What custom ROMs are you using and how stable is it?
I have been using crDroid for a while, but switched to Havoc recently. All of the ROMs for our device are daily driver candidates. I have preferred Havoc with my time with it. Broke 10hrs SOT on YouTube. Performance is great.
I wish I could get them to work on my unlocked TMO one. Just cant seem to get them working, have tried the Pixel and still no go.

Haha! Maybe try some RenovateICE from the kitchen...
Finally was able to install Pixel. Fast and smooth, except the fingerprint wont work.
Use evox. It's pretty much flawless for tmo

Official LOS 18.1 is coming to our OP8, I think this will be the most stable ROM:
LineageOS 18.1 based on Android 11 is here for nearly 60 devices
LineageOS 18.1 builds based on Android 11 are now available for dozens of smartphones. Here's the changelog and supported devices list!

Why i am doing this
Bring the rom up, work on it and also build it takes time, my free time, which can be spend to my family or so, so don't want to waste my time with something which not will be used.
This helps me to find out what you want to see next, as alternative to lineage.
What you have to do
Vote for your favourite rom first, then you can discuss about pros and cons or whatever you want, but please topic related.
omni nougat is the most stable and speedy rom for our device, so i will choose stability over customization.
Me, ofcourse the stable build lineage 15.0.
An then to android p.

Personally, I'd prefer Ressurection Remix (v6, IIRC?), but I'll be happy with whatever comes out - it's nice to see this device still being supported.

Sadly since kj and galaxy gone its more or less an one man show, thats the reason why i can not build every flavour rom.
Also you don't have to forget that i am support also "athene" my primary phone.
I am happy to get an buildserver, where i can build faster but anyway it takes time.

Have now reported this thread to an moderator that the poll will closed.
Thank you all for voting, rr is coming soon actually load the sources then start the build.
Also the nougat version will comes soon, so you'll have the choise.
Nougat will be stable (same level as lineage 14.1) and oreo still buggy (also same level as lineage 15.1).
Since both (nougat and oreo) are uploaded now, this thread will be closed.
Thanks to all for your votes! :good:

Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if are there any developer working on AOSP 9.0 for our devices?
OnePlus One, 3/3t, 5/5t already received unofficial builds.
Any reply would be highly appreciated.
Have a nice day!

Sounds great to me.
You can try the phh Pie GSI nut some small stuff might be broken ( like NFC ). I've also heard that the Pixel Experience Pie GSI is on the way.
But yeah, for a phone which was even sent to devs to boost the development, it's weird that almost all older Oneplus devices already have Pie ports and this one doesn't.

thats because you can build a pie device tree from the oreo one with some fixes added, we dont have a 'finished' device tree for oreo yet so thats the reason.
Tried GSI AOSP and it boots to launcher for 2 sec then goes to bootloop

Hello, is there any (stable) Android 9.0 yet for bacon? I know that lineageOS won't make any rom's anymore for bacon so that's pretty sad, are there other majors that'll stop too?
Thanks!

There is Agent fabulous's POSP Beta which is very stable and smooth and using it as daily driver since 10 days.
Pleade go through forum before starting a thread. Already we have 3 android P roms - PixysOS, POSP and ArrowOS. All 3 are almost stable. Am using PixysOS as my daily driver.

I did go through the forum but I didn't find any pure comment on asking/replying on if the ROM is mostly stable, that's why I created this thread. Will comment on the ROM post instead in the future!
Mods: Is there any way to make a unified 6/6T thread for the roms, Kernels, etc that can be flashed on both the Enchilada and Fajita?
Devs: Would it be possible or too much work to make upcoming builds of ROMs unified to work on both the 6 and 6T?

Yeah I'm in all of the Havoc groups, as well as a tester for the 6T. They just released a 12/23 build that, to me, was a big update. They really shut Havoc down?!

I doubt they're done doing unified builds. It seems like it'd be harder to do separate roms for both devices rather than doing a unified build for both. Are you talking about the Chinese guy that repacked Havoc with adware?

Clean flash is needed from PE or Havoc
I made a factory reset and managed to keep a lot of my settings ? Rom works fine. I found one bug: when choosing font on lockscreen, the italic and non-italic types are switched. So if I choose "Thin" I get a Thin Italic font shown.
