I'm guessing they're a bit slow since the picture still shows an S3 and says:
Galaxy S3 pictured above. S4 picture will be updated as soon as it's released.

And they still don't have an S4 picture lol
I just got mine today. Sems to work fine. Fits under the original cover find. Although I feel it slightly (ever so slightly) buldges outward since when I put the phone back flat on a counter it can rock slightly, so that confirms its buldging outward. The charging thing is fine, although it didn't come with an adapter its just a USB cord that goes to a DC power (round) jack into the charging mat. So the USB part just goes into your existing charging adapter.

Got mine today. Works well, simple install but I do notice that NFC no long works. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Mine didn't work when I just tested it, had some Samsung Tectiles sitting around.
Then took off the Qi receiver and it worked. Put the Qi receiver back on but made sure it was pushed as far left as possible while still on the contacts. Put the cover back on, and tested it again and it worked!
So I think the Qi receiver if not positioned properly is affecting the NFC antenna which is on the battery. Its basically covering a good portion of the battery.

I tried it, didn't work. I even slid the tectile under the receiver to see if it was covering the NFC antenna. Still nothing.
Have you tried just to remove the Qi receiver and put the cover back on and test it to make sure there isn't something else? If it works without the Qi receiver then it has go be the Qi receiver is blocking the NFC antenna too much.

I can get it to work with no Qi receiver, but no matter how I try to adjust the NFC tag or Qi receiver I'm getting nothing.
I'll keep playing with it to see if I can get it working. Thanks for the info. I'll post back if results change.
Yea the design of this Qi receiver wasn't done with NFC in mind since it blocks a good portion of the battery.
My NFC tag works with this wireless charger receiver installed. Reads tag just above the galaxy s4 logo
Has anyone gotten tasker to recognize the wireless charging?
Also, I've tried multiple different ways with NFC and tectiles. Nothing works. It's as if the Qi receiver is disrupting the NFC capabilities.

Anyone had any issues with this charger? By that I mean for the past few days since Ive got it I feel there is some flaw/issue with this.
It charged wirelessly just fine upto about 96-97%, no issues, then around that time (normally for me like 3-4am) it starts beeping. What I notice is that the charging mat goes has the green charging light go out, then come back on, causing the phone to beep saying "Charging Wirelessly" and it keeps doing this constantly every 30-60secs. It gets so annoying that I have to take it off the mat as I cant sleep with it constantly beeping. I tried to readjust the Qi receiver to make sure it wasn't the problem, still same thing. Tried using a different usb charger (instead of S4 supplied one, an iphone one since its a 1000mah one and not 2000mah one like the S4) and it still did the same thing.
Ive never had the charging mat show the FULL light.
Maybe I got a defective one. Not sure if the mat is defective or the receiver. Ive got a video of this as well (maybe send this to vivealive).

Mine only does that when the phone isn't placed properly on the charging pad.
I also have never seen the full light.

Count me in in not seeing the Full Charge indicator. I have emailed monsterwatts but haven't had any response. I've also had the same issue with the charger beeping regularly after it hits 100%. Not sure but might be returning this --if they ever respond.
Heres my video of what happens constantly starting at the 96% mark. After 5mins at 4am I just pull the damn thing off the charging mat. Sorry had to blur the screen, Im anal about that.

Mine has charged to 100% every time. I've been using it on the Google N4 charger though and not the charger it ships with.
Well woke up this morning to a dead phone. I woke up around 3am wondering why my phone hasn't beeped, so I turned the screen on, wouldn't turn on, Im like wtf? So I turned the phone on, and put it back on the mat. Fell asleep again, woke up at 8am and same crap. Both times the green charging light been on.
So then just hard plugged the phone in and it was charging, for some reason this time it refused the charge. This mat/receiver isn't looking too good for me now.

I'm getting the exact same thing. Its possible the charge mat is designed to trickle charge at 96% onwards. The phone may interpret this as being removed and then replaced on the charge mat.

Wireless charging seems flaky at best. Sometimes, it works like a champ. Sometimes, my phone will stop charging, start charging, stop charging, start charging, etc. until I get annoyed, pick it up, and put it back on the charger. I left it on the charger overnight and found it at 87% this morning. I don't know if it wasn't charging properly that whole time, or if it got to 100% and then just stopped charging. Any tips on this? Anyone else having similar issues?
FYI - this is the Samsung charging pad and the phone with no case or anything on it.
No issues here. Work flawlessly
I'm also having the issue with wireless charging starting and stopping. My charging pad, however is an ebay qi pad. Seems very position dependent on both of the pads I was using successfully with my S3.
The behavior is that it will start charging, then 10 seconds to a minute later stop. Then start....then stop...
S6
I have the sony charging pad and I've noticed my S6 stops charging when I get any kind of notification...
No issues here
you shall use 2A chargers to be effective.
I do. I have an official Samsung 2A charger with an official Samsung USB cable attached to an official Samsung wireless charger.
I haven't paid attention to it throughout the day, but I did notice that if I place my phone on the wireless charger it seems to charge to 100% and then it will stop charging. I know a few nights ago the samsung puck was green when I fell asleep but in the morning when I woke up I was down to 92%. I will be taking the wireless charger with me to work tomorrow so I will know for sure if it stops charging at 100% or if it does what you are describing.
Both my gf and I bought our Galaxy s6 edge on release day at Bestbuy and with the preorder the wireless chargers we're included free. The past 2 nights both of our phones have had this issue. Mine only charged to 87% yesterday and 93% today. Hers was at 88% yestwrday and 96%today.
I'm curious if the wireless charger takes a much longer time to completely charge the device to 100%.
For me better wireless charger than wire... I think I've better battety life.
With wireless charging I use wire charger included.

Thats makes sense but I've my wireless charger next to be bedside table and I was woken up but the charger plugged in notification sound constancy going off.
It would be really great to turn those sounds off. Also, you have to assume that there's some battery level where it will restart wireless charging, right?

This is what I was hoping for when I said above that I saw it hit 100% and then overnight it drained to 92%. I would hope that if it falls below 97% or so that it would charge again to 100% so it keeps cycling but right now I am not sure if it does it.
I've noticed the exact same problem with mine. I got the free Samsung official wireless charger from Best Buy. The phone charges to 100% every night but when it finishes, usually around 3 or 4 a.m., it just stops charging and doesn't start again. So this means that every day when I wake up my phone has drained to around 90%. This never happened with my Nexus 5 on a generic wireless charger. It always kept it topped up until I remove the phone. This is really annoying.
BTW if you go into the settings menu under battery, you can see exactly when your phone stopped charging.

that sounds like the best reason untill i hear anything more concrete, might try charging tonight direct via the cable and see if it hits 100%
but with no replaceable battery they may have introduced this to prolong the life of the battery.
I totally get not overcharging. But it's got to kick back on at some point. Leaving your phone on a charger overnight should basically guarantee 100% in the morning. Maybe at 97% it could kick back on, or at 100%, it could go into a trickle mode. I'm sure some custom development will come along and fix this problem.
Here's hoping for an update or something through soon. Gonna test a full charge before tonight and see if it actually states it reaches 100%
I'll post what I find.

I have the S6 and 3 weeks ago I noticed my NFC is not working on the phone. The toggle wouldn't activate the chip and it was deemed broken on the motherboard by Samsung and had the NFC chip replaced. Now 5 days later, I have the same issue.
I believe the cause of it is a 3rd party wireless charger as shown in the pictures. I think somehow it may be causing problems for the NFC chip. Samsung being the scumbags they are will not give me a new S6 and demand that it be repaired 3 times before they even think about replacing it. If you use one of these chargers, I recommend you check to see if your NFC still works.
Is anyone else's NFC broken this way or is this just likely a lemon?
NFC broken, but I wasn't using a charger.

My NFC stopped working a few days ago, before that, it was intermittent, and would not recognize the S-View case opening and closing. I had the phone tested at Best Buy and they re-flashed it, (which didn't help).
I did notice that the upper (back) part of the S6 would get pretty hot, if I was using it while charging. (which was only via the USB plug). I don't know if that could cause the NFC chip to fail.
I use wireless charging and NFC on a regular basis though I tend to turn off NFC when I am not using it. Never had this problem.

Official wireless charger or 3rd party?
A $12.88 3rd party wireless QI charger.
Sometimes my Note8 does not charge on my Samsung fast wireless charger. No, this is not a position issue.. Sometimes, it just doesn't charge. The solid bluelight of the wireless charger although turns on. The only way for me to wireless charge again in this state is for me to reboot the phone.
Anyone else run onto this? Very annoying and it happens at random times.

I am surprised no one ran into this issue. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is some service I disabled.
I have the same issue and unfortunately have not figured it out. Mine will charge for about 10 seconds then will start blinking, I am using the dock fast charger from before the note 8 though not the newest one.

I had the same issue when trying to use the older wireless charging stand. I think it's a power issue because I tried an older iPad charging block (one of the bigger ones that has higher wattage or voltage or whatever) and it charged fine on the older stand. It didn't say it was fast charging but it did charge faster than average. I think I'll just stick to the newer charging base I got from the Note 8 promotion.
I had the same issue. I realized the case that i was using was the issue. Had to take it off to use the wireless charging.
I noticed the same thing recently. The wierd thing is, I also have the old original flat slow wireless charger and I use tha every night with a case, it just won't work on the fast dock one. Only without the case, or I think if i lay it sideways it works.

If it is not the case...
This issue has to do with power supply. Try different cables or wall plugs. I have had this issue in the past it could be sending too much or too little voltage. It blinks like that and turns off to protect your device from getting damaged.
I actually had to use an older wall plug to get my older wireless charging pad to work. The quick charge wall plug was pushing too much voltage.

if I remove the case it works perfectly. With the case its the 10 second deal; However, I took your advice and switched out the charging brick to another samsung fast charger ( all i have to test with at the moment) and it looks like it may work. I will see if I have a better one at home but it may just be with the case its having to emit more power like you mentioned. not sure but ill try that out for now.

Looks like a common issue where the old wireless charger (pre S8 ones) had problems. My fast wireless charger had no issues with the S7, just the Note 8.

Many users are facing this problem. While searching the web I found one user giving the best solution for this problem at Samsung community, He says that he has the same issue if the phone is standing straight up. However, when he put it on its side he never seems to have the problem.

Yeah. I saw that but its still not working correctly for me.
Anyone notice that it only charges when the screen is OFF?
I have this issue sometimes randomly on the new flat fast charger. Does this with my wifes S8 as well. My older standing type fastcharger that I got for my Note 5 works flawlessly. I feel like it's the flat fastcharger base itself.
Ummm... now this crazy phone is charging FLAWLESSLY. And I havent changed a thing...
Wireless charging is awful on this device. No matter what case (or even no case), my phone must often does not charge wirelessly. I've tried multiple chargers. I get the "connected; not charging" message. Sometimes it works, but seems to need to be in the exact spot. Even then, it often stops charging after a while or drains faster than it charges.
Any insight or solution to this?
This is a stock pixel 7 pro, bootloader still locked. Bought from Google store and activated on T-mobile.
What wireless charging pad are you using?
I was having all the same thoughts as you. Had a couple Samsung "fast" wireless chargers. However, bought a new one Costco that's not Samsung and it works as expected. Never have to realign or wake up to a dead phone anymore.

In my case, I figured out my wireless charging is unstable if my phone is in any condition where it might get at all warm. The Pixel 7s are just lousy at staying cool, and once the temperature rises to high 30/low 40C (which doesn't take much at all), wireless charging is severely throttled if not completely stopped. So if it's sunny out, I understand my phone won't charge in my car mount. The sun just makes it too hot, and it won't bother (no matter how cool I keep it in my car, direct sunlight on the phone is too much). If it's sitting on my wireless charger and I decide to try and use my phone while it charges, I understand odds are VERY high it will get too hot and stop charging. And if it stops charging because it has overheated, I know now to give up rather than keep readjusting it on the wireless charger, because even if it's not charging, if it's trying, it's still making the phone hotter, which is making it take even longer to cool down and resume charging. So I just take it off and don't bother putting it back on until it's gotten a chance to settle first.
It's finicky and irritating that their flagship has such lousy thermal control, but knowing that my wireless charging issues are linked to my phone's temperature has helped me understand how to keep my phone charged. Those who only charge wirelessly without ever trying to use the phone and only in particularly cool environments may never observe any wireless charging issues at all.

I noticed this too
I find Power saver with less brightness helps, but if it gets hot it's not charging at all
No problems with 2 different wireless chargers with a transparent case.
I measured the power usage with an external device and its mostly the charger uses 14 watts power between 0 and 80%. (don't forget the energy loss with this technology!)
No real overheating. But placing the device correctly affects the power draw a lot.
I agree. It's terrible, no matter what charging pad i use, it always glitchy.
Not to mention, the reverse charging won't work properly either. Plenty of time i need to recharge my buds while travelling to no avail.
I struggled with wireless chargers for P7P too, I tried at least 4 with varying degrees of success but ultimately I just ended up using some of the store credit I got for buying to the phone to get a Pixel Stand 2 and it works great.
I can happily say : MARCH RELEASE FIXED MY WIRELESS CHARGING ISSUE.
