get stuck on splash screen with the KitKiss logo without being able to use the tablet - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Asus Transformer TF 101… Was lying for a few years in the drawer.
Have decide to start using it for my daughter.
Had KatKiss rom 5.1 installed and was working fine.
Tried to upgrade to KatKiss 6.0.1 when troubles started.
Upgrade went OK but when was looking for the Google Play app (and service) and tried to install it, something went wrong…
At the moment, after spending a few hours with "POWER + VOLUME DOWN" and / or "POWER + VOLUME UP" I get stuck on splash screen with the KitKiss logo (the dog with the 4 balls) unable to do anything (trying to turn off, it starts automatically – the only way I can get it off is by letting the battery to runout) – Any advise would be appreciated !!!

I just got mine going again and had the same issue. I have re-flashed the latest ROM and the SU that was still on the system. GAPS is working but I am going to try to get something else on there like MicroG.
So re-flash it and see how it goes.

i cannot get into recovery.
Did you do it via ADX and ADB?

Motorola XT5 Not Booting <<HELP>>

I had flashed my Motorola XT5 (Z71 variant) to CM 7.0.3 and installed CWM Recovery 2.5.1.3. Everything was going smoothly since 17-Oct-11. I used update-CM-7.0.3-Z71-signed.zip to updated using ROM Manager 4.5.0.1
I installed a few apps from the Market yesterday & they were working fine. Total apps installed = 128. I switched off the phone yesterday night.
This morning, when I switched it on, the Motorola Logo appeared followed by the CM7 Splash Screen (for a little while only). Then the screen went blank (slight glow in the background) and remained like that for several minutes. No buttons working incl. Power. Had to reset the phone by removing the battery.
Tried to boot into recovery by holding 'Camera+Vol Up+Power' buttons. Motorola Logo appears with "Enter recovery" written across on top. remains in this screen for several minutes. Had to again reset by removing battery.
Please Help! I can't seem to figure out what to do. I have a fairly good tech skills. Will follow steps if you're kind enough to guide me. Please.
Enter fastboot
Use it to install the custom recovery.
What is the key sequence to get into Fastboot on Motorola Xt502?
What should I do once I get into Fastboot?
Please guide!
TIA
It's
endcall vol down power
But you need some tools to install recovery.

[Q] Nexus s 4g major problems

I have the nexus s 4g flashed to boost mobile. it has ran great for over a year now. i have flashed many roms and kernals to it and it has worked like a charm with only the occational hickup. but a few weeks ago when i would power it down and change may battery it would start to get stuck on the google screen. i could pull the battery a few times and it would eventually take off and work fine for a few day and then do it again. this last time it done it i cant get it to go past the google screen for nothing. i can get into the fast boot mode and also into clockworkmod touch recovery but when i go into flash zip from sd it say error loading sd, when i plug it into my computer it conects when in fastboot but i cannot access my sd memory at all. i tried the pdanet but it wont work due to no access to the sd. i downloaded the program wugs nexus tool kit and tried to flash stock and unroot with option bootloop / soft-brick in my boot loader. the program seems like it is working, it takes control of my phone restarts bootloader a few times then says restarting your now stock phone, but my phone just sits in bootloader. i have tried to manually reboot system and it just goes to the google screen and stops. when i power on my phone the google logo comes up, flashes away for a split second then pops back up with the leds at the bottom of my phone on this time but thats all i can get. please help i dont know what to try next. let me know if any of you have had this problem before and what you did to get it fixed. Please help i miss my Nexus...

[HELP] Shield Tablet: did a full wipe and it doenst boot anymore

good day,
i have a Nvidia Shield Tablet, non rooted, not unlocked, stock ROM, updated via OTA only and its included in the RMA.
so i was cleaning a bunch of files first then i did a factory reset on the tablet but after rebooting after the Nvidia logo, it just got stuck on a blank screen.
how can i go about this? i wanted to give this to my child once i got the new tablet.
if any kind sir can point me to do a recovery OS and its rom file that would be very helpful.
thank you
Did you already receive the replacement? If you did and you used it already, you are hooped. Your old one has been deactivated
Just force reboot the tablet with the Power button, and you will be fine. But why would you give your child a tablet that could possibly explode??

Note 10.1 GT-N8000 Boot Loop and Can't access Recovery Mode. Please Help

Hey all,
I was hoping that someone here could please offer some advice that I'm having with my tablet. Using the Note 10.1 GT-N8000
So at the weekend I had an issue where the tablet just kept freezing on me, screen wouldn't time out, clock wouldn't update etc. So after several reboots I figured the only thing for it would be to wipe it and start again. So after getting to recovery mode I wipe the cache and then eventually did the full wipe thing. Booted up after that as expected like brand new so I did the whole reinstalling my apps and what not thinking everything was a-ok. So I came back to it a lil later and it's off (so i think the batts just died on me) plug it in and put it on charge and boot up and it won't get past the 'Galaxy Note 10.1' screen and just cycles in a constant loop. I tried to then go to recovery mode again and whilst the holding up and power gets me to the screen I would first see the android logo with the energy belly (no menu options appear) and it would instantly switch to an android logo on it's back with a red exclamation mark icon atop it, before returning to the boot loop. I've tried to get into Odin mode which i can successfully do.
I've looked at some threads here about similar issues but tbh with some terminology used I'm a bit unfamiliar with so was lost on them quite easy, my knowledge on these issues being rather basic.
If anyone could offer any assistance I would be most grateful
Thanks
Flash stock rom from sammobile viaOdin.

TF300T rebooting... Help!

Hi everyone.
I have a ASUS TF300T for over 10 years now. It is an awesome tablet and the last 4 years it has been my daughter's playing buddy. Around 6 years ago, as the performance of the tablet was horrible, I started to inform my self of what I could do to have a usable tablet again and that was when I found out about custom roms. So I did my research, unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP bootloader and flash Timduru's ROM to it. It worked like a charm. Great performance and usability for the almost dead (thanks to ASUS) TF300T. Around the time Timduru's last ROM for this tablet was released, was also the last time I upgraded the TWRP to the latest version which I don't remember its version. Now to my problem... Last week my wife told me she couldn't get the tablet to work. As I looked at it, what I saw was the ASUS logo (with the device is unlocked at the top left corner) and then the Timduru's logo comes up and hangs, after a while it reboots to the ASUS logo again and just does everything the same over and over again non stop, can't even shutdown the device. If I hooked the usb cable to a PC it does the same but after 6 reboots the device shuts down. Then I tried to enter recovery so, volume down and power it on, the menu comes up as normal but now I tried to enter TWRP. Splash screen appears and reboots to the ASUS logo again. Then Linux pinguins show up at the top left corner and enters again to the TWRP splash screen and reboots. Now that's where I'm stuck at. Can't do anything. Volume down and power up don't do anything either, it always goes straight to TWRP recovery and reboots again. In the PC the Android device shows up until the tablet restarts again. Also tried adb but it always stalls or gives some strange info until the tablet restarts again. So my question is... I anyone able to help me restore this back to funcionality? My daughter would really appreciate your help guys! Thanks!

Hi there, I'm sorry for my late replay, because I'm not often been looking up here. Here is my advice:
The only way to get out of the loop you should do a "Buster99" to get back on Stock Rom Jelly Been 4.2.2. After that you'll be able to install the CR again. Therefore you should look up all my posts within this thread over the years. There you'll also find the right links leading to Buster99. Don't forget you need "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" to do a Buster99.
All the best and good luck, ebonit
PS: Here is the link to the Buster99 solution: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44244313&postcount=12
