Android Pie - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, is there any (stable) Android 9.0 yet for bacon? I know that lineageOS won't make any rom's anymore for bacon so that's pretty sad, are there other majors that'll stop too?
Thanks!

There is Agent fabulous's POSP Beta which is very stable and smooth and using it as daily driver since 10 days.

Pleade go through forum before starting a thread. Already we have 3 android P roms - PixysOS, POSP and ArrowOS. All 3 are almost stable. Am using PixysOS as my daily driver.

I did go through the forum but I didn't find any pure comment on asking/replying on if the ROM is mostly stable, that's why I created this thread. Will comment on the ROM post instead in the future!

Do you have a link for a Broken rom based off Nougat for the Moto X Pure you can PM me.
The reason I ask, is I am a member of their G+ Community, access to their direct download site and see NO
Nougat Rom for the Moto X Pure.
only aicp is giving us daily updates
rest r not even bothering nd trying to fix the buggs
so now only rom which we can have hopes to become more stable is aicp...

Pure Nexus is actually my daily driver rom on my xt1575, but i am on the 0802 (6.0.1) build because the 1023 (7.0) build will not boot.
@thebaconbox CyanogenMod 14.1 is 7.1
Curious with the new roms is there still issues of sending SMS with Google voice via Hangouts. Due to looking for a sim card which currently I don't have a plan.

You do realize your download CM14 link (http://www.cyanogenmods.org/) is not the official CM website and contains a link to an old (Nov 10) build of CM14? Why not link directly to HashBang's AFH since that's where people are getting the ROM anyway? https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=profile&uid=95897840722645866

Not as stable as CM14.1 by the same dev. AICP reboots your device on a regular basis for not apparent reason whereas CM appears to be pretty stable.

Just changed it now. Thanks for telling me!
There is a DU 11.0 test build on AFH now. Flashed it and runs great. Has issues with speakerphone, but otherwise, seems great. Can't speak on AUX issues as of right now.

I'm also using it. I'm sticking with this for my daily driver. I went back on the site and I think it's taken down. DU devs don't like people posting without permission.

Yeah, I saw that it had been removed. Glad I grabbed a copy lol. Hopefully they will release it officially, soon. Love me some DU. I've switched over to the latest Tesla unofficial though. Love it. Only issue I've found so far is AUX in car. Speakerphone even works! Plus it has full substratum support. Pretty BA ROM overall.
I'm having issues on the last few Tesla unofficial builds. Screen goes off and I can't wake the device and have to do a forced restart. Don't know if anyone else have this problem. As for the rest aicp and cm 14.1 seem to be the same although I'm using aicp cuz of the regular updates and it seems more well built. tried a few others that I found on AFH but they all seem to have some bug that's a deal breaker for me. Aicp is the best I've tried but all of them seem to have camera issues

I actually think the dead screen issue has been fixed in latest unofficial build of Tesla. How I fixed the issue before though, was to change the governor of the kernel to ondemand.

Tried it out. It's very good and my favorite 7.1 rom. But has random reboots. But again the CypherOS team has a fix on they're Google plus page

Which one is the fully functional and stable OREO rom for OPO?

So far i came across 3 OREO roms. I tested both unofficial lineage 15 and unofficial aosp 8. Both are good. I have to test tuga oreo. Are there any other oreo roms other than these which I missed.?

Which rom you like to see next?

Why i am doing this
Bring the rom up, work on it and also build it takes time, my free time, which can be spend to my family or so, so don't want to waste my time with something which not will be used.
This helps me to find out what you want to see next, as alternative to lineage.
What you have to do
Vote for your favourite rom first, then you can discuss about pros and cons or whatever you want, but please topic related.
omni nougat is the most stable and speedy rom for our device, so i will choose stability over customization.
Me, ofcourse the stable build lineage 15.0.
An then to android p.

Personally, I'd prefer Ressurection Remix (v6, IIRC?), but I'll be happy with whatever comes out - it's nice to see this device still being supported.

Sadly since kj and galaxy gone its more or less an one man show, thats the reason why i can not build every flavour rom.
Also you don't have to forget that i am support also "athene" my primary phone.
I am happy to get an buildserver, where i can build faster but anyway it takes time.

Thank you all for voting, rr is coming soon actually load the sources then start the build.
Also the nougat version will comes soon, so you'll have the choise.
Nougat will be stable (same level as lineage 14.1) and oreo still buggy (also same level as lineage 15.1).
Since both (nougat and oreo) are uploaded now, this thread will be closed.
Thanks to all for your votes! :good:

Most stable android 11 custom ROM?

What custom ROMs are you using and how stable is it?
I have been using crDroid for a while, but switched to Havoc recently. All of the ROMs for our device are daily driver candidates. I have preferred Havoc with my time with it. Broke 10hrs SOT on YouTube. Performance is great.
I wish I could get them to work on my unlocked TMO one. Just cant seem to get them working, have tried the Pixel and still no go.
