Can anyone explain to me the eMMC boot and tampered locked!?!?
You could help yourself by adding device / model to thread's title.
My guess is it's a screen generated by device's bootloader. Indicates device got tampered in whatever way, and bootloader is locked ( S-ON -> Security On ). eMMC-boot seems to be size of /boot partition.

Bootloader is now no longer ***Locked***
Unlocked or Relocked.
It just says details of rom ..S-OFF RL etc.
I need to S-ON.
But it says on anohter thread not to do it if my bootloader doesnt say locked, unlocked or relocked...
Any Advice?
To be frank, up to this step there is no point S-On it too. Good stuff need your device to be S-offed. And On or Off it does not make any changes in your experience using the device.
I do not know how this happened but somehow, my phone's bootloader now says:

It used to be unlocked, though. I was about to flash the latest TWRP when I noticed this peculiar detail. Consequently, I can no longer flash any recovery img - Currently stuck with TWRP 2.4.3.0. And wait. I've already tried HTCdev. It didn't work - the token was written and everything but no "disclaimer" appeared on the screen - Details in attachment. So, it's still locked.
Help me, maybe?

Solution:
It was quite simple actually.
I went to Blue6IX's Development Related Mirror Site and grabbed the 1.44.1107 S-Off PG59IMG Hboot. I renamed it to PG59IMG.zip, sent it to the sdcard, and installed it via bootloader. It's now fully unlocked. Thanks everyone!

Try to do it manually. Like with the whole fastboot OEM unlock etc. Maybe that tool isn't working right. It says your unlock token is 0kb... so is it even there

I believe if you're storing your binary in your root directory ( C:\ ) that location is assumed if it isn't declared. Give the command " fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin " a try.
Fixed it.
I have successfully Rooted the device and obtained superCID, S-Off, and Network Unlock using a manual instruction thread elsewhere, however I have a few questions i am unable to find, the first one is reguarding the mmcblk's and which blocks are pointed to the different mount points for this phone, for example which block does the hboot reside on, or the boot image or recovery, ive searched google and forums and can't seem to find the info for this phone specifically, and help would be greatly appreciated. The second question is reguarding the ENG S-Off Hboot, as i understand it the later phones got shipped with gingerbread and using the known hboot was for froyo, and ends up making the phone boot very slowly, is their any tool that can be used to create an engineering hboot for GB or should I just leave it be?

To find the partition table you can use this command:
Code:
fastboot oem list_partition_emmc
Regarding the ENG S-OFF you don't need ENG S-OFF to flash anything at all. Having S-OFF is more than enough and safer. You can flash the modified ENG S-OFF included in the AAHK2, using the original ENG S-OFF will mess the bootloader as you said.

Thank you, I got the nodded eng hboot without a hitch, now to figure out all these fastboot commands
While in TWRP I formatted and cleared my system. So now I have no OS on my device.
It is a mistake I won't make again. There is no need to tell me how stupid it was.
I have tried a lot of things people have posted here, but I can't seem to get anything to work.
Here's my HBOOT:

I've tried this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730910
except using adb push instead of USB OTG.
On TWRP 2.7.0.0, I had a problem where it said that /system could not be mounted. I could not mount it manually
So I switched to CWM_6.0.4.3. It says it installs fine, but then when I restart, it removes CWM from recovery (I have to flash it again) and it gets stuck at the white htc screen when I boot (even if I flash the boot img of the zip)
I've used adb push to put this on the sdcard:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2616780
Both V_2 and V_3 seem to do fine in CWM until about 40% on the loading bar where they get stuck indefinitely
I tried RUU but I got error 99, which I think is because I have S-ON.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi
From what I read here, Hboot 2.22 uses the new partition layout.
Please read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2713849 how to determinate if you have it or not.
With the new layout, you have to use TWRP 2.7.0.5
greetings
Didier
Thanks
Awesome! Thank you so much

Hey did you figure this out?
I'm having the same problem and I'm stuck. Not sure which rom to try to flash.
Thanks
VZW sent me a new phone and sim to troubleshoot an issues I was having with getting 4G Coverage. Turns out the SIM card needed to be replaced. I am sending in my old phone and went through the steps to get the phone back to stock. After applying the RUU I attempt to switch s-off to s-on. After doing this my bootloader has "Software status: Modified". I messed up the restoration as I did not lock the bootloader prior to putting s-on. I just want to make sure VZW does not have an issue with the Modified banner in the bootloader. Do I need to be S-off to changed the Modified banner? Seems getting your phone s-off on firmware 4.4.4 has become harder, I tried Sunshine and it stated a know issue prevent the application from working.

There going to look for modified
I wouldn't send it I with the modified banner and I don't think there's any way to remove it I your state. I would think your best bet is till hope that sunshine 3.0 works for you when it's released. I feel like that is unlikely however.

You can still relock. Then ruu using the s-on ruu I have posted and the modified message will be gone.

Thanks Modified message went away via relocking the bootloader and flashing your S-On RUU. Bootloader now reads **Software status: Official ***. Do you think VZW would have a problem with the *** Relocked *** flag thath appears in my bootloader now?
I have a similar case. I tried to root my M8x (Asian Variant ) with Kingoroot app which fails. Sunshine was unable to get the temp root on my device before attempting the rooting with this app. Unfortunately in the fastboot menu I saw Software Status modified and Locked.
During the booting after I have a black screen of 3 seconds between the first white screen and the HTC one animation.
Factory resetting the M8 didn't change the situation
Thanks in advance

Run the s-on ruu and that will clear.
