[Guide] Xposed on CLT-L29

Then from MAGISK install the Xposed module
Make sure you install XposedInstaller_3.1.5-Magisk.apk from https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268.

Glad to hear xposed work though.
You might want to add this info in main post :
Install NoDeviceCheck from xposed installer. So at least some app will still working even when safetynet is broken.

It normally broken when you root your phone. But Magisk prevent that.
But then, when you install xposed. It will broken again. And stay like that doesnt matter what you do.
A broken safetynet can prevent you from using several kind of app. Mostly financial or banking app. And game, like the famous PokemonGO :laugh:

I need help.I tried install the xposed,but my mobile (huawei p20lite) when I do reboot my mobile is infinity(is loop reboot) all time.Please I need help for resolve this error please.

For use Xposed in your phone. you need download the correct .ZIP for the processor of the fone you can see this inf. whit CPU-Z

My mobile my huawei has android 8.0 emui 8.0
Processor arm64bits 8 cores I download
V90 sdk26 arm64bits beta1 and V90 sdk26 beta 3 doesn't work anything
Please help me

Anyone can confirm working modules? Viper4android is a no go for me and only the 180 rotation is working with gravity box.

Hi !
I installed Xposed via 3 methods (to try each possibility):
-via Magisk Download
-via XposedInstaller315
-via TWRP/Recovery
In all cases all seems to be fine, XposedInstaller shows a green Status Icon and correctly tells the Xposed version.
BUT my desired App (App2VR) shows "Xposed disabled" when starting.
Also 2 other xposed apps i tried (sensor disable & wake up on charge) do not work.
What i am doing wrong ?
OR is P20Pro / 8.1 not fully supported ?

Root with Magisk Working

I was able to root my pixel 4 xl using the latest Magisk canary build of the manager 7.4.0-121afbed
Hopefully you have already unlocked your bootloader but if not do that and it will reset your data
Download the factory image and extract boot.img
Patch boot.img with Magisk Manager
flash magisk_patched.img with fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img

Yep, just finished rooting and activating my Google Pay. Looking good so far.
Only thing to hope for now is TWRP and some custom ROMs, even though the only thing left that I use would be center clock and network speed in the status bar.

I get this error!! Do you know why??

Uh oh.... Freaking out here.
Wont boot properly. Followed all instructions in the other thread. It takes me back to fastboot mode repeatedly, with the error underneath "Boot slot: a", saying "Enter reason: error booting boot.img". I unlocked the bootloader before doing anything. Tried going into rescue mode, but it just takes me back to fastboot mode.
What do? How fix?

NEVER MIND! Worked it out. On my initial flash of the patched file, I mistyped 'patched' as 'patchad'. Idiot mistake. Works perfectly! :victory:

Google pay Doesn't work.........

at the store pin pad terminal; ever since i had the phone restored using the [TOOL] 6T MsmDownloadTool v4.0.59.....
Is there something i did wrong when it was flashing?
Did i miss something?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes but that would give me the issues while opening or adding the card to Google pay.

Is safetynet passing in Magisk? That might be the issue cause iirc, the 10 Beta for OOS doesn't have passing safetynet, but I could be wrong

Yup....this is so weird.....

Magisk Hide after update

I flashed the .95 update with some trouble. After the update, rooting, getting r/w access and debloating, Magisk shows that I no longer pass safety net. I have the Magisk Hide option selected.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone else find a solution?
Everything seems to be working.

Had the same problem, fixed it by following the steps on this link. Bit of a pain but it worked.
PS - Make sure you scroll down to the "Update" solution on this link, that's what worked for me.

I used the update tool from Motorola to download the ROM. Then used fastboot to flash it in pieces. Then installed Magisk and rooted. Then got r/w access. Then used "pm" to debloat. It wiped everything except the sdcard but my Titanium backups were on the card. It took me most of the day to do all of this and put in my passwords.

I probably won't update.

CAN'T PAY ON GALAXY NOTE 8 STORE BECAUSE IT'S ROOTED

I want to buy something from the Galaxy note 8 Store, but when I try to pay it says "Can't use credit card. Rooting detected. Use another payment method." and then I click ok and it loads the payment screen where you can choose another payment method, but a popup shows over it with: "Error. No payment method available" so I can't buy anything.
Please help out.

Use a phone whose Android isn't rooted or remove root from Android on mentioned phone.

what version of magisk are you on? if 24 and above, refer to THIS tutorial, if v23 or below, just use MagiskHide

Can you try flashing magisk uninstaller zip? That should unroot your device, then you reflash magisk, do everything then use magisk hide again, then payment app will work

Taking the phone back to its original firmware is usually the best way to unroot your Android phone. There are no ifs or buts here. Regardless of your device, ROM, kernel, or recovery, it will work.
