[Completed] Virus/Malware/Trojan - Cannot remove - Low level format? Prestigio PSP3502DUO - XDA Assist

Hi,
So I'm trying to fix this device for a friend of mine... He seems to have some sort of virus on it - Malwarebytes finds the following:
Android/Trojan.Rootnik.K
Android/PUP.Riskware.Ninap.a
Android/Trojan.Rootnik.K
Android/Backdoor.Triada.av
Android/Backdoor.Triada.J
Android/Trojan.Dropper.Agent.we
Android.PUP.Riskware.Smspay.BY
Android.PUP.Adware.Sprovider.F
Android/Backdoor.Triada.prl
Android/Trojan.Triada.m
Android/Backdoor.Triada.prl
I've tried a factory reset whiping all data - I've tried wiping the data from CWM.
As soon as the phone boots back up and I go through the device registration etc I can see various pop-ups, apps trying to install themselves.
Simply cannot get rid of thios virus/malware/trojan...
Does anyone know how to do a low level format on this device? Or if the process for low level format its generic (hopefully) for all Android devices?
If not, does anyone know how to get rid of this virus?
Many thanks,
Ryan

remove warning when enabling data => modify rom?

Hey guys,
my smartphone always shows me a horribly annoying warning when i'm enabling data. Is there any way to remove that warning? I've tried SemcPhonePatcher, but it didn't work at all. Is there any way to search in /system for that warning in order to remove it? Or what about extracting the Rom on my computer and then search for it? (maybe there is a tool?
I'm using this Rom on my Umi X2T, but I think that could be interesting for other smartphones too.
Thank you very much guys!
Best regards

[Completed] com.android.googlequicksearchbox is present 86 times in my /data/app folder

Hi all, I tried to search high and low for this bug on the internet but couldn't find anyone talking about it.
I found my phone at 0 free space and started looking into it, the various space analyzer showed that system data were using 9+GB out of nowhere, so I started hunting with the terminal and I found this in my /app/data folder (see https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxprUtVGpxnQNG1GR2YtOFhfWUY0RDVNczM2U1VjMjR1ZDc4)
I have no idea how to fix it (without another factory reset): if somebody had already had this issue, please, let me know how to fix it, it never happened to me in the android history.

[Completed] how to clean malware from kingo rooted android 4.1.1 huawei y300-100 phone

hi. really i just want my phone to be sure to clear from any malware, but this could also be a request of how to flash a new OS if this is needed. the phone runs as slowly as it ever did so i can't see any major difference in that. one thing is that a data usage app shows no increase in data since the possible infection, even though i know i am using the mobile data. and this seems strange as though something could be blocking this to hide its own communications.
i rooted my UK android phone with kingoroot a while back to gain SU access to allow me to store apps on the external SD card. that was ages ago and i don't access to the same windows PC. (i have a linux'd laptop)
foolishly i clicked on a whatsapp message with a 'free voucher offer' link, even though i though this was too good to be true and i knew i shouldn't click on this kind of nonsense.... i have since installed norton antivirus and it says the phone is fine, though i am still dubious that the app can check for any malware that may have entered into the lower levels of the system given kingoroot has messed with the access controls. for now i have removed any apps that have my bank details
i have read that in these circumstances even factory reset may guarantee clearing anything. is this correct? so am i right that the only way to be sure the phone is clean is to re-install a new boot loader and OS?
if so, this is a little beyond me and i find conflicting instructions as to what to do, or where to download the correct files. i find more links to installing non- standard android 4.3 or 4.4, with reports that these maybe aren't stable. if they are OK i'd happy with these, but 4.1.1 does most of what i want (apart from the lack of internal memory and not being able to store apps on the external SD)
would doing a firmware update to a newer version B209 do the same? (mine is currently B197) i can find a link from a place i trust from github, and if this helps the phone run better then i would be up for doing that anyway but again would not know how to.
do i have to undo the Kingoroot before i start any of this? is the CNET download link for kingoroot safe to use as the kingoapp.com website doesn't work for me anymore.
massive thanks in advance for any thoughts on this

Greetings and welcome to xda. Factory resetting or reflashing stock firmware should wipe any offending program so you will be ok there. If you ask your question here

hopefully the experts there can help you with kingroot

[Completed] Loaded new firmware - Lost hidden Items in gallery

Hi Experts,
So this happened with me:
- Tried rooting my Android - Successful
- Installed Root Booster App - Successful
- Enabled Speed booster from the app - successful
- Phone Bricked after restart :X
It was in a boot loop. Just stuck there. So went to recovery mode and wiped cache and did a factory reset. Did not work. Still stuck in boot loop. After a deep thought, I decided to install a fresh firmware.
Specs:
- My Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo
- Model Num: SM-N750
- Firmware: N750XXUDPA2
- ANDROID: 5.1.1 (lolipop)
I did a fresh install of the firmware using the right tools and was able to get back my phone.
Problem:
Earlier, I got all gallery items stored in the SDCARD. I hid a few important items from general view by making a folder and adding all images in it, then made the folder hidden. Since I removed the SDCARD before formatting or installing the firmware, it was out all times. No chance of data lost.
However, when I try to access the same gallery now, it only shows the gallery items which were not hidden. I am not able to locate any of the hidden folders and images.
Since the images are very important, I hope you experts can help me out and point me in the right direction on how to restore them.
Please help!
Thanks!
Jas

Need a Help to recover my Realme XT data. i think this is the only place to get the safe and best help.

Hello Everyone, I need a help if someone can assist please do...
Accidentally i deleted data from my #Realme XT, which had some important videos and photos shoot for a documentary.
i tried to recover through some ways, through some apps, they just recover thumbnails. i can't do it through apps because it will overwrite memory so will be difficult to recover in future.
i used Fonepaw on windows system which also recovered the thumbnails, and asked me for a deep scan which needs my mobile to be rooted.
but the rooting process i found for Realme XT, ask to unlock the Bootloader before rooting the device, and as i am getting it that will wipe the phone data ( i guess memory too ). i don't know....
either someone knows to root the mobile safely without wiping the memory or someone has a better suggestion to recover the data without rooting. please help.
All the suggestions, guidelines and helps are mostly welcome to recover my important data.
Thanks ...
IMO you should ask MODS to move your thread to Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshhooting forum
Thank you
