the boot.img file was loaded into my phone in order to get root after that it could not detect imei numbers. Although they are in fastboot. I tried many different firmwares for this phone, but there is no result! I ask for your help. I was left without communication (sorry for not being very clear. The first thing you want to do is STOP FLASHING random images. It sounds like you are going to cause more harm than good if you keep going.
Figure out which firmware you started on (WW, EU, CN) and get the raw firmware for it. Follow the instructions to flash the raw firmware.
If that doesn't work, then you may need to contact the manufacturer, BUT at least you will be restored to stock. I cannot promise they will help you, but it sounds like you did more than flash a boot image. The IMEI is not stored there.

Tell me where you can find the pure CN firmware? This phone was presented to me in this form already. And they told what happened to him. I doubt that ASUS support will help me, since in addition to everything according to the owner, the EMMCCDL_GUI utility was used. So I ask for help from knowledgeable people here.
And most importantly, what to flash and how?

It was opened. This is not an option either
If you purchased it used and the seller refused a return, it sounds like they were trying to recover what they could by selling their problem to someone else. It's likely they knew there wasn't a self-service fix right now.
Just to be clear, what you need is a low-level EDL restore. As it stands, one of the files required is not available to the public. If you have a local repair shop, they may be able to do it (and will likely charge a fee).
Do NOT pay someone over the internet. It CANNOT be done remotely.

May I ask, this phone can unlock bootloader for only one time?
In my country several importers sell Tencent ww flashed.
I think they relocked bootloader after ww flashed, so those phones are unable to unlock bootloader again?
(I read here no free/public edl unbrick available yet.)

One of the major risks of buying a converted model is the risk that the bootloader cannot be unlocked. Currently, there is no workaround for it.
Added the VO(Data) threads to the QA post, even though results vary. These threads have some of the most traffic for the device.
It will be interesting to see how much actually changes in the 5s.
Until the information is proven to be different, no separate sections will be added. Please remember to double check things are compatible before flashing anything meant for a different generation.
Thank you, Just stumbled upon this amazing thread!

I just found this and im kind of confused where to look, im really sorry for the annoyance im just so lost :/
I attempted to convert my t-mobile oneplus 9 to international firmware by first flashing the Indian firmware.
I mistakenly downloaded the oneplus 9 PRO Indian msm.
I didn't realize this as the file has a very similar name. Lemonade_22.I.07_210412 vs Lemonadep_22_I.07_210412
I've tried everything since then, with no success. I tried to flash the correct oneplus 9 indian msm but it says incorrect device.
So I'm stuck with the oneplus 9 pro Indian firmware and can't get back to indian oneplus 9 firmware....
I have been developing and flashing android devices since the early days of Cyanogenmod... dozens of devices. And guess what? I did EXACTLY the same thing as you.
The link I downloaded from said it was Oneplus 9 firmware, and given the filenames being virtually identical, I never noticed it was the Oneplus 9 PRO firmware.
So don't feel too bad. Even experienced people can make mistakes when trying to flash phones!
I am working on a solution, but so far no luck because:
1. Msm Tool will not flash the Oneplus 9 firmware as it thinks it is the incorrect device (why did it let us flash the incorrect device firmware before???)
2. The bootloader is re-locked and the OEM Unlocking feature is greyed out in Developer options, therefore fastboot can't be used to re-flash the correct firmware.
3. The System Update "local upgrade" feature does not find ZIP files in the root folder and will not allow us to browse to the correct file.
So for now, we are stuck. I think solving #3 will be the solution. If we can make the "local upgrade" work, we should be able to flash the stock firmware ZIP.
@Derek6091 @mightysween did you fix it yet? I had my device screw up so bad today that the only MSM I could use on my global unit was the Indian 9 Pro firmware and I have gotten my device mostly working.
You can see my drama with it and how I finally got it working here.

I can get it working with 11.2.10.10 but not OOS 12, in OOS 12 the touchscreen doesn't work and it shows dual SIM icons so it's still doing something that makes it think it's a foreign variant. I ended up just going back to StagOS where I was before everything got mucked up.
Unfortunately the MSMs still see it as an Indian variant so I can only flash the Indian OP9P firmware to it, tried all the other MSMs and none work. I have been reading threads here and people claim they got it back to global but I tried all of the suggestions and none of them restored the device enough to where the global MSM Tool didn't see it as an Indian model and refuse to flash so I think we are stuck with this frankendevice.

You have to use the Oppo Decrypter tools. Decrypt the OPS file and open settings.xml. At the bottom of it there's a Target area. I just edited that to IN instead of O2 and re-packed it.

I tried it with the T-Mobile MSM but it still failed on "unsupported target". Did you only change the text value for O2 to IN, or did you need to change the numerical Target ID as well?
I am pretty content leaving this phone on StagOS anyway, but would be nice to figure out a way to return to T-Mobile stock after recovering from a brick.

Manually flashing partitions in Fastboot does work, FYI. So it is possible to go back to stock that way once the bootoader is re-unlocked.
I wonder where the "target" data is stored on the actual device. If it is simply a numerical/text value in an accessible partition, seems like it would be pretty easy to make a TWRP flashable that can change it.

Strange that it didn't work for you. That was indeed all I changed. Did you change it to what the unsupported target message said your device was? I was comparing the settings between India and global and besides the change of target ID, the target number on India was 3 instead of 1. No idea if that makes a difference though because I didn't try it.
You made sure to re-encrypt and replace the OPS, right?
Also yeah you can flash with fastboot, it doesn't fix that flag though and when I tried to go back to OOS 12 with the messed up flag it thought my device was a dual SIM device so there was no signal and the touchscreen didn't work. Happened twice. With the modified MSM I went back to global and am running OOS 12 right now.

Yea i tried that with
[OnePlus 9][ROM][OTA][Oxygen OS] Repo of Oxygen OS Builds
As OnePlus doesn't always provide download links for all of their OxygenOS ROMs & OTA update zips, we've created an index to put the links in one post so that they're easy to find. Note: This is not a support thread for issues you may have with...

hi, i updated my phone to MIUI 13.0.3 android 12 and i've noticed a bug that made all the apps that are using the camera like instagram and snapchat take blurry pictures like an effect getting applied to the pictures taken by those apps (everything normal in my stock camera app) so i decided to use MiFlash tool to flash the previous android version on my phone but i bricked my phone instead i flashed a global rom while my phone is the chinese market version and accidently checked the ClearData+lock Device check box in MiFlash. the tool flashed the rom successfully but when the phone restarted it showed me a message saying that this rom cannot be installed on this device in recovery mode i couldn't do anything after cuz the bootloader got locked too T i tried everything to unlock it (mtk Client - bootloader unlocker+ adb fastboot + Xiaomi Unlock app ...). please help me is there any way i can fix my phone and what is the righ Rom to flash on my phone (Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G China (21091116C - Pissarro). thnx
friend I'm not a star I tell you how things are 1) you can't go back with another Rom only china 2) anti-roll-back 3) MiCloud you have to disable it you can try MiflashV2 there is also to unlock the bootloader it does everything even the firmware remember if the firmware does not start. important not only china also not china for updates remember first you do the factory reset put google account do not update any app except google drive backup with drive if it has arrived update it is better by setting the time instead of downloading the package the problem is when the update occurs it fails to close all active apps and then there is MiCloud that blocks. Best wishes and good luck and that I have little time for me too much trouble here in Europe.

currently my phone is stuck at the logo and after seconds it loads Fastboot automatically i cant access the phone os to do anything i used the xiaomi bootloader unlocker app that works online but it didnt work . the local cell phone service shops told that they have to open the phones back case to fix it ... i dont want that i've just bought the phone didnt even use it for a whole month
they don't have to open it they use licensed or dongle software (USB type) currently I use unlocktoll.net but if the phone is under warranty and you haven't removed the bootloader before it is better for you. It is possible that others have the same problem as you. Good luck

Rule number 1 for Xiaomi never flash anything on Mediatek devices, it will fail. If messed up, no way back as Xiaomi locks the devices for autorized service providers or local Xiaomi branches only. If you want to play with Xiaomi custom roms/development/etc. related only buy Snapdragon based devices.
I i.e. learned it the hard way, when this all started with the Redmi Note 8 Pro, I bricked it by flashing twrp in Android 11 and Xiaomi didn't want to repair it, so I had to pay some russian guy to fix it via Teamviewer with a modified unlock tool which was able to answer the unlock requests by pasting the answer manually from a generator. It's not like I messed up at a point, it's just that Mediatek devices easily fall in a unrecoverable state. In my term it was the combination of Android version and twrp. You will note there is no Mediatek support on xda and even when your device is named like a Snapdragon version, your device is offtopic here, because trying anything on it beyond unlocking the bootloader is harakiri
how to unlock my bricked Redmi Note 11 Pro 5g (Chinaissarro) Bootloader
Congratulation. Brick without unlocked BL :/
my opinion: you are done....
Some Xiaomi devices have pins on motherboard to
switch EDL, but i dont know with this device.
Try complaint and say something like: "my phone was upgraded and then i see only logo"

rule #1 with Xiaomi - bootloader is unlocked
Hi, guys, I am really needing help.
I have bougth a chinese android tablet model tb128fu. I was worried with the safety of the tablet's ROM, I was suspecting it was a shop ROM. So, I downloaded LMSA (Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant) to flash an another ROM (even I have read in LMSA app that flashing ROM mustn't be done in chinese devices - I was very stupid) and it bricked my tablet. Tablet entered into a reboot mode loop: any chosen option was conducting to lenovo's logo and, after it, reboot menu again.
I have posted a question about it here in forum and people suggested to use ROM2box app. I tried to use it and I think it would solve my problem, but during ROM flashing in ROM2box my pc turned off (due to a residencial blackout) and now my tablet is completely died. VOL UP and DOWN and power off buttons are not working, and the screen doesn't show anything, in any situation (even during battery charging).
Please, help me!!! I think I have lost my tablet.
In PC's devices manager tablet is showed as Qualcoom HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3). Does it help anything to solve my problem?
I have also tried to flash some chinese ROM in tablet using QFIL, but all times it shows the follow error:
"Download Fail:Sahara Fail:QSaharaServer Failrocess fail"
I am thankful anyway. Thank you for your attention.
Re-flash tablets Stock ROM.
BTW:
Tablet isn't hardbricked but softbricked, IMO
With the "hardbrick" usually a part of the low-level firmware is damaged, e.g. the bootloader, the "radio firmware" or other firmware, which is necessary for the operation of the SoC (System-on-Chip). To re-install this firmware, special hardware (usually JTAG) is required, as well as expert knowledge and corresponding image files are often not publicly available (at least not officially). It's like "shooting" the BIOS/EFI on a PC.
With a "softbrick," only the operating system is damaged, e.g. the Android kernel or the system libraries. You can reflash the device.

Ah, ok. I am really sorry for my mistake. It's clear now what is the difference between hard and soft brick.
May you help me to reflash my device? I have no idea how to do that.
Thank you for you reply
