MBN files - Pixel 4a 5G - Google Pixel 4a Questions & Answers

Like a fool, I managed to brick my brand new Pixel 4a 5G (I know...) Really need to extract MBN files to flash the device and get the fastboot capability back.
Anyone aware of a way to do this? Or have done this already?
I will be eternally grateful.

Update:QXDM Pixel 3 limited success (help)

I've got limited success using this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2-xl/how-to/guide-qxdm-port-activation-pixel-2-xl-t3884967
And following my own guide from pixel 1 here
https://redd.it/9k5x0z
Basically, use the first post and install his magisk and then his module.
Go to my post and utilize the bottom portion just after hitting adbshell (use all commands from adb shell on and follow instructions)
https://mt-tech.fi/en/modify-sony-xz-xzs-xz-premium-and-xz1-lte-a-band-combos/
I get port 6618 showing up but can't do anything after that. I'm wondering if it's because we need more recent drivers (old ones I used for pixel don't seem to work- Mi5)
Can somebody help me out?
I want to try and flash different mbn files to get wifi calling working .
Update here
managed to flash op magisk from first linked thread
installed module from first link
Typed into command prompt:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config rndis,diag,adb
(can only do above if phone is connected as mtp)
windows now shows com 4 port and qpst recognizes it but says no phone?
Anyone?
Hi. Did you have any success after that breakthrough?
I can’t really use Pixel 3 without VoLTE.
Do you need any kind of help?

I've got all drivers installed and am able to get qpst to recognize my phone. Pdc tool still wont register my phone in spite of my diagnostic port being open.
Not much we can do about volte with just qpst. We need pdc tool , too so that we can flash a different mbn. Not sure what else to do

So, what’s the difference between Pixel 3 and Pixel 2 in this case? Pixel 2 was a success as far as I know.

Aside from specs, perhaps file system? I tried the pixel 2 method but haven't had any success flashing mbn files. Qpst works fine but again, that isn't gonna help with what I wanna do.

recovery.img for T-mobile oneplus 7 pro

i have looked everywhere.
i am trying to find the stock recovery for oneplus 7 pro
- t-mobile version (if required)
10.0.1 oos
Honestly this phone has been the worst experience ever.
From t-mobile not allowing me access to files to fix my device, to forums being dead, sluggish and from several developers not caring about the issues others experience. to a single phone with 7 different variations. and the one I'm stuck with has 0% help.
ive seen multiple request for these files to go look and see "nvm i just flashed international rom..."
honestly it should be illegal for companies to not provide these files.

That is because you are looking for something that does not exist. This phone doesn't have a recovery partition. On A/B partition devices, the recovery resides on the boot.img partition (along with kernel and ramdisk). The A/B partition scheme is very confusing if it is new to you (as it is to a lot of folks). You can possibly fastboot flash the stock boot.img partition, depending on what exactly you are trying to accomplish.
I don't buy carrier branded phones anymore, for some of the reasons you are experiencing. Converting the T-Mob 7 Pro to be "international", seems to be a pretty popular thing.
This device is far from being "dead" the most common thing to do with the T-Mo version is to flash the international ROM. The only thing people do on the T-Mo ROM is to SIM unlock, thus allow bootloader unlocking, then go right back to the international ROM.

i have had to many issues with international that i msm back to tmobile.
i just didnt want to lose everything over an over doing this when things go wrong
i believe i have dumped the boot.img
i just hope it works when i do need it again.
Here's what I did whenever T-Mobile update to Android 10.0.1 I downloaded the OTA Update from off the internet then extracted it on my desktop then I used the payload-dumber-win64 to get the recovery and boot.img to use Incase I needed them. I used the extracted boot.img from the payload-dumber-win64 and followed instructions on how to use magisk patcher to patch my own boot.img. search Google for the T-Mobile update then use the tools to extract the whole thing.

How to flash every partition and do a full image installation?

Hello, Recently I discovered that my Pixel 3 XL couldn't use widevine L1. And I did some research and they said it's probably the persist.img. (Thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-3-xl/how-to/widevine-l1-t4183011 ).
And today comparing my pixel 3 XL with my pixel 3 a I found out that my Pixel 3 XL doesn't have secure boot enabled and doesn't have NOS- production (idk what they mean but looks pretty important).
What I'm asking is if anyone could tell me how to correctly flash my device to get those back (and hopefully get widevine L1?). So far I've used Google website flash tool, if I'll have to use adb can someone tell how to do it exactly?
Ty.

Repair ROG Phone 5S through edl firmware, no need to unlock Bootloader to modify COUNTRY CN to WW
Success is disgusted by some people, and will not share any files for free in the future.
forum.xda-developers.com
This thread by johnny886 has the entire firmware files. Follow the video in the first post so you minimize any issues.
You will need to download a few drivers.
I also posted some stuff related to any issues on a few of my threads and on johnny886 thread.
I hard bricked my phone, and managed to fix my phone only using his files.
Other people posted firmware threads as well but it isn't complete like this one is. The others are missing major components to actually fix the phone. The other threads also do not have software to save your phone imei, which if you don't save and you try to install firmware on your phone. You could end up permabricking your phone and no one can fix it at that point. This is because the phone doesn't have a serial or a lot of identifying information, so it will refuse to load the firmware.

No firmware package is incomplete, but some of the older EDL restore packages don't have all the files to perform a full restore. There is a difference between flashing raw firmware and performing an EDL restore.
Raw firmware is like reinstalling Windows. It's a factory reset with the factory image. This fixes most OS issues, such as deleting important files.
EDL restore is like flashing the BIOS. It formats all of the partitions and does a clean install as if the phone never had any firmware at all.
It's important to know the difference, since flashing raw firmware is far less dangerous and much easier. It might be worth asking what the problem is before jumping right to EDL restore.
<Moderator Edit>: Post edited. I will PM you as to why shortly.
My rog phone 5s pro was hardbrick because I Flash the wrong firmware like rog phone 5 raw file.. then my phone detect on my pc only on edl mode qualcomm not turning on.. after few hours of research I revive my phone if someone softbrick rog phone 5 series.

Question No Auth Firehose?

Hello guys, I'd like to ask if Poco X3 Pro will ever get a Patched (No Auth) Firehose file?
I'm not new to modding however it has been a couple of years since I last installed custom roms on my phone (Way back Android 6.0 days) and based on experience, unbricking has always been easy and accessible.
But with my new Poco X3 Pro, I read that Xiaomi requires Authorized Account when flashing with EDL. I've seen in some forums that some managed to patch the Firehose (Loader) file of other Xiaomi devices. Hence, I'm asking if there would ever be a possibility that someone could patch a Firehose file to bypass Auth.
I also looking for the patched
prog_ufs_firehose_sm7150_ddr.elf
the original (non patched) file is attached
prog_ufs_firehose_sm7150_ddr
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

This kinda confused me a bit after downloading the official firmware. As far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) our device should be SM8150 (not sure if it is SM8150AC) but I'm confused as to why it ks SM7150 in the firmware of our device.
But regardless, it would be nice if someone is able to modify the firehose file to no longer require authorization when it comes to flashing through edl.
It would be nice to save a lot of bricked Poco X3 Pros in the community without having people be at risk of getting scammed by "people with auth accounts."
Via hex-mode we can see in the elf file:
IMAGE_VARIANT_STRING=SDM855LA
OEM_IMAGE_VERSION_STRING=c5-xm-ota-bd031.bj
QC_IMAGE_VERSION_STRING=BOOT.XF.3.0-00571-SM8150LZB-4
just found our files here

but no success with them yet
and all elfs there are identical

I've been really busy with school lately and can't really focus efforts on understanding the programmer file, let alone patching them. Wish someone would take a dip into patching it (which is difficult as the flash tool checks for the signatures of the programmer file).

This is 64-bit arm ELF static stripped executable with vxworks RTOS signature, maybe it executed in that OS. It will be rather hard to understand how it works. I think firstly you need to get symbols names from vxworks symbol table, which is included in firehose, according to binwalk output
But still there can be firehose verification on the phone side(likely there is, because I cant load edited firehose with one edited byte in one of strings)

it depends on the exact case. For ex. if integrity of low-level systems such as chain loaders is broken, you MUST flash all this things in edl mode and then you will be able to boot to fastboot and flash other components
.
I need patched firehose (without auth account) for x3 nfc.
