I thought it should be good to have a thread like this.
So, this is my experience so far.
-Facebook crashes
-Samsung music crashes
-display layout with hd resolution (battery saving on) playing asphalt 8 (bottom part of the picture is missing) ,
-the font on some apps grows with lower resolution.
For me, in the beginning lots of freezes but now everything is so much faster !
There seems to be no RAW mode for the camera :'l
EDIT: Under 1st option
Uninstall music app and install it from Samsung app store(i had your problem aswell), uninstall Facebook updates and update again
When I answer in Viber, in the banner notification, and hit send, it automatically opens the whole conversation.
Should it be like this. In my opinion it would be much better just to send the written massage, and that's it.
What I am experiencing (which is serious) is that when you are connected to a WiFi network (and have constant WiFi scanning on) and then you turn off WiFi, it will NEVER turn off and just keep switching on and off (consuming much battery). The only fix I have found is disabling Constant WiFi scanning, but this is quite important actually if you use Google Now, so has anyone found any alternative solution to this?

Uninstall Facebook update and reinstall it again, try reboot after downgrade and then update.
For Samsung music uninstall and reinstall

They moved the Raw setting in under the picture size setting. Seems that we now can set it on no matter what mode.

True, but enabling that doesn't seem to save pictures as RAW (with or without pro mode). Can anyone confirm?
What happened to being able to change the font color in AOD? With this beta, the font is white whereas before on MM, I had it set to blue. Can't seem to find the setting under Nougat.

It looks like there is no option to choose a color. I hope some Samsung guy reads in this forum, maybe they will apply some stuff from the threads.
I have a problem with localization in camera app. It shows a wrong position or wrong name of the street ,instead in the maps app localization works fine. Anyoneelse have this issue?

Confirm, it looks like a bad bug
Shooting while raw enabled works just fine to me, it does save the dng files. You need to use pro mode though.

Must be some 3rd party app you installed.
It has either "draw over apps" rights (Settings->Security->Draw over apps) or even root rights (if you are rooted).
remove the permissions one by one and reboot to find the culprit app

I hope it's an app but I uninstalled everything I added to the device yesterday and it's still there. It goes on and off periodically. A reboot didn't fix it.
Yellow font 'offline' in a gray bar.
Anyone else seeing this?

Yes... Exact same thing.
I have the same issue on my Pixel XL. Just started about 15 minutes ago. Haven't downloaded any new apps in at least a week.

Can you guys go to settings->developer options: running services and send a screenshot of all running services?
also are you guys rooted?
Also pulling a logcat might shed some light into it.
Well this is both scary and good. It just stopped. If it starts again I'll take screen shots and post.
No I'm not rooted.
Well cancel that... It started again... Incoming requested info.
I'm having this problem on my Pixel XL. As soon as I deleted "Zedge" it went away. I redownloaded it and I am trying to replicate the "offline" message to see if it goes away again when I uninstall Zedge.

@Nsain1 got Zedge installed as well. Wonder how it can draw an overlay though without the "draw over apps permission".
ES File Explorer is also often a goo candidate when it comes to weird ads and such.

I stopped using ES Explorer a long time ago. It's not installed on my phone.
So I uninstalled Zedge and ES Explorer and rebooted. The message is still coming up. I appreciate the suggestions. This is odd for sure.
Not rooted. I wonder what app is causing this, it will notify offline even though i am connected to wifi, and it will not show up if i will turn off wifi.
Zeke125 - By chance you don't have control 4 do you?
Like the title says, if i call someone with google duo, the video freezes of the person i cal..they see me normal. The audio continues ..is it just me or does someone else have this issue to

Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it.
Same issue here. Had it on my Oneplus 6 as well. Didn't have it with my Oneplus 7 pro at first, but after having to reset my phone (for Oneplus customer support) it also occurred on my Oneplus 7 pro, so I think a reset could fix it

Thanks for that hint. I was wondering too about these problems because I never faced it before on OP6.
Like the title says, my brightness slider just disappeared from the notification pull down area. Im running oxygen os 10 with root, twrp, No Limits magisk rom, elemental x 2.0 kernel, and substratum lite mod that changes fingerprint icon. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
I have the same problem, I didn't find a solution yet
what I found out is that the slider reappears when I create another user... so it looks like it's some kind of broken user setting
Could it be your DPI settings? Just throwing something out there...
what version of android

I was able to replicate what you said and it disappears again after switching back to my normal profile. I guess it is a broken system setting that they have to iron out.
It is a permanent one from lsposed and just appeared after an update. Wasn't there before. Cannot be disabled for more than a few days.

i am on 1.8.6 (6721). how do i get the beta? and yes, disabling the notification doesnt really work for more than a few hours.
weird thing is...i did not have the issue before updating to the latest version.
First press Verknüpfung erstellen (Create shortcut) in Settings. That creates a new shortcut on your home screen, you can remove the old one after long pressing it.
When the new shortcut appears, you can disable the status notification. That option is currently greyed out.
i got it...it was greyed out because i didnt clicked the button to generate an app icon. i now did that (already had one but whatever). now i can disable it.
thank you very much guys!
Interesting, but why is it like that?

It's a way to make sure you can open it, cause if the notification is gone (and you didn't make a shortcut), you cannot open it any more.
