Need a Help to recover my Realme XT data. i think this is the only place to get the safe and best help. - General Questions and Answers

Hello Everyone, I need a help if someone can assist please do...
Accidentally i deleted data from my #Realme XT, which had some important videos and photos shoot for a documentary.
i tried to recover through some ways, through some apps, they just recover thumbnails. i can't do it through apps because it will overwrite memory so will be difficult to recover in future.
i used Fonepaw on windows system which also recovered the thumbnails, and asked me for a deep scan which needs my mobile to be rooted.
but the rooting process i found for Realme XT, ask to unlock the Bootloader before rooting the device, and as i am getting it that will wipe the phone data ( i guess memory too ). i don't know....
either someone knows to root the mobile safely without wiping the memory or someone has a better suggestion to recover the data without rooting. please help.
All the suggestions, guidelines and helps are mostly welcome to recover my important data.
Thanks ...

IMO you should ask MODS to move your thread to Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshhooting forum

Thank you

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
There is no forum specifically for the Lenovo S660 but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. Since your device is not widely used, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good Luck!

[Completed] Virus/Malware/Trojan - Cannot remove - Low level format? Prestigio PSP3502DUO

Hi,
So I'm trying to fix this device for a friend of mine... He seems to have some sort of virus on it - Malwarebytes finds the following:
Android/Trojan.Rootnik.K
Android/PUP.Riskware.Ninap.a
Android/Trojan.Rootnik.K
Android/Backdoor.Triada.av
Android/Backdoor.Triada.J
Android/Trojan.Dropper.Agent.we
Android.PUP.Riskware.Smspay.BY
Android.PUP.Adware.Sprovider.F
Android/Backdoor.Triada.prl
Android/Trojan.Triada.m
Android/Backdoor.Triada.prl
I've tried a factory reset whiping all data - I've tried wiping the data from CWM.
As soon as the phone boots back up and I go through the device registration etc I can see various pop-ups, apps trying to install themselves.
Simply cannot get rid of thios virus/malware/trojan...
Does anyone know how to do a low level format on this device? Or if the process for low level format its generic (hopefully) for all Android devices?
If not, does anyone know how to get rid of this virus?
Many thanks,
Ryan

File/Data Recovery on unrooted stock P20 Pro CLT-L29 [HELP]

Hi, so some background, it has been a long time since I have touched custom ROMs or root access on an android device (back when the Nexus 2 released) so I don't really remember anything and know nothing about how the android environment has changed.
The reason for my post is that I was "hiding" sentimental/sensitive material in a folder associated with the Google Drive application using a file manager app (cut and paste into Drive folder) so that it wouldn't appear in Gallery scans, and when my drive app wasn't working as expected I (stupidly) uninstalled the update (can't actually uninstall the app on stock ROM) causing the folder to be wiped. Now I'm trying to find a way to recover the files but all the solutions recommended by a google search that I've tried require root and from what I know, correct me if I'm wrong, unlocking my bootloader to gain root access will wipe my internal storage which would probably defeat the whole purpose(?) of trying to recover information as it will overwrite the sectors. So does anyone know of anyway that I can recover this data from my device? I am willing to root as long as it will yield results.
tl;dr - need to recover files on stock P20 Pro (locked bootloader, no root), please help I am lost and a noob now
Thanks in advance!
P.S. This was (incorrectly) posted in the discussion forum before and I have requested it to be deleted

Stop bumping. You are simply in the wrong section. None of us has a Pro model. This is the P20-Forum. Not Pro, not lite. I can not understand why people see 3 different devices as one. Ask here. Good luck!

Assistance in Rooting SM-G955U

Hello All,
I'm new to the group, and am seeking a some advice. I've been doing a ton of research, and now I'm reaching out for assistance. I have a Samsung s8+ (SM-G955U) that I would like to retrieve deleted SMS from the internal storage. The only way I know of to do this is rooting the device, which isn't straight forward on the S8+. Since I do not need this phone rooted to do any development against, I'm wondering if there is a different method of getting the deleted texts. I'm not sure if it's possible to somehow make an image of the files and use an emulator in Android Studio to get to the data/data folders.
I've have USB debugging enabled and ran some third party data recovery software, with no joy.
If rooting is the phone is the only option, is it possible to even achieve root on the SM-G955U? Additionally, it sounds like unlocking the bootloader will wipe all data, so how does one ensure that deleted SMS messages get backed-up and restored?
Sorry for all the questions -- I'm new!
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide!
