Dear XDA mates,
I am facing this different kind of issue currently. None of the process on my phone are working. Here is what has happened and what is happening:
What happened:
1. I dropped my phone in water. It soaked in water literally.
2. I dried it off but saw that phone was starting and shutting down automatically. I kept it the way it is so that it can dry off further.
3. Couple of hours after I started the device and it was all working but I wanted to make sure it is working fine so switched it off and kept it to dry off till next morning.
4. Next morning phone was not switching on.
5. I put in on charge and after a while try to switch it on. The phone started but was giving me zero battery alert and switching off. I thought it is a usual battery going dead issue and left the phone the way it is.
6. After one day I kept it on charge again but nothing happened so I finally decided to take the device to service center.
7. Stupid service center technician told me, phone is dead completely and motherboard has to be changed. I decided to not do anything with the phone and brought it back home.
8. I kept it on charge and guess what, phone was full charged next morning and it started again.
What is happening:
1. The phone started but now as soon as I unlock the phone, I start seeing errors. (Unfortunately, Google Play Newsstand has stopped, Unfortunately, com.google.process.gapps has stopped, Unfortunately, Weather has stopped etc etc, the error never ends).
2. Now it thought of doing a factory reset, went to Fastboot mode, selected the Factory option, phone goes to Moto logo and I see the same old lockscreen. Phone is not resetting.
3. I thought of flashing the phone with stock firmware, went on fastboot mode again, tried to go on Recovery option. Phone returns to fastboot mode with error (in yellow font) "Boot up failed".
Now I am stuck, I see some serious problem has happened for sure.
I need some super expert help and need to understand what might have happened to my phone.
Sad for you, mine opinion is it might related to hardware issues. Hope some pros may come up and help you here.

Tried flashing but nothing happens
I have tried flashing it too. When it fastboot mode, I see that all the processes are running as intended and once the flash is complete and my phone starts with Moto G, guess what - I see the same old wallpaper and lock screen. It means phone is not flashed .

I suppose that either means you flashed incorrectly, the phone is still wet inside or the phone is damaged.
Try drying it on a warm, dry place for another day or two.
Good luck!
Will trying flashing after 2 weeks of phone phones processes has stopped
I will flash it today again.
Which is the best process to flash the Moto G phone. I have followed couple of methods and they haven't worked for me.
It could also because of the battery issue. I read it on another forum that Factory cable might help.
Can you or anyone else point me to Factoty cable. Searched all over ebay and all I could see is Factory cable for Moto Razr.
Let me know guys.
Thanks.

I'm similar situation. Only my daughter's Moto G (android 4.4.4) was not physically damaged.
After sreen unlocking the phone shows errors "Unfortanately [everything] has stopped working".
I flashed stock recovery many times but it does't help.
And one more thing: if the phone is connected to the PC it is possible to run fastboot commands, but the phone filesystem is not accesible.
Is this a hardware problem?
P.s. Sorry for my english

Flash the stock rom via fastboot dat could fix the problem:good:
So,, first of all, hello everyone! I'm new, I'm not a device-proficient, and I'm in a problem with my phone.
This might get complicated.
So my problem starts just some days ago. When I am charging my phone with a tablet charger, it now stuck on the COOLPAD screen when plugged in. It bricked itself, but if I restart boot the phone it will turn on and goes normal, so I turn it off again then charge it with an appropriate charger. And it works and charges. Although that usually the tab charger didn't do this to my phone before.
But then.... That's just the start.
When I booted it on after charge fully and then turned off for some hours, it will boot, but no sound coming when booting on COOLPAD screen, which indicates a problem. The booting on the screen of that takes long, very long then when it's On, surprise surprise the wifi can't connect to any nets suddenly, Sim card cant be read (indicated as No Service) , SD card not detected as well(also indicated as No SD card) . Seems like a malfunction. I had experience the same before 5 months ago (and it goes semi-perma so I asked Coolpad center for software reinstall).
So what did I do? I restarted the phone through the Chinese recovery mode. Booted up right, and back to normal. But this happens just when I boot it on morning now. I am scared this might get worse and will completely bootloop or brick my phone in the future (just like the same problem I face some month ago).
So should I never turn my phone off again or is there a fix for this? Tried factory resetting it in the past, the problem just got even worse so I won't do it again the third time my phone is broken again after software reinstall again. Please help, can't really switch phone until able to find a very reasonable priced ones.:crying:
NOTE: Some day before, my Coolshow app got disabled by Play Store because of "danger" reasons. It is a system app that comes with Coolpad. I can't enable it again because the enable app isn't there, just a greyed out Disable button. I don't like to reset the preferences of apps because it'll make me need to set everything up again. Problem already occurring 3 days ago, till now.
Hello guys. I'm at my wits end and looking for some help.
I bought a new still sealed in the box Oneplus 7 pro off ebay back in April. Bad idea I know. Everything has been fine up until earlier this month when I started to notice that often times when I looked at my phone it would have no signal. After a few minutes it would reconnect automatically. I thought it was Straight Talk at first but it started to happen more and more frequently, and eventually it no longer would reconnect on its own. Since I was frustrated with the service I was getting with Straight Talk I switched to Verizon and the problem persisted. The phone will work fine for 10min, an hour, or half the day. Suddenly it will completely lose all signal. I've tried turning data on and off in the quick settings, or removing the sim card and reinserting and neither will not work. The only sure way to get the data back on is I either have to restart the phone, or turn the data on and off in the dialer diagnostic menu. Those are the only 2 ways to always get the data back on. After it comes back on it will work for several minutes to half the day before losing connection again.
Im currently running 10.3.3, but before this I was on 10.3.1 and had the same issue. I have reset the phone countless times, reinstalled the OS multiple times, tried different network types in the diagnostic menu and nothing works. I don't believe its a hardware issue because switching the data on and off in the diagnostic menu always works.
Does anyone have any clue whats wrong and what I should do? Thanks in advance.

at this point, you could try the opened beta https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/beta-15-rolling-t4114211. you could also try a different kernel to see if that helps.
I finally got off the stable and updated to the beta and the problem persist. Is there like a baseband firmware that I can flash that will upgrade the radio in the phone? Maybe that would work.

I had that happen to me with an old device when I would select LTE only on my device. Have you tried changing the band from 2/3/4 G to only 2/3 G. This is not a solution to correct your problem, only a test to determine if your signal will remain constant.
Also, since your got the phone BNIB may need to contact 1+ support directly, as I believe you should be within the 1 year manufacturer warranty.
Hi, I just received the beast for my daughter.
After setting-up everything, the phone remains running with a "Just a moment please" message.... for the last 2 hours.
What should I do?
Thanks
Hi, my daughters Poco X3 (two months old from new, no issues thus far whatsover) decided today go into the main menu of Poco Recovery 3.0
thus far i have tried to reboot which just switches the phone off and on back to the same menu. I have also tried the connect with MiAssistent but as i never used that software before it doesn't recognise the device.
I have NOT tried wipe data yet, as i hope one of you has a solution that's avoiding that.
I'm currently trying to run the battery completely dead in the hope the phone then forgets this nonsense but i would assume there are more technical solutions to the problem than sheer luck.
thanks in advance for any help
