Hello, I was experiencing the same problem.
To get back to normal boot, just restore the oroginal boot.img via fastboot.
Code: fastboot flash boot boot_ori.img
I am still searching how to root this Xiaomi 11T .
Thank you veri much

im working on a Umidigi A7 Pro. having the same problem with bootlooping after flashing the patch via Smart Phone Flash Tool v5
from what ive read, there seems to be a bug in the newer versions of magisk. in my digging, i remember reading about a specific, older version of magisk that reportedly work, with my device anyway. i cant find it again, and dont remember which it was.
if you figure it out, post back so i can try on the umidigi. if i have any luck, ill do the same.
EDIT:
here are some resources. links to older versions of magisk.
Download Latest Magisk zip v23.0 and Magisk Manager 8.0.7 and Root your phone
On this page, we will share the full instructions to download and install Magisk zip on your Android Phone. This tutorial is also for the newbies/noobs

Technically spoken rooting Android OS simply is to add a binary called SU to Android's filesystem, nothing else.
Fastboot operates on a phone's bootloader, not on phone's Android OS.

The model m1803d5xe version( known as 6GB ram black color version in China, have limited bands) probably has a limit on flashing root( magisk) in the Global rom. It will cause bootloop and currently have no solution. The m1803d5xa version( Global version) works well.

Oh yes yes, this maybe!!!! My model m1803d5xe
So if m1803d5xa works and m1803d5xe doesn't it's exactly the same problem as when flashing Magisk 16.4 with TWRP:
All devices with xe will bootloop. The only difference is, your variant without TWRP doesn't work on Chinese ROMs, only global. But flashing 16.4 on xa model and Chinese ROM works

You can install Magisk on m1803d5xe with Chinese ROM. It works fine, but gpay don't works.
So basically magisk only works if you are running native rom for your phone model? What about 256gb version?
I am very confused about which method can be used on which model and ROM. I try to read again through the different threads.
I tried to come up with a matrix that shows all working and non working ways. Can anyone help me to correct and complete this please?

ok, perhaps it depends on BA (EU) or AA (global) ROM version? however you can boot the rooted one, install a downloaded version of magisk20 via magisk manager to patch your own kernel directly.

I flashed the 4.14.117-perf+.img that you uploaded and then I booted in TWRP and flashed my original stock boot image. While still in TWRP, I flashed the zip of Magisk and then I rebooted. That got it working. So I'm rooted now. Thanks for sending me the image. I appreciate it!

I was rooted on 10.0 and then I upgraded to 10.0.1
There is a procedure for upgrading to 10.0.1 and still keeping root. I wasn't aware of this and after I got the update, I restarted my device and ended up without root access.
A Magisk patched boot image is important for getting your device rooted.
If you're asking for the procedure to root your device, then you can follow this link which explains it, https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-android-10-twrp-t3964131

Verified Root Method

1. Unlock bootloader via MI Flash Tool
2. Install ADB and Fastboot Drivers
3. Downloader Latest Platform Tools
4. Open command prompt window in platform tools folder
5. Take phone to fastboot mode (Adb reboot bootloader)
6. Flash the given boot image (Fastboot flash boot boot.img)
7. Flash the given vbmeta (Fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img)
8. Reboot (Fastboot reboot)
9. Download, install and open latest magisk manager in phone. It will reboot phone.
10. Done. You have root now. Verify via root checker.

Some games will start to crash, and some apps wont work because they will detect root and close down. You can flash stock boot and vbmeta image to unroot and they will work.
Unofficial TWRP (compiled by @Tigrouzen) is attached. Flash in fastboot mode and then flash vbmeta from above.

Not my work, ask @Tigrouzen .
It's working. I don't have to install any ROM to root the phone. Thanks.
This can be done with any version of ROM? I have India version 12.0.9
@sakeyo i dont think region is important for this process, the only diference is the bloatware inside the rom,
if it doesnt works, you can just flash back the stock boot.img and vbmeta.img
or if you want, you can change the ROM to Global
I used XiaomiToolv2 https://www.xiaomitool.com/V2/
It works perfectly on my device. Thanks!

To be honest, I only wanted root for the sake of having ViPER4Android. I tried the rootless version, but it failed on my phone... got stuck in a boot loop. I'm using Black Player Ex, the equalizer in tandem with the Mi Sound Enhancer works like a charm. One thing I noticed, is that the sound level on the Global Rom is very low compared to the Chinese version, so I'm sticking to the Chinese Rom. If You come across ViPER that can be installed on our device without the need for root, Please let me know. It's a shame that Xiaomi wouldn't/don't have ViPER pre-installed as a system app?
Best Regards

Question How to root Poco X3 Pro?

I have successfully unlocked my bootloader with the Xiaomi Unlock tool. I am new here and I want to know how I can root my Poco X3 Pro (I have 8GB 256GB Global Variant)? Can someone share the working TWRP and Magisk? I just want to root my phone if someone has any working version of Magisk to flash from Fastboot mode it will be enough.
You don't need flash TWRP to install magisk. You have to download the firmware you are using and copy the boot.img to the internal storage. Then install the latest version of the magisk app and select "patch boot.img" as the installation method. The generated file must be flashed by fastboot ("fastboot flash boot boot.img"). Congrats! You're root.

I just made an account to remind: This is the Xiaomi.eu rom based on the chinese version
It is not the stock rom officially for the EU, the name of that would be "RJUEUXM"
I believe this is important, in case one wants to lock the bootloader again. From what I have read, unlocking a bootloader of a global/EU based Phone and downloading a chinese based rom and locking the bootloader will brick the phone. At least that's what I've read

Upload and send me boot.img by pm, I'm going to try patch it to know if it is a problem with your magisk or the file.
it seems that Magisk 22.1 was the problem, uninstalled, and installed v22.0. This version was able to do its job.

I can do it with 22.1, I think something strange happened with your phone.
Do we have to patch vbmeta also??
Has anybody had any luck flashing the EU 12.0.5.0 (RJUEUXM)? My bootloader is unlocked and I put my device in fastboot mode, extracted all the files in archived in the rom into my adb folder (which contains the adb repositories) and double-clicked "flash_all.bat" and let the process complete. However, my device does a constant boot loop of the POC splash screen. I thought what I did would be sufficient, or would I need to use the Mi Flash tool to proceed w/ this process instead?
i m waiting for the 6/128 variant. do i need a different firmware from the aforementioned one?

Lineage OS 18.1-some banking apps not working

Hi. I just installed Lineage OS 18.1 on my Mi A2. It is working fine for now and much appreciates the work done by the developers. However, I cannot open some banking apps now. Is there a way to fix this? I would be grateful if you could give an effective solution.
Banking / payment apps (at least some) are becoming increasingly capable of detecting bootloader unlocking, custom ROMs, and rooting, even with all Magisk cloacking/hiding measures...
