWRP or CWM to work on it. Maybe it's not worth the trouble anymore.

Well official only kitkat if you are international (Samsung decided not to release a lot of device updates in the us for kit kat including the s3, galaxy light, and this one). However I think you can get CM 13.1, idk about anything more recent but there is a (slightly) active community for it still left. Its a shame that this flagship tablet was neglected. I hope it doesn't happen with future Samsung ones but I've avoided buying any. I still use mine on jellybean for basic internet browsing and games

Not sure if you're still looking but I just installed Android Nougat v7.1.2 using the instructions provided here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2185119
I have a N8010 that topped out at 4.1.2. I flashed to a N8013 kernel/rom about 2 years ago which maxed out at 4.2.2 . I just recently found that link to the LineageOS build (Formerly Cyanogenmod) when I was contemplating buying a new tablet. The tablet was getting a bit sluggish so I decided to go ahead and blast it out and see what happened. I was VERY pleasantly surprised! Had some issues getting the Recovery flashed but once I did, it was pretty smooth from there. I had backed up all the apps so once I got it booted and restored all the apps, I was surprised how responsive it is. Oh, and you can say goodbye to all those SD card issues that the Note 10.1 had since this version of Android integrates the external SD with the internal SD so everything gets installed on the external card. No need for apps like folder mount, etc.
I highly recommend it. The only issue is that you lose the integrated S-Pen functionality but you can reinstall some of those apps from the play store and bring back a lot of those features. Some 3rd party apps actually work better.
Good luck!
7.1.2 on GT-N80013
I am currently running an unoffical build I picked up here on xda it is an unofficial Lineage OS build. I haven't currently found any bugs... camera works, bluetooth works, wifi works... at least for me. The build number is 14.1-20170810-unnofficial-n8013

I'm interested as well I'm still running original os. Also wondering if the rom update works well on these tablets since they are older. As Android matures the os gets bigger which can impact performance on older CPUs.

Tablet is stable, everything works, great battery life.
All devices work gps, etc...
The s-pen will not work like it did stock but there are apps you can get that seem to work better
Squid and Sketch for drawing....squid seems cool if you write with stylus

This is a list of Nougat ROMs for this device and it's clones.
The list will be in the following format:
ROM : Version : Device : Tested/Untested
LineageOS : 14.1 : MMXC5 / E481 : Untested
Resurrection Remix : 5.8.4 : MMXC5 / E481 : Tested
crDROID : v3.5 : MMXC5 / E481 : Tested
AOSGPX : 7.1.2 : MMXC5 / E481 : Untested
There are also ROMs for the Elephone P8000, however the first time I tried one I got into a bootloop. It could just have been that I didn't wipe my caches, or it could have been a fault in the ROM; nonetheless I haven't tried any others from that device.
I couldn't find any for other devices, let me know if you see others.
Here is the factory firmware, as according to this post (Direct Download).
Also, the stock recovery: Original Post | Direct Download.
Im currently running crDroid and I couldn't be happier. Runs far better than the original firmware and the useless marshmallow update.

Battery gets drained pretty fast compared to lollipop, but then again I used lollipop with xposed, greenify and amplify.

Happy to hear only minor bugs. I'm waiting on black Friday SD card to ship and then I'll be able to test too.
On lollipop all I needed to use was power nap to kill unwanted wake locks. I'll definitely try to get it to work because batter life is important to me. Only reason I'm upgrading is because of older exploits that stock didn't get updates for. Other than that stock with xposed is extremely stable for me.(30-60 days between reboots)
Do you know if crDroid is using stock lollipop kernel or is it a ported kernel? That would effect battery life greatly I suppose.
review of roms
Review time. Installed and tested these roms by wiping dalvik cache, system, data, cache and internal storage. Flashed ROM then gapps then "front camera flash" patch lastly flashed sim patch. Afterwards I wiped cache and dalvik cache again before rebooting. Once I had access to settings I disabled display live/night mode/blue filter for all ROMs.
All the roms tested used about 1GB of ram (and stock ROM being around <600MB.).
Resurrection Remix : 5.8.4 : Looks to me a part of this rom was made by another group of people that were not given credit.. Default browser loads the homepage of the other group. The system FM radio app was asking for root permission(denied it). Also it had email services running before I added any accounts can't remember this being the norm. Other than that this ROM ran the best in terms of speed and ui. Uninstalled because of security concerns.
LineageOS : 14.1 : This ROM has about the same speed as resurrection which is good but the ui stuttered/not smooth. Uninstalled because ported by same user as resurrection.
crDROID : v3.5 : This one ran the worse. It was slow and stuttered throughout the ui. Missed some customizations that Resurrection had so not sure why any one would want to use this instead.
AOSGPX : Didn't bother installing because last I heard they copied and pasted code from crDRoid.
At the end of the day I reverted back to stock because of security concerns. As well as having more ram available for apps. If I had more than one phone phone I would wireshark/test connections of the ROMs to confirm but I do not have. Hopfully this helps someone.

Just wondering with the ROM testing, did you disable the LiveDisplay nonsense? It drops my FPS to about 10, and is enabled by default.
Sorry, didn't read your whole post. I didn't find UI stuttering unless I enabled weird kernel stuff, or had L Speed installed.
Does anyone happen to know if any of these ROMs fix the problem that the official MM caused which was that all camera apps created a very dark image and took extremely dark photos?

sucktastic battery life (not like the original firmware was good to begin with) no compass (gmaps will point north regardless of your orientation) as soon as you install the google app (okay google!) the device will run a bit slower.

SP flash tool, scatter file and the original firmware (not a flashable zip). It's all in the original BLOX thread, buried somewhere there. Flash TWRP recovery using adb fastboot and flash super su with twrp recovery for root access.

Wow, thorough, thanks. Don't know what half those things are but I'll look them up. I guess there's no way to go straight back to Lollipop without flashing a stock ROM. I mean, by rooting it now maybe and then downgrading or something?

You could flash a lollipop twrp backup, if anyone uploaded one or if you made one before. But if you don't have it, only way is by sp flash tool and original firmware (which is not a recovery flashable zip).
Been using the Crdroid rom for a few weeks now. Havn't had any lag or extreme battery issues. Im interested in trying the resurrection remix rom since it was tested to be the fastest, tho them security issues are kinda holding me back. One thing im lookin for is front camera flash and back aswell. on Crdroid u cannot toggle it in the camera app, tho the flash works.

What are these security issues people are mentioning? Isn't a ROM a ROM? I don't get it.
Also, if crDroid works fine, you could just try any other camera app. There are several that are quite good. I wish there were videos of crDroid.

I mean with what's going on with Kaspersky being investigated for allowing certain trogens to work undetected and Kaspersky is own by Russians and since when does fm radio need root access.
Just a bit sketchy you know... But it could be just over-thinking it.

But the thing is you don't know what else has been tampered with.
As we all know there is a point during setup where you put in your google account and it asks to restore from a phone or start fresh. When I got to that part, there were no backups to restore from. I confirmed that my Essential Phone and my Pixel XL backup were still present on my drive. Then after the setup was complete, I noticed that there wasn't Android 8.1 on the Premium, despite having the April security update. Being impatient, I looked it up and I saw that 8.1 was available and out for OTA. Since I don't have a carrier-locked device, theoretically I could receive all updates as they roll out from Sony. I thought since my backups were from an 8.1 device, they were incompatible to downgrade to 8.0. Still being impatient, I looked over XDA and found that Unlocking the bootloader and loading a custom ROM would be fine, but that's where I ran into issues.
Half of the threads that supported G8412 (Dual Sim) were either edited to "working" or out-of-date or closed by a moderator (I downloaded the Turbo mod before it was deleted, and I only discovered it was deleted when I logged on to thank him).
TL;DR:
-Unlocked my bootloader, which turned out to be a terrible mistake on my part
-Cant seem to find a stable ROM (the flash-and-forget kind) that supports my model
-Apparently now the camera is broken and unusable on most ROMs?
-Can't migrate any of my data due to a (theoretical) Android 8.1/8.0 clash
Anything I am missing on the forum would be appreciated. I've looked at Storm's thread (closed), Turbo's thread (closed), Snappatch (DRM Fix required). It seems like a lot of ROMs that are still active require the DRM fix by Storm except for the Carbon ROM. So, any suggestions as to what to do going forward? Is there something I am missing?
(Edit: upon reading, this looked more like a blog post so I cut it down)
I'm personally using the official CarbonROM 8.1 on my G8142. Been running it for a few weeks and it's pretty stable.

Does the CarbonROM require any upkeep? I see it says "Weeklys" in it's title, so for the uneducated, does that mean it is updated Weekly with new features/fixes?

I did get the firmware that is .145, and I do have a DRM fix currently, however I do not remember where I got it from. I wish Turbo the best of luck in bringing back his work and collab with that other guy.
Update
After a bit of research, I did find that getting the 8.1 Carbon Rom with the AOSP upgrade below would be best. As seems like the current trend where some users report successes and others report failures and there really isn't an "in-between" of a particular combination, this one seems to have the most credibility as of May 8. Carbon Rom's thread hasn't been active for about a month, however and the author behind the Snappatch upgrades seems to have left XDA..
Any other users that have Android 8.1 have anything else to say/suggest?

Make sure you flash the AOSP userdata image. Can obtain it by compiling from source or grabbing it from one of the AOSP roms compiled from source. Just flash it in fastboot and then flash the rom in TWRP. Only need to flash userdata once.
Originally, this was thread was centered on the LineageOS 17 GSI by AndyYan, however, CodeF86 has so very generously made a working GSI for the Moto G6 which you can try out now!
Unlike AndyYan's generic GSI, for this you do NOT need to flash johnaltg1's LineageOS 16 image (if you do, this GSI will NOT boot). It is recommended you use stock Pie firmware. Oreo firmware has not been tested and may result in bugs.
Download here—Compiled Feb 22nd, w/ working LTE!
See CodyF86's thread post
Some notes:
Unlike the generic GSI, calling works.
Also unlike the GSI, the colors don't invert randomly.
Magisk DOES NOT work at the moment, neither phhuson's nor regular Magisk. Flashing it will cause a bootloop.
Bluetooth audio has been reported to not work
As with many Android 10 GSIs/ROMs, Chrome freezes or crashes because GApps packages currently are missing the new Trichrome WebView implementation which replaces Chrome as the default WebView. This being worked on (see OpenGApps wiki and issue #773 on their GitHub.) For now, use another browser (like LineageOS's default browser) if you install GApps. —As soon as Trichrome is added onto the ARM package just as it has for ARM64, Chrome should be stable.
For now, that's all I can think of. However, if you notice any other bugs or caveats, let me know so I can add it to the list.
This is a GSI based on phhuson's prereleased GSI work and also based on the prereleased LineageOS 17. This is a pre-release so please be careful and don't use this as a daily driver. Things may break randomly, whoops, so please be patient! If you see any bugs, report them here.
Extremely huge shoutout to CodyF86 for this GSI!
The developer of this ROM has moved on to another phone and the community now has a full fledged 64-bit ROM which has much better support for things.

Your screen may change colors and look weird, when this happens, go to Settings > Display > LiveDisplay> Color mode and change it to the value under the value selected on the menu and then back to the original one and that should fix it
If you flash GApps before first boot, follow AndyYan's suggestions as the Setup Wizard is broken for some reason on most GApps packages.

Just to reiterate, you are stipulating that this pre-release build doesn't permit me to make an outgoing phone call (nor possibly receive any) unless connected to a WiFi network? Please pardon my not-so-subtle-sarcasm ... but, why would anyone release this with a bug (or limitation) which inhibits the core functionality of the device? I could see a million other issues being permissible but not being able to make normal phone calls (or possibly even receive them) doesn't warrant any kind of release for testing. That being said, I'd be happy to help if possible and eagerly await a usable version of Android 10 to put on my Moto G6 which I only got a month ago (happily unlocked at a great price on Amazon). However, it is (currently) my main phone for making calls.

It is pre-release so not all the bugs are ironed out, I should have added that this should not be used on your daily driver. But yes, it's dumb to use a phone that can't make calls without WiFi. Just as a note, you can make and receive calls however if you're not using WiFi, the caller can't hear you. I have filed a bug upstream with phhusson as this affects every GSI built using his work (Pixel Experience, Lineage and AOSP which I've tested). I hope this gets fixed soon so stay tuned to that GitHub issue

First off, are you unzipping the file? The standalone uncompressed file is unflashable. It needs to be decompressed from it's .gz (or whatever it was compressed to) form. If you have, have you tried using fastboot flash system <lineage file name> from a PC?

Just wanted to jump in here and say I'm seeing same bug on xt1925-6 with callers not able to hear me on any 10 gsi's and speakerphone does not work at all. Phh aosp 10 build 209 with stock pie 55-37-7-2 boot vendor boots fine, other gsi's will only boot using the Ali lineage full ROM boot- vendor but call audio is broken as well. Thanks for submitting the bug report, hopefully it will get fixed in future builds.
Hello friends,
It's been a while since i've posted on XDA. I was the person who originally rooted the g6 play. I managed to build a GSI image of 17.1 with the latest code as of today if anyone is interested I can upload it to gdrive or something, didn't feel like making a new thread.
It boots, mobile calls work, dark mode works (which is amazing), it all seems to work.
Getting it to compile was just short of a miracle...lol.
Only bad thing is I cannot get it to boot with any version of magisk even the version specifically for phh / Android 10, but with just the stock kernel with the ,verify removed it boots fine.

It seems it only connects at 3g although it lists a different apn server on lineage, I may be able to fix that, and I couldnt get the sd card to format as anything but adaptive storage, but everything works more or less. going to recompile in a week its still pretty early in development stage of lineage.

May have a fix for LTE compiling it now, using the stock apn file with the adjusted mcc mnc numbers.
If I could get root I could get it for sure, but I can't get it to boot with a magisk flashed kernel, even the android 10 special version of magisk.
I got LTE but now mobile network stays disconnected although there is an LTE connection. It's an apn issue will work on it. if I get it working will make a thread...not sure why magisk won't work with my builds / kernel though yet.

I've noticed that restarting always restarts to the bootloader. I don't know if it's just me but that's weird

It's on his GitHub
The kernel is actually just the stock kernel from the latest firmware with the ',verity' flag hexedited out to disable encryption. (You also need to change the fstab that is in all the guides ever made including my original one), but I'm working on building the kernel and making it work...but I got LTE to woooooork with some changes to the stock apn file lineage provides ! lol.
Only thing now is that it thinks my external sd card is corrupted and wont format right unless i set it to adaptive storage, so make a backup of your external sd card for now. Going to try using TWRP to format it with a couple different file systems.
Here she is boys.
Lineage-17.1-02.22.20-treble-arm-system
Still working on getting it to boost with magisk not sure why it won't when it was fine in Pie.
Still playing with the apn file the apn its using says sprint ehrpd but not sure what makes it pick which apns to show on the screen, but the apn is set to x.boost.ispsn which makes LTE work. I'll clean it up soon.
(All of this is assuming you're on Boost / Sprint)
