Hi All
Compliments for 2021 and be safe!
I took out my Huawei P Smart phone which I did not use for a very long time. Unfortunately I can't remember my pin to restart the phone.
I tried to factory reset the phone by pressing the "power & vol up keys" simultaneously. I get the error: "software installed failed!" and I only see the "reboot system now" option.
I downloaded the HiSuite Version: 11.0.0.500_OVE to try the "system recovery" option by pressing the "power & vol down keys" simultaneously, via USB cable to my laptop, but my device is not supported.
I tried unsuccessfully tried various pin numbers, the waiting time is just getting longer when it keeps on failing.
Is there away that I can bypass my problem to use my Huawei P Smart phone again?
The help will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance and be safe.

I have updated my H60-L12 to the latest stable ROM B532 through the various incremental upgrades. Everything seems to be working fine. Fastboot gives my phone as still being unlocked...yet on trying to load the twrp recovery via the method suggested with the latest multitool, I keep getting the message: "failed remote command not allowed"
Could it be something in my settings? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I had the same issue for the longest and tried everything possible under XDA's advice. its for the first time that I was not able to find the soloution to my isuues with the phone. Desperation let me to keep on trying until i accidently found how to a "Hard Reset" which eventually solved this issue
1) Power your phone off.
2) Hold Vol Up (+) Button, while keeping it pressed push the power Button.
3) As soon as you see the honor logo (blueish color), move from Vol up (+) to Vol down (-) While Still Pressing The Power Button.
4) Keep Pressing Vol (-) and Power Button, --> will go through "turning your device on" --> Blank Screen --> Hard Reset Menu.
5) Well everyone knows from this point onwards --> Wipe It Clean, Reboot, Just like New.
Hope this helps.

U can try to factory reset from settings too
Hi, suddenly my device is not working fine. These are the problems.
-Can't see my notifications;
-Can't see my lockscreen;
-The home button doesnt' work;
-Factory mode isn't available, it says that there is no command.
I tried to unlock the bootloader from the Motorola site, but in the last step, when I enter the unlock code, it fails and tells me to enable the USB debugging. I tap seven times to the "number build" but nothing happens. I have the developer options but when I tap it the page is blank with no options. What can I do? Can somebody help me please?

Try a proper external Factory Reset
Android 5.x (Lollipop)/Android 6.x (Marshmallow) Steps
With the phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the device turns on.
Press the Volume Down key to highlight Recovery mode.
Press the Power key to restart into Recovery mode.
The screen will display an Android robot with a red exclamation mark. (ie. No Command)
While holding down the Power key, press and release the Volume Up key, then release Power.
Use the volume keys to scroll to Wipe data/factory reset and press the Power key to select it.
Scroll down to Yes - erase all user data and press the Power key to select it.

Unlocking the bootloader does not require ADB at all, it only requires fastboot and OEM Unlocking enabled in Developer options.
Please check!
Please tell me, if these are the problems you observed:

If yes, please tell if your device ran out of flash memory.

Hello,
I have problems with my Mate 9, when i power on, each time it is blocked in EMUI screen, "DOWNLOAD LAST VERSION AND RECOVERY". It connected on wifi, but cannot download. I have option to reboot, or shut down.
It goes in fast boot mode, and it says "phone relocked FPR lock" HIsuite can see it, but cannot restore system.
When i press 3 buttons, it says "software install failed, this update package does not exist.
Please help!
Hey everyone! I'm new around XDA, but i know its a great community!
Well, it looks that its my time to request some help...
Today i got my hands on a Huawei P20 PRO Twingo, the model is CLT-L29 , it came locked by google (FRP), and i tried some stuff i found allover google and YouTube around a bypass that currently doesn't work anymore, because my android versions seems more recent and doesn't have the functionality that i need to bypass the FRP.
Then i started making some more research around the subject and found a guy that could help me downgrading the firmware by fastboot mode, but the device doesnt want to enter on that mode, i turn it off, press the VOL DOWN for a while then i connect the USB, i even tried a different laptop, nothing...
After that i tried to press all the Volume keys with power key... it entered on a screen "EMUI" that says "SOFTWARE INSTALL FAILED! GET HELP FROM xxxx.EMUI COM/BLABLABLA) and says "Reboot system now"...i then press reboot now, and i does a regular reboot and starts up to select language etc, all good... BUT FRP locked...
Whats going on? Do you guys think someone already attempted to do something on this device? Or its the system locking it for security?
Thanks a lot for your time reading this! Hope to get some replies and hopefully solve this!
I managed to get inside eRecovery mode, pressing up volume for a while with the device turned off, and plugging the USB...
then i did "download latest version and recovery"... well.... it successfully downloaded a 3.8gb file and installed, but after reboot i still can't set it up to fastboot mode
I made the mistake of Factory Resetting my phone after a few failed attempts at remembering the Pattern to unlock the phone, in doing so I ended up being stuck in the set-up process because I forgot the Google account I was logged into on it before the Factory Reset, had been an account I just quickly made on the spot months ago just to set up an app on it. I'm posting here for help with this since I'm on day 4 of trying to find a way to bypass this and my head is ready to explode. I feel like someone with a fresh mind would be able to point me in the right direction.
If anyone can let me know if I'm doing something wrong or missing some steps that will help me try any one of these, or honestly any advice at all... I'd very much appreciate it and it'd help relieve a huge chunk of this ridiculous headache this has all been.
Thanks in advance!
What I've tried thus far --
- I know for most ways around this, USB debugging needs to be enabled. But since I cannot get past the initial set-up process, I can't access the settings to enable it.
- I also know that for a lot of Android devices USB debugging is enabled by default in Recovery Mode but everywhere I've searched for the hardware combination to boot into Recovery/Download mode, all say the same thing:
Turn phone off > Power up with Vol. Down + Power button until 'Download Mode' is displayed (for boot into Download mode, while holding Vol. Down + Power button plug OTG cable into device)
- My problem with this is that on my device, Vol. Down + Power button, restarts the phone. So instead of 'Download Mode', I'm just restarting the phone over and over again. I was able to get my phone to boot into was Safe mode using the Power button + Side button.
- I've also tried getting around this through a series of steps which involved the 'TalkBack' accessibility feature, but when I try toggling to enable it I just get a message saying "Complete setup first to continue"
From there --
I started looking up Stock ROMs that I'd be able to just flash the firmware. But for the life of me, I cannot seem to find anything for this device. And this is where I'm pretty much at now.
To remove FRP lock you boot into phone's Recovery mode and apply
1. Wipe data
2. Factory Reset
Every Android device gets shipped by default with Android Recovery.

I can't get my device to boot into Recovery mode. Everywhere I look up, it tells me to Power off device, then Press Vol. Down + Power key until the menu appears. But on my device, all that combination does is force the phone to restart.
