Hi,
I recently got my OP8T and migrated from OP6. For some reason, some apps were not installed on the OP8T. For instance, "A** Prime Now" cannot be installed on the device. Play Store says app not compatible with device. I was able to install it from APK transferred from my OP6, bypassing the Play Store. I found some similar posts elsewhere regarding this issue, but no solution.
Oxygen OS 11.0.5.6.KB05BA on the device.
Deleted Play Store cache and data already several times, restarted the device, nothing helped. The device is new and set up from the scratch using Google migration tool.
Any ideas what the issue is, and how to resolve?
Regards,
Z.
You need to complain to amazon. Amazon probably didn't include the 8T on their app compatibility list. But now that you have it installed, you should be able to update it normally.

So my device was listed yesterday in the Google Play store on the website, I did a nandroid, tried a different rom, was having issues so restored my nandroid. Today i
my device doesn't show up on the Google Play Store website... I cleared data/cache on the app and removed updates which forced it to re-upgrade. I can access and install apps via the phone app but still don't see the device on the website?
Any other ideas?
Weird, now it does. Must have been a Play Store glitch? Have noticed a few on and off issues with it lately... and I know some sites like Android Police were reporting that there were some issues.
Lately, 504 errors in the Google Play Store have eliminated my ability to recommend this phone. None of the usual fixes work.
Apps that I've had the problem with are:
Evernote
Runtastic Me (after a recent update)
Waze (version 4)
Maybe it is something the app developers are doing that doesn't work with the hardware, but I'm afraid of what the next app may be that I'm stuck unable to update.
Update: this has been resolved by the latest update from Gionee/BLU
Is it Google Play Store causing the problems (installing/updating apps) or is it the apps you mentioned (crashing, etc.)?
Have you started getting them all of a sudden out of nowhere? I've started to have Google Play Services issues with Google Play Music, but that was after fixing permissions in TWRP.
Maybe something you've done recently caused it (installation, file corruption, root/xposed modding) if TWRP is not the cause.
I'll assume you've already tried to clear app data & caches, and maybe uninstalling/reinstalling them. If nothing else works, you can always resort to a factory reset of the phone if you are willing to give up everything.
I've done everything short of a factory reset. I read where another user had the issue with evernote, so I specifically tried installing evernote to test.
I haven't rooted or used a custom recovery with this phone.
I put this in general more for information purposes and to maybe compile a list of apps others run into this with, but if anyone's fixed it, I'd appreciate knowing what they had to do.
Will try APK or Amazon for offending apps soon.
No luck with Amazon, either, so it isn't a play store issue
Got the same 504 error when installing Waze 4.0.

Even manually installing the Waze 4.0 apk gives a generic "App not installed" error. Perhaps there's an incompatibility with this phone.

I think I've had the same problem before when installing a different (free) app. What I did was Google for an older version of the .apk file, then kept trying to install it to my phone until I found an old enough version that is willing to be installed. I was able to update to the latest version automatically without any problems after that.
Hope that helps!
Looks like Runtastic Pro 6.7 is getting added to the list. It may be some API that developers are using that isn't compiling properly on this phone... I hope it gets fixed
Reply from BLU support is that it is a known issue and an update is in the works.
I heard that something happened during the updates (like for Waze) that is causing issues for people with Mediatek CPU's, it does not seem to be intentional though as a fix seems to be in the works.
You can add app "omnivox" with the same error. Right for me it's omnivox and waze.
There was a recent gionee e8 update that hopefully resolves this and will (also hopefully) be ported to us soon.
Glad they're looking into it but this is really disappointing. Makes me want to finally break down and just get an S7 on T-Mo's payment plan.
Got the same problem here.
Hi guys, i just got the BLU pure XL and happen to me the same thing with waze, plus another app MapaRadar. They both cant install trough Play Store. I try installing old versions (waze 3.4 3.5 3.6 3.7 3.8 ..) only one time works. and then suddenly stopped. and it closes itself every time.
Update got the same 504 error.
I got another problem that after starting using play store to install other apps and update the existing ones (chrome, maps, framework..) the play store become unstable , closing itself most of the time. Since i have TWRP i manage to restore my original backup.
I did not update my apps on the play store. at least it stop to get play store app close itself.
If anyone like to share any alternative options until BLU team fix it.
Hi every body,
I have the Allview X2 xtreme the EU version of the Blu pure XL, and i have the same problem waze update return 504 error. Mine is TWRP and rooted.
I be able to install an older version of waze by apk, works fine for few days, now it's always looking for GPS signal....
Evernote too.
I have another problem with push notification who didnt work with 50% of m'y applications.
It works for :SMS, messenger, Facebook, snapchat but not for apps like instagram le monde, bfmtv, le parisien, le figaro...
I already perform hard reset.
Sorry for m'y English,
A french friend !
I justt flashed the gionee rom, mainly to see how it is for daily use, but also to check the IMEI corruption and mobile data issues (i experienced none of either) and on a whim I tried to install waze, and it installs fine (on the blu firmware I had previously had 504 error, as well had other apps just "app not installed")
so possibly gionee already had a fix for this?
Got an update this morning, and the problem seems to be fixed. Only about a week behind gionee, so not bad.
Afaik, It happens to me (on more than one smartphone, LP and Marshm.) when play store updates itself.
I have tried deleting cache for play store and play services, removing account, rebooting, even resetting play store to factory.
One thing I noticed is that while the app is at 100% it will install right upon closing the play store (meaning out of background).
So I wonder whether this may be a clue on what is causing trouble and how to fix it.

Since this is not how it should work, given the fact that you are having this issue on more than one device, this tells me that the issue isn't with the device or the apps, it is more likely an issue of user error or things that you have modified on your device.
Are you using stock ROM or custom ROM?
Are you using modified Google apps?
Have you tried factory resetting the device itself instead of resetting the Google apps?

I pointed out the fact it happens on more than one (even tablets with 5.1) just to rule out the fact it may depends on a specific device.
But let's talk of a specific device, as right now the problem is persistent on one, running 6.0
It's stock and not rooted. No modified apps.
The only thing I feel worth bringing up to the attention is AppMgr III and that the 2GB SD is used as internal storage (not portable), though reports on available storage are inconsistent (see here).
I observe also a slight higher battery consumption than when things work smoothly, however I can not blame any specific app, I don't see anything (I assume because it's due to something wrong with android itself).
Now, fixing via factory reset is painful but I can't do it every play store update, if that's the case (I assume it will work, as everything used to work very well).
Another thing I may throw in is some problem (?) with nova launcher (prime), but again I didn't any crazy thing, so I go blind about it.
Thanks for your kind attention, ricardo
As a workaround I have been able to seamlessly update apps by entering safe mode. On two different devices.
I don't think I'll ever succeed and work out the reason why it's stuck on normal mode.
Just to tell, the tablet updated playstore on march 3rd. Then on march 10th I turned it back on and there was another playstore update (it says it will be installed), but it never does, and so does it for apps. So I could not have done anything in between, and I can assure I care so much to the (reading) tablet that I just install needed apps and verified and tested on other devices before installing on my tablet. It's definitely a problem with play services (interacting with chinese devices, could it be relevant?)

Hi all
I've been searching on the internet on how to fix this but i can't seem to find a clear answer.
- Several apps crash and some apps report "Unable to register with Google Play Services".
- My device (8T EU) reports in the playstore that my device is not certified.
When looking on how to fix this i came across a way to register your device. Something i needed to do because i'm running lineageOS.
I tried this without succes but the page says that it's registered. Google Play however stayed the same.
Other things i've tried are:
- clearing cache for both Google Service Framework (GSF) and Play Store
- clearing data for both these apps.
None of this seemed to solve the issue.
From reading on the internet i learned that this started happening due to a change google made. That's why custom roms have to register.
Other thing i read: Oneplus is having an issue that's causing this. This article was a year old so i don't know if this is still the case.
So before i try to revert back to stock. Does anyone else have experience with this and if so, how did you solve this?
I'm currently running LineageOS 18.1 (the latest update 4 augutst 2022).

Hello dear community,
I updated my LG G8S to Android 12 yesterday. After the update, an app (Hearthstone) that I installed via the Amazon Store was no longer available (the icon on the desktop was grayed out, it is no longer listed under the installed apps in the system menu). If I now go to the Amazon Store and open the app there, it offers me to install the app. If I press it, it first downloads the app, but then doesn't install it. I guess because he notices during the installation that the data from the app is still there. In the Amazon Store, he then changes from "install" to "update". I press on it, download again, then nothing. Probably because he notices that the update is somehow already there. Then it changes from "update" to "open". If I then want to open the app, it doesn't work, probably because Android doesn't know anything about the installation. Then the Amazon store jumps back to "install".
Hearthstone can no longer be installed via the Google Playstore, because Google probably also checks that something is still there.
Presumably the solution is simply to unload the rest of the app. But since Android doesn't have the app on the screen, it doesn't work with it. So I would have to do it manually somehow, but I'm afraid that I'll miss something if I just delete a few folders. Can you enlighten me on the best way to do this?
I installed the SD Maid app. This actually recognizes an app called "com.blizzard.wtcg.hearthstone". When I try to uninstall the app with SD Maid I get the message "The app was not found in the list of installed apps." The app still remains in SD Maid's list.
thanks in advance
Alex
Run SD Maid Pro edition to remove orphaned files and invalid file entries.
If you aren't on an Amazon device download Hearthstone app ( 24.6.154818 update ) from APKPURE.
Both didn't help. When I try to install fron apk Android shows an error, that it is conflict with an existing package.
Do a Factory Reset, but before backup your tablet.

I created an account here as this has to be the worst recommendation ever, doing a factory reset because one app won't install :/
as for the OPs original question, I ended up here as I have the same problem and I too thought there was something wrong with my installation on my device, tried all kinds of cleanup and nothing worked
and stupid me only then thought to check the blizzard forums.... if you look in the known issues post, they are aware there is a problem with the installation from amazon appstore and are working on a fix

I've been to the blizzard forum of course. There has been an issue, that they told has been solved already, when my problem was still there. So I thought, thats not for me. But yes they posted, that it's solved on saturday and surprisingly it was indeed.
