I just installed KWGT in my poco x3 and set up 2 widgets.
Now as soon as i clear my recent apps or lock the phone, KWGT app kinda loses all it's power and it fails to refresh the clock widget I've made using it.
I'm on miui global 12.0.7
Things I've tried are
- auto start access to kwgt
- increased refresh rate in kwgt
- changed battery saver for kwgt to unrestricted
- turn of miui optimization in developer settings
None of this helped. Every time i open the app, it gets access and starts updating until i clear all recents again.
Any solution for this?

it's happened quite a few times now with various weather/clock widgets (Simi Clock, Beweather, Beautiful Widgets Clock Weather) that they show a different time than what Android shows in the status bar.
Just now, the BeWeather weather clock widget has gotten stuck at 18.38. I can fix this with a reboot but it's annoying and I don't want to have to keep rebooting.
Any ideas?
hey there !
it sounds like you've either supercharced your phone or check the option of "lock homescreen in memroy".
the first one is a script that you can run and makes you save the home screen as-is.
either way there's an option to disable it to stop the "supercharge" nor uncheck the option on rom settings.
I have downloaded this from the google play store but it's not updating the weather at all. The clock is fine. Just wondering if anyone has this and had any issues?
I've slected autostart for it under security and also removed it and reinstalled but it doesnt make a differnce. To refresh weather I have to click into the app even though I have set it to refresh when it wakes and also every 3 hours. But it never does
I have this problem with beautiful widgets.
Some minutes ago I deleted my location settings inside the app and added my location again.
Now it looks like it is working.
Maybe you can try this.
But I'm not sure if this works because sometime I also have this problem with zooper widget.
Since I updated my Honor 8 on Oreo (C432) some Widgets don't update anymore.
Workarounds I tried yet:
Turn of automatic managing of the apps
Nova Launcher: Activate "restart widgets on resume" option in labotorium
Ignore Batery optimation for those apps
What works (workaround)
Switch screen orientation on home screen (Nova launcher)
Does someone has another solution for the problem?
Hi friends,
I recently got myself an LG G7 which has the Always-on Display feature with a dimmed clock and notifications.
A bit of research I did indicated that Nova Launcher is not suppose to overwrite somehow the always-on feature.
But I noticed on my device after making Nova Launcher my default home app the always-on has been deactivated.
Within the LG settings it is shown active. I tried to deactivate/reactivate it and also reboot the device but still the dimmed clock won't be shown.
Any hints on how I can bring it back keeping the Nova Launcher too?
Thank you in advance for any replies.
Notifications not appearing on lockscreen after miui 12 update on my K20 pro. I've gone through every setting in the setting app, notofication, lockscreen, permission etc.. everything is on 'show' and everything under individual app is also set to show notification, autostart, permissions etc but still notifications stopped showing entirely for all apps. Please help.
Go to the battery settings -->battery and apps and disable batery saving for desired app..
I had to find it too as i faced same issue.
