Screen doesn't wake up when notifications received? - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

When my phone is locked and the screen is off, notifications don't wake it up. The phone vibrates, the led lights up but the screen remains black. Does anyone have the same issue and know how to fix?
Thanks!

What ROM are you currently using? Also, have you verified that Do Not Disturb is disabled?

There should be a setting for allowing the Notifications to wake up the display. I think that is disabled on your ROM, so try looking for it and turning it ON.

You're right. I can't believe I spent so much time go through all the settings, even turn on Develop but have never noticed this option under Lock screen. Thanks!

capacitive lights stay on even then screen is locked

Hi guys,
last problem for the night - my capatitaive buttons stay lit up, even when the phone is locked.
It happened randomly - I was on AOKP, then CM9, then SKY, now I used Odin to go back to stock but have the same problem.
any ideas?
Not sure, but wouldn't mind hearing a possible fix. Noticed this happening to me when I get a notification running aokp.

Your issue is a feature in AOKP - go to LED options in the settings and check off use buttons as notifications.
my issue is that it stays on with out any notification what so ever, no matter being on stock or not.

Prevent screen wake up on notifications

Hi there!
I'm looking for an app that have the ability to prevent screen wake up when notifications arrive, but I also want the option to select which app that are allowed to wake the screen (like Hello or incoming call).
Does such app exist?

I tested this app, but the screen still turn on. I thought it was Light Flow that caused this behavior, so I deactivated it and rebooted the device. Same problem.

But if I disable notification for an app, it will not push the notification in any form.
Thanks anyways!
Is there a way to prevent screen from waking up for an incoming call while in pocket?
My phone's screen wakes up inside my pocket and registers touches inside and receives calls without me even knowing. This problem is getting out of hands. Already tried the app 'Gravity Screen' and the closest setting I could get to is, screen WILL wake for an incoming call whether the proximity sensor is covered or not (phone's in pocket or not) and will only turn off screen if I uncover the sensor and cover it again.
Please help, experts.
N.b.: my device of rooted so any rooted method will also be appreciated
TIA

Screen not turning on for Notifications

Just updated to Lollipop but for some reason now the screen won't turn on when I receive notifications (msgs, whatsapp, emails etc.). It just vibrates and notification light flashes. Anyone have this issue?
This is not an issue. Lollipop's ambient display is enabled only for a handful of devices. We don't have it
Ok thanks found a way anyway.

Notification problem

Hi, is it just me or does this happen for everyone else? When my wrist is by my side, I get a notification but the screen only turns on for a fraction of a second then turns off. If my watch is in the position where I'm looking to see the time (but screen is off or timed out) the notification turns the screen on and the screen stays on. Is this a bug or a "feature"?
Thanks
my issue is the stock messages app stops sending notifications to the watch. Only a factory reset of the phone fixes the issue and I am not doing that again.

I think mine turns on for more than a fraction of a second. I can usually BRIEFLY see the message. But if I really want a view of it, I do have to make the wrist-twist effort or press the Home Button.

Question Does the screen-off unlock fingerprint icon always stays on?

Recently, I've experienced the fingerprint icon always turning on when screen off. It should be turn off after some time until I raise my phone. It happen last night and I just realise it. I really don't know how is this happen. Even after formatting my phone, it still does that. Can someone confirm this again with your fingerprint setting and let me know the interaction when you choose "screen-off unlock" to "Show fingerprint icon". Thank you in advance.

yes I know they have that function to turn it off. But when choosing to turn it on, it should be gone from the screen until making the device detects movement like picking up the phone.
