I bought this phone for my wife, she's a heavy Instagram user, and the camera was good enough for it.
The problem is she's driving me crazy with complains about videos not uploading to Instagram. She usually records a few videos and upload them to Instagram stories at once to give continuity to her followers. But usually one or two videos are uploaded and then they get stuck. Restarting Instagram might work for uploading on or two more videos, and then get stuck again.
I've tried, with zero success:
* Restarting internet
* Restarting the phone.
* Clearing Instagram app cache.
* Factory reset the phone (more complains because now all the apps are in the wrong order!)
This happens both with WiFi and 4G. My WiFi works perfectly because I can upload as many videos from my phone (Honor View 20) to Instagram as I want with no problems.
Please save my sanity, any ideas?

I was watching videos on youtube via the youtube app, when the video stopped working, but the sound was still playing fine. I did the update through the LG update tool, so I am running GB 2.3.3 and the phone is not rooted ..... anyone else?
and btw, the camera is not displaying live on the screen (just black screen) either (but can take pictures and view them)
yes i used other video players with the same result
I also cleared the cache (no result) .... and did restart the phone, which seemed to fix the problem for couple of minutes.
I wasn't able to find too much info on google about it (that's why I am posting here) .... and yeah, I am aware of the problems G2x had/has ...
Hi all,
I've had this issue for several weeks since upgrading to Lollipop, I cant record videos using the camera, I get a force close when I switch to video mode. I cant play back videos that I have on the phone.
Pictures work fine.
I get a "Camera not available" when trying to record a video using snapchat.... again, pictures work fine.
When I play a snapchat video I get the audio but only a black screen.
On Facebook I get a "Cannot play video" message, and on youtube I get "There was a problem while playing".
When I wipe the cache through recovery everything works for a short period, maybe a few hours, then goes back to errors and force closes again.
My current build is below, however I was running 23.1.A.0.690 up until Friday, I changed hoping that it would fix the problem but it didnt.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
Build
Camera not available this issuse you got when other app is using camera in that moment, some app it does use it.
Also i assume you have skype, facebook, snapchat, instagram and this things, basicly all of them can access your camera, and once that its in use, the other one will report "camera not available"
There is some app to make log what access your camera, when i remember the name i will report it to you.
For now, "force close" all apps which might use camera
Hi !
I searched but couldnt find my problem.
I recently updates to Android 7 with Rogers version. Every since then, I am having problem playing any type of video. It will work then for some reason it won't. Phone gets sluggish, I have to restart but sometimes the problem is still there.
When I can't play videos, I can't play any and I get no error message, the video just never loads and freezes the phone until I force quit the app.
The problem impacts all videos : Snapchat, Instagram, Videos have recorded, videos in Chrome, and even gifv.
I cleared the system cache but that didn't do much.
Does anyone have a solution or a similar problem ?
Thanks !
You have facebook messenger installed? That may be the problem as it is mine and another person's.

Hello,
I paid 990 euros on this Huawei P30 Pro back in June. I am very very disappointed by this phone. It is an awesome and powerful phone but there are these small things that make me regret buying it.
The biggest and annoying issue is when i send videos on facebook messenger to my friends. Randomly, sometimes, after the video is uploaded and sent to my friend , let's say a 20 seconds video, i can see it and play it totally normal, but the other party( my friend or the people from the group) will see the video as it is 0:01 seconds long and if they press play on the video..the image moves for 1 second, but after this, the image gets stuck and the video continues until it reaches 20 seconds.
Yesterday, a friend with a Huawei P20 Pro sent me a 40 seconds long video and guess what. After 00:33 the image stuck and the audio continued for 7 more seconds.
This is definitely a problem and Huawei should work together with Facebook App developers and fix the issue.
Also, if i uploaded stories on facebook, the resolution is bad. It looks like the videos were recorded using an 6 years old phone.
In this thread you can see more people that are having this issue. FACTORY RESET DOESN'T FIX THE ISSUE !

I am very, very dissapointed by this phone.
I tried clearing the cache of the app, wiping the cache partition, nothing seems to fix the issue.
I complained to Facebook and to Facebook Messenger ( no answer so far), huawei does nothing to fix the issue.
After the software update from August, Wi-Fi Calling is not working on my phone anymore.
So, besides the fact that i don't recommend to anyone to buy this phone, does someone have any ideea how can i fix this issue?
Using messenger lite works totally perfect but Messenger Lite ruins the quality of audio/video of the video clip.
Video Lag/Out of Sync - First it pauses for 2 sec then resumes but the video is out of sync with the audio. What's going on?
This happens on all videos online, from Youtube to videos on Reddit.
Here's what I've done to try to solve this. All failed.
1. Turn off / Turn back on. Restart.
2. Used apps to clean phone. Boost.
3. Uninstalled a bunch of apps, files.
4. Cleaned cached of all apps.
5. Used CCCleaner Pro (Paid)
6. Uninstalled, Reinstalled Youtube, cleaned cached.
7. Made sure I have a lot of space. (Over 50% available)
8. Used Safe Mode (fixed the problem, problem gone) so...
9. I did the following reset:
--Reset All Settings
--Reset Network Settings
--Reset Accessibility Settings
(But I did not do a Factory Data Reset)
10. Made sure I got great data, WIFI signal.
All of the above failed. Problem persists. What's going on? It's very annoying. Videos are out of sync with their audio.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 10. I am from Canada.
have you tried playing a video from storage and see if it still out of sync

It's not really video from the phone but video from ONLINE. None of the youtube, netflix videos work. they are all out of sync.
upload a video of the issue

Hint: Add Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to front of this thread's title thus mainly owners of this phone get addressed.
