Hello everyone,
i have a problem with a Honor 6 from a friend. The phone has an Unlocked bootloader and was rooted.
Then my friend received an Update Notification on the phone and he has done that update. I have said before, that this won't work and it will brick your phone. But i don't know why, he made the Update.
Since then the Phone stucks on bootloader with the "Honor" Logo" AND the LED Notification is blinking first 1 x Red and then 3x in Green. This blinking is repeating 2 or 3 times then only the Honor Logo stays on the screen.
The Phone can access fastboot mode, but not the recovery mode (Volume Up + Power) or the 3-Finger-Mode, to install a stock rom from the sd-card. We have flashed a lot of Roms with the Multitool in the Unbrick Mode, but nothing works, still the same.
Our Problem is:
- We don't know on which version the Phone was before the Update. We know only that it was Kitkat with 4.4.2 and Emui 3.0 --> Maybe this is important for downgrade?
- After the update, he couldn't turn off the phone. So, the phone stayed on until it turned off by itself.
-> When we wanted to enter recovery mode one day later, the screen showed up an Icon with red flash, like the battery was empty.
--> the battery was completely empty because of not turning off -> We charged the battery by connecting the empty battery to another Honor 6 mainboard. After that the icon didn't show up but we still can't enter recovery mode or 3-Finger-Mode.
What can we do now? Every solution would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Until now, i haven't found a solution
works only while charging
seems same is the case with me after updating , it only works when its being charged else only the honor screen and shutting down
me to have same problem
I forgot to say i have an L12.
The only thing that has worked for I have tried is to flashing TWR for emui4.0 from Multitool.
But ROMs and OTAs at this thread are not prepared to be installed via recovery.
I guess I could use an L12 backup to be restored at TWR, if someone can tell me where can I download it.
I want to try everything with stock roms before I try with custom ones.
P.D.: sorry for my bad english.
Finally, I managed to work again.
The steps I followed (keep in mind i have an L12):
Using Multitool -> Unbrick, I extracted the imgs from the B535 ROM
At Stock recovery, I made a factory and cache reset.
I flashed USERDATA from Fastboot
This worked for me.
I hope it helps
i am using l04 and i'm have same problem bro..

yes several times but no luck for me on lolipop it was fine but with the marsmallow it freaked out
So I tried to flash Android Oreo earlier today on Odin and it failed at first so then I switch to an older version of Odin and try again it said past but it only says PASS 00:02.
I booted into recovery and it said Android 8.0 .0 but when I tried turning it on IT said that device update has failed and I needed to use Smart Switch emergency recovery mode.
I return to the original version of Odin I was using, switched the cable switch the USB port and it didn't normal update procedure took 3 minutes 38 seconds and the device went through normal process like update installing, the blue android robot, all the normal stuff , but as of right now it has been stuck on the Samsung logo for 15 minutes maybe I recall from flashing nougat that the phone stays on the Samsung logo for quite a while but 15 minutes seems like a really worryingly long time.
So is it successful and I just have to keep waiting? Or time to go back to the drawing board?
Do you have wiped your data? If not, try this, because maybe the Phone wont boot into 7.0, if Android 8.0 was installed.
If this doesn't work, try the Emergency recovery in Smart Switch.
Hello there. I own a Z3 model D6603. It is unlocked bootloader and Before it had got the bootloop i had Lineage OS 16 custom rom installed on it (Android 9). I was watching some videos on chrome and then the phone heated a little and then restarted. I thouhgt it was maybe some sort of instability but then it started just bootlooping.
Current Status right now is :
Once connected to pc goes to flash mode.
I can get it to fastboot.
When connected to charger just goes into endless bootloop where only SONY logo appears and then quickly restarts
In attempt to fix it I flashed stock FTF using multiple versions of Flashtool which was fruitless. I also Tried with EMMA but nothing helped still. And then after looking I think it might be damaged TA and I've seen so many say that if that's the case then the phone is bricked forever unless you have had a backup from a previous working state which I actually do. The problem is that I don't know how to flash this TA back since the phone doesn't boot to restore it through ADB. I saw that S1tool works with older devices and doesn't work with Z3 models so I wonder if there is a way to fix this. Thank you for your time.
PS : My power button doesn't work I used to use fastboot to boot it when necessary
Issues of that kind may be a hint for a dead battery, this should be ruled out first. Note: In that case your phone might not boot even if connected to a charger!
After that is ruled out, one should try to install LineageOS 16 or later following the official installation routine from scratch.
İ have Z5 (E6603) phone i was using it my secondary phone for maps youtube etc.(cause my daily driver sucks). last week my phone had weird problem while i was using it my phone freeze and shut down itself and after my phone shut down i had 3 blinking light then it restart it self and in main menu same thing happened. it was on stock 7.1.1 with latest update i didn't unlocked the bootloader or didn't installed custom rom. i changed battery yesterday but it didn't changed anything. i tried flash the stock rom with emma , flash tool and sony xperia companion program but it didn't worked either and i don't know what I am supposed to do now.
