OS version: 11.0.2.2 (EU)

Thank you.

Thanks a lot for uploading this! I managed to flash it and root my device but now the wifi isn't working. I cleared the cache with TWRP but that didn't resolve the issue. Flashing back the original boot image made the wifi work again.

ok, perhaps it depends on BA (EU) or AA (global) ROM version? however you can boot the rooted one, install a downloaded version of magisk20 via magisk manager to patch your own kernel directly.

I flashed the 4.14.117-perf+.img that you uploaded and then I booted in TWRP and flashed my original stock boot image. While still in TWRP, I flashed the zip of Magisk and then I rebooted. That got it working. So I'm rooted now. Thanks for sending me the image. I appreciate it!

Can you explain to me how important a magisk boot patched is? Did you leave Pie for 10? What's the procedure?

I was rooted on 10.0 and then I upgraded to 10.0.1
There is a procedure for upgrading to 10.0.1 and still keeping root. I wasn't aware of this and after I got the update, I restarted my device and ended up without root access.
A Magisk patched boot image is important for getting your device rooted.
If you're asking for the procedure to root your device, then you can follow this link which explains it, https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-android-10-twrp-t3964131

Question How to root Poco X3 Pro?

I have successfully unlocked my bootloader with the Xiaomi Unlock tool. I am new here and I want to know how I can root my Poco X3 Pro (I have 8GB 256GB Global Variant)? Can someone share the working TWRP and Magisk? I just want to root my phone if someone has any working version of Magisk to flash from Fastboot mode it will be enough.
You don't need flash TWRP to install magisk. You have to download the firmware you are using and copy the boot.img to the internal storage. Then install the latest version of the magisk app and select "patch boot.img" as the installation method. The generated file must be flashed by fastboot ("fastboot flash boot boot.img"). Congrats! You're root.

I just made an account to remind: This is the Xiaomi.eu rom based on the chinese version
It is not the stock rom officially for the EU, the name of that would be "RJUEUXM"
I believe this is important, in case one wants to lock the bootloader again. From what I have read, unlocking a bootloader of a global/EU based Phone and downloading a chinese based rom and locking the bootloader will brick the phone. At least that's what I've read

Upload and send me boot.img by pm, I'm going to try patch it to know if it is a problem with your magisk or the file.
it seems that Magisk 22.1 was the problem, uninstalled, and installed v22.0. This version was able to do its job.

I can do it with 22.1, I think something strange happened with your phone.
Do we have to patch vbmeta also??
Has anybody had any luck flashing the EU 12.0.5.0 (RJUEUXM)? My bootloader is unlocked and I put my device in fastboot mode, extracted all the files in archived in the rom into my adb folder (which contains the adb repositories) and double-clicked "flash_all.bat" and let the process complete. However, my device does a constant boot loop of the POC splash screen. I thought what I did would be sufficient, or would I need to use the Mi Flash tool to proceed w/ this process instead?
i m waiting for the 6/128 variant. do i need a different firmware from the aforementioned one?

I don't think so
will i be receiving formal OTA updates if i just root the phone? (no custom rom, no custom recovery)
tried searching, but didnt find something relevant in this thread.

Hello, I was experiencing the same problem.
To get back to normal boot, just restore the oroginal boot.img via fastboot.
Code: fastboot flash boot boot_ori.img
I am still searching how to root this Xiaomi 11T .
Thank you veri much
im working on a Umidigi A7 Pro. having the same problem with bootlooping after flashing the patch via Smart Phone Flash Tool v5
from what ive read, there seems to be a bug in the newer versions of magisk. in my digging, i remember reading about a specific, older version of magisk that reportedly work, with my device anyway. i cant find it again, and dont remember which it was.
if you figure it out, post back so i can try on the umidigi. if i have any luck, ill do the same.
EDIT:
here are some resources. links to older versions of magisk.

Rooting a phone's Android OS has to be done on OS level, not on phone's bootloader level.

Technically spoken rooting Android OS simply is to add a binary called SU to Android's filesystem, nothing else.
Fastboot operates on a phone's bootloader, not on phone's Android OS.

Question TWRP after updating to Android 12

Hi there,
I updated to ColorOS12 and accidentely rebooted, before flashing Magisk and TWRP.
My question is now: Can flash TWRP the ususal way WITHOUT losing my data?
Bootloader is unlocked of course.
TWRP doesn't work on Android 12 and flashing Magisk with recovery isn't supported anymore anyway.
Are you actually on ColorOS or are you calling OxygenOS ColorOS? If you're on OOS, you can get patched images here (there is a guide linked in the post too).
[DISCONTINUED][OOS & PA] OnePlus 9 stock/patched boot images
Now as we have TWRP for any A11-13 ROMs, there's no need for boot image patching, just flash magisk in TWRP. Hi! There's a great root guide here on xda by @zymphad and i thought i'd share the boot images for different OOS and Paranoid Android...

If you're on ColorOS, you won't be able to use these images and will have to do the patching yourself.

Yes it is.
Ok, but flashing the boot.img only doesn't erase my data, right?
And after there is no c.48 available in the linked thread, I have to patch it on my own I guess?!

Just boot the C.47 image and direct install once it's up. As long as you don't flash it, it should work to get the device up and running with root to install.
And no, flashing the boot image doesn't wipe data.

OEM unlock, using Fastboot.
Use the readback function of the MSM tool to get a copy of the boot.img file from the active slot.
Patch that with Magisk 25.2 (26.1 didn't work for me).
Fastboot to the patched boot.img file
Install Magisk directly.
Update Magisk to the latest version.
