Radio ZQ8003 - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Hello. I have a problem with my radio. I have a can bus adapter but the steering wheel control does not work properly. Out of the 6 buttons, 4 work and that's not correct. Previously, I had an Audi symphony II radio and there was no problem with the control on it. Or maybe someone had the same problem and solved it?
My car is an Audi A6 C5 2004

Is the unit an MTCD/E?

where to check it?
in the settings i have it

at least 4 buttons are working. i have same device with megane 2 canbus and no one works. no update, no info, no app, nothing. damn chinese manufacturers

Gala (SDVC) app for PX5?

I can`t find a working SDVC app for my PX5 GS unit. It is my second unit because the first has had a fault and was exchanged. On the first unit I used Graser´s Dasaita tool for volume control. On the new unit that isn´t working anymore and also MyMTCService does not recognise the unit as MTCD and so the sound control is not working.
The only thing that is different to the old unit are the connectors. The GPS connector uses now a Fakra plug, but I don´t think that this is a problem since all other GPS apps are working normally.
Neither Malaysk, the original GS ROM nor a HA ROM is working. I've tried also different MCU's.
Here you can see the problem with Grasers Dasaita tool. I am not driving and not changing the volume level: https://youtu.be/aT0asijim5g @Graser maybe you can help me?

PX5 Android head unit no sound

I just bought a Belsee PX5 Octo Core Android Head Unit for my 2016 Hyundai Veloster. It has a custom harness made for the car. It works great, except there is no sound. The backup camera works, the steering wheel controls work. Everything works....except sound. I am trying to work with Belsee via Email, but we all know how that goes. I am wondering if any of you fine people might have any suggestions that I can try.
I have gone into Factory Settings menu and changed the CANBUS to Hyundai &KIA, still no sound. The Veloster requires a signal over the CANBUS to turn the factory Amp on and produce sound.
Thanx in advance.
what did the reseller suggest when you contacted them for support? Was that to change CanBus settings?
Hi, i have the same problem after upgrading from px3... Did you resolve the problem?
I now have sound..had to swap to a harness with a CANBUS controller on it. But, the EQ does not work, the rear speakers are super low, and there is that electrical whine from the engine. But at least there is sound.
Hi I am new here but I also had the same issue with my Nissan qashqai and the Bose system. I have found that on my vehicle in the Belsee power harness that pin 1 was not present which is the 12v positive that feeds the Bose sound system. I would suggest you get a wiring diagram for the cars head unit and check to see if this is the problem.

CAN adapter - Help needed (Mercedes)

Hi All,
I need to find some info for the Can adapter so i can fix my issue and help other people with similar problems too .Owner of an MTCD PX5 unit, specific for Mercedes ML (W164) that came with the Can adapter.
From day one the steer wheel buttons worked (vol up/down, phone) and reverse camera out of the box BUT i had no vehicle info at all (door opened, fuel level, temperature, parking sensors etc) as many of the users especially on VW units have. The car is a 2010 model therefore the canbus info should be plenty. Tried all the combinations of CanBus under the extra settings with no luck.
One think i noticed is that i had NO Vehicle.apk or microntek apk and MTCCanbus.apk installed on the unit. I tried to install but installation was failing for both. Even copying to system/app/** didn't worked.
Any idea ?
BTW Anyone knows what is the Knob Mode under extra settings ? Mine is set to : 2 10k/20K ADC Ports
Details:
Unit: MTCD PX5
MCU: MTCE_GS_V3.00_3
ROM: Halk9 Mod 3.1 (Android 8)
Can Adapter : GS 10280514 / HW:V2 SW:V3
Can adapter Setting: 23 Benz_B200(simple)

Good to know that this is a generic issue and not specific to my unit and car. It seems a lot of people with Mercedes cars have similar problems. I wonder if this is related with the cheap implementation of the Chinese Can adapters or related with the car.
Will keep searching
Another thread is open with more technical details for similar issue, more HW oriented though here > https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-auto/mtcd-discussion-questions-development
I have the same car w164 and px5 android 8
The same problem.
No I have more problems the canbas stop working no reverse camera no Wheel key vol working and no led light on unit key, I think my canbus dead ?

Steering Wheels buttons problem

Hi there:
Car is 2016 Nissan Qashqai J11 TS. I have installed a Wanqi HU Android 8 and after installing my steering wheels buttons stopped working. I changed the Canbus protocol to Xtrail/Qashqai but still unable to make the buttons working. Can anyone recommends me a way to solve this problem?
Best Regards
You should talk to the seller and have him confirm if the canbus is the one that corresponds to your Nissan model...
upload a photo with the code of the can bus, maybe some Nissan user can confirm whether it is correct or not, and in turn that protocol has worked well.
Try this:

If it doesn't work, then probably you have something with can bus reading.

I have a dasaita HA2186-MAX6 that doesn't see a Bluetooth device.

So I have a Rockford Fosgate PMX-BTUR(it's a universal steering wheel remote) but my dasaita doesn't see the remote at all, my Oneplus 7 pro does and it connects and works fine. Any idea of how to remedy this?
The remote doesn't have a pin number, just pair it.
I'm running Hal9k rom not sure if this matters
Mcu is 3.40.1
Maybe I have the wrong bt chipset set in settings? I don't get the chipset and how to find if they work or not.
