Disable GPS Backgroung Limits Android 7.1 X86 - General Questions and Answers

Hi all
Thanks in advance for the help you will give me.
I am working on a project of my own and need to use many apps that require location access. I use version 7.1 of Android installed on Oracle VirtualBox.
At the moment I noticed that after about 26 apps requiring location access, forced to be active, the system stops sharing the location with other apps. I am not able to figure out how to get around this block, also because there is little information about the problem!
Does anyone have any info on how to get around the block?
Thanks all

Yes, you're right. Multiuser support is what you're talking about, and it is available from android version 4.2.2 and above. It is enabled on tablets by default. For phones, you would need to flash custom ROMs that have multiuser support. If you're not on 4.2.2+, then you could try the SwitchMe app on the Playstore instead (requires root).

Since I do not know much about your device, you should probably ask this question here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2100
You're bound to get a better answer that way!
P.S. When you ask in that forum, avoid using words like 'best rom' or 'stable rom'.

[Q] Android after recovery and Google Navigation issues

Hi guys,
I hope you and your smartphones are doing well.
I use CM. I have done a backup using ClockworkMod 6.0.5.1
Initially I have messed up my phone by attempting to encrypt it so I have done a complete recovery to a non CM system then again to the CM backup I have taken few months back.
No CM firmware upgrades have been done.
Since the recovery my phone works without problems except Google Navigation.
The arrow stays always pointing to one direction and it jumps after every ~20sec to weird locations somewhere around the route, but it is completely inaccurate - basically useless.
Location settings are set to High accuracy.
Before the recovery it was running damn well, no issues whatsoever.
Have you come across a similar problem?
Do I need to completely remove Google apps and redo it. I think I have already re-installed Google Maps and Navigation without any improvement.
Please advise.
Many thanks.
Sir,
Please give us more details about your device.
Thanks

Hi again,
It is Motorola XT1039 (Moto 4G)
Android 4.4.4
CyanogenMod: 11-20141024-nightly-peregrine
Kernel: 3.4.42-gc89980d
SELinux enforcing
Please let me know if there is any other info you need.
Best regards,
Thanks.
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers from the owners/experts.
Stand by
Anyone?
Cheers
It looks it is not just the Google Navigation.
I have installed some off-line navigation and it is also useless with the arrow jumping every minute or longer.
I think it is a system wide issue then,

Do I have Lemon or Marshmallow? Device says 6.0.1

I'm confused. In About Phone my device says it's 6.0.1. Google tells me this is marshmallow but if I check it with an app such as CPU-Z it says my device is Lemon. Whats going on here?
I try to follow videos about features of 6.0.1 marshmallow and my device doesn't seem to have those features. Which one do I have and why is this not straight forward?
Edit: The phone manufacturer does claim it's 6.0.1 Marshmallow https://www.zteusa.com/jasperlte - So why don't I have Marshmallow features?
Could I have an illegal black market version of the phone?
Thank you.

I'd be happy to but I have no idea how. Edit: I'll work on it and get back to ya asap.
I managed to get in in Google Photos. Here is a link to the file. I have no idea if this is the right way to get the info to show here. I've never used this feature.
(Old links removed by OP)
Edit: I just checked this with another browser not signed to google. It appears you guys cannot see these files.. I'll have to figure out another way to post them.
Try This: https://ibb.co/efk0N5 - About Phone
https://ibb.co/cBVd9k - CPU-Z
So, which is it.. Lemon, Lollipop or Marshmallow - and why?

You've marshmallow sir, go to CPU-Z and tap system info. You'll see your android version. Btw, board shows lemon doesn't mean you've got lollipop.

O.k.. I have Marshmallow - then why don't I have the same Marshmallow functionality I see on 6.01 feature videos? For instance, I cannot hold down my system icon to access a system ui tweak settings page. It and other 6.0.1 features simply don't exist in my device - why? Shouldn't all stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating systems be identical?
I can see perhaps an exception if my device was missing a specific hardware required to make the application work but that's not the case with something as simple as UI tweak settings. I feel like i'm cheated out of functionality you know.

Eh, most of the OEMs modify the stock android. That's where yours, guess.

Thank you for your time and answers. If I could find a way to root the phone, i'd try to flash a version that gives me back all the stuff the OEM cut out. It's sad they work this way. I can get a copy of any Windows operating system and I'll always know it has full functionality no matter who installs it. Android should be the same way or don't claim it's really Marshmallow if it's a scaled down version. Not fair.
Again, My Thanks, sachin.

Setting up Android on a smart projector

Hi, I got myself a smart projector running on Android. Unfortunetely the deveopers installed a really old version and it seems there is no way to update them. When trying to add an account to the system or let alone update the system tells me that it can not communicate with the google servers. So, I am planning to install a new Android version on the smart projector.
Can anyone point me towards a good resource (on the net) that tells me what information I need to have, which files from the current installation I need to keep (i.e. drivers) before installing whoch ROM?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Sounds familiar - having the same problem: My Philips Picopix 4935 is a splendid device but its Android 4 isn't much fun (especially with newer audio/video-formats).
What model do you have?

Is there Android higher Android ROMs on Samsung Galaxy Young S6310?

That's my question basically.... I REALLY want a newer android than Lollipop (the highest android mod I found here). Is there? I found this webpage https://tweakdroid.com/lineage/samsung-galaxy-young-gt-s6310-royss/ that says it's possible, but they don't have the ROM available, so I'm skeptical. I really want a ROM like that to exist because I want to move back to my old phone, as I'm addicted to my current one, but I still want to be able to use WhatsApp and Google Maps.
Thanks for reading, and any help would be greatly appreciated!

The newest android version u can install is 4.4.4 kitkat, the lollipop download links are broken but i think there is a mirror avalible, tweakdroid is the fakest android rom site ever, they say u can install it (which u cant since of it low storage and ram amount) and they dont even give a download link.
This is so fake that when you copy the download link it shows
