Custom ROM for Oppo Find Muse R821

If you having hard time to find a custom ROM for your Oppo Find Muse (R821), I have found some custom ROM for this phone.
* I’M NOT A DEVELOPER. I ONLY SHARE THE WORK OF OTHER GUYS FROM INDONESIA. THEY DID AN AMAZING WORK BY PORTING ROM FROM MANY OTHER BRANDS TO OPPO FIND MUSE. ALL CREDITS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR :good::good::good:
* I ASSUME THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW THE RISK OF DOING THIS AND I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE OF YOUR PHONE.
* Please note that all original posting was made inside of a Closed Facebook Group, please make sure you join the group to see the original post. And it use an un-official Bahasa Indonesia as the group everyday language, so I think Google translate won’t help much.
* If you don’t have CWM recovery please flash this CWM using Mobile Uncle.

* If you found that ROM on this list don’t have GAPPS, please flash this ZIP trough CWM.

* If you can't download apps from Google Play Store, please empty the Proxy number on APN (Access Point Names) Setting.
*If you get IMEI lost after flashing a ROM, please flash this ZIP trough CWM (in most case it works).

THIS GUIDE IS A COMMON METHOD OF FLASHING CUSTOM ROM USING CWM RECOVERY (detailed explanation can be found on google)
1. Make sure your device have ROOT access (if you don’t have root then try app called FRAMAROOT, just google it)
2. Download attached CWM recovery for Oppo R821
3. Install downloaded CWM recovery using Mobile Uncle (download from play store, and google it about how to install CWM recovery using Mobile Uncle)
4. Download ROM you want to install
5. Boot into recovery mode (POWER OFF your phone, then press VOLUME DOWN + POWER together for a few seconds and it will boot into recovery mode)
6. Make a BACKUP from your current ROM in case something wrong happen (google it about how to make a NANDROID BACKUP USING CWM), it will require around 1.5GB depending on your installed apps
7. Inside CWM mode, wipe system, dalvik, cache, ….everything (just google it about how to do it). THIS PROCESS WILL ERASE ALL YOUR INSTALLED APPS, PHONE CONTACT, SMS, PASSWORDS, etc but will not erase data on your SD-CARD.
8. Back to CWM main menu, and choose INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD (or something similar to it), and wait until the process finished
9. After installation finished, then reboot your phone from CWM by using REBOOT SYSTEM NOW on main menu
10. First time boot will need longer time than usual (around 1-3 minutes)
11. Enjoy your installed custom ROM

Do you have root access? you can remove them from system app, or you can simply freeze them.

Of course, my phone has rooted, and CWM too.
But i delete "them" comlete by titanium, then i clear davik cache, and its come back

I also have that issue, but it's not bothering me. I think there is no meaning on clearing dalvik cache many times if we do not flash anything to system.
I quite satisfied with the Color OS for Muse, even without front cam.

Great Job! I waited a long time for someone who provides custom ROM´s.
It would be also a good idea to post the original ROM´s here.
I figured out, that in ColorOS None of the cameras are working.
Since I installed a Vietnamese ROM on my Find Muse I´ve lost my IMEI´s. None of the Tools, that I found on the web could solve the Problem, even when my phone was rooted.
Any idea, to solve this issue??

Do you have make a imei backup before flashing this ROM? Imei file can be found at root directory/Data/NVRAM, if you have it you can restore it. I flashed custom rom many times but never face imei lost.
If you have rear camera not working then flash this zip, it should fix your rear camera.

Someone from FB group suggest me to flash the original stock ROM first to get the IMEI back, it can be found on official page of OPPO find muse on Vietnam website http://www.oppomobile.vn/ho-tro/download.html#r821
After finish flashing original stock rom, then try to flash custom ROM carefully.
please update us the progress.

I downloaded the suggested ROM and tried to install it.
I got the message "assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "R821" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "R821"
I deleted get prop("ro.product.device") == "R821" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "R821" in updater-script and was able to install the ROM on my device.
The result was the same. I have no IMEI. (I had a SIM in my phone.).
I try same procedure now with the chinese ROM.

I downloaded the original chinese ROM and made the same modifications like before, and..............
Here we go, the original IMEI is back. Obviously I needed to have the chinese ROM, because I bought the phone in China.
Should I share the modified original ROM´s here??

That's great. now that you have your imei back, maybe you can try to re-flash the custom ROM.
Personally i flash many custom ROM many times but never have imei lost such on your case. just for your information, that many custom ROM is coming from INDIA or CHINA based ROM, so i think that imei lost is not related to region.

I tried to flash the Vietnamese ROM and also the Color OS ROM. The result was everytime the same. I lost the IMEI. So I´m back on the chinese ROM, cleaned it from chinese apps.
Which ROM´s are chinese based? I want to try one of These.

try LEWA OS.
please backup your IMEI while you still have it, then try restoring it on other ROM.
note: PLEASE TRY BACKUP & RESTORE IMEI USING MOBILE UNCLE

Well no, because it doesn't. Just because the sensor is capable of it under certain configurations doesn't warrant saying that "Mi 4c does this". It standard still has no 4K support and the highest framerate on 720p out of the box I estimate around 50fps.
If anything, these things could be listed under specific camera apps or the roms that come with them.
Definitely not on GSMarena since that shouldn't account for roms or special configurations.

In the developer rom the standard camera app does support 4k. Don't know if the feature is present in stable, but I think that most users are in dev rom...

Most users will definitely be on stable and not have flashed anything at all. But if you mean most users on this board, I think CM takes the cake.
In any case, this index thread is a great directory for new users to come before flashing any rom or mods at all, or even before owning the phone.
The specs shouldn't list anything that isn't stock out of the box.
Although having it in the dev version might mean it will be in the stable in the future, likely paired with the release of their MM builds, which they're probably holding back until after the new phones' release in March.

Hey ! I have a Samsung J5 , model number SM-J510FN , its rooted and it has latest TWRP installed.
But whenever I try to flash a Lineage ROM. I got confused while selecting the correct and stable ROM.
It will be Life saving if somebody make me understand whats the difference between { j5lte }, { j5xnlte }, { j5ltechn} & { j5nlte }

2. Open the system update app (or enter the system update from the settings), click the icon in the upper right corner, and select the recovery mode;

It doesn't overheat while gaming and provides 4-5 hours of high graphics 60fps GAMING screen time.

Going from global rom to cn rom with this?
Guys, I got this phone, Lenovo Z5s, from a vendor on aliexpress. It has a 'global' rom, unofficial, unsupported. I want to install the cn rom on it. Really a newbie at this stuff, and I don't have a PC either, in case I might attempt to flash rom, etc., by using PC.
Will this method here work, to install stock cn rom on a phone with the global rom installed on it? The global rom is zui 10.5.205 android 9. Seems no need for a PC to perform this with the above method, if I am understanding it correctly. I like the phone, but to the vendor's global rom is kind of a drag.

OVERVIEW:
The Hyundai HyTab Plus is a 7" budget tablet manufactured by Hyundai Technology. This tablet is available in two variants: a WiFi only variant (7WB1) and a 4G-LTE supported variant (7LBI).
Both tablet models ship with a bootloader supported for OEM unlocking via the standard fastboot command line. In terms of development, there is very little info online about these tablet models. Accordingly, a general info & discussion thread is needed for owners of these devices.
DEVICE SPECS:
Both the 7WB1 and 7LB1 models include a 7" IPS 1024 x 600 display; 32 GB of internal storage (24 GB useable); 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM; 5 MP main camera and 2 MP front shooter; micro SD card slot supporting up to 1 TB external storage; and the Android 10 Go Edition OS preinstalled.
The key hardware differences between the two models are the chipset platforms. The WiFi-only model (7WB1) is powered by the Allwinner-100 chipset; while its sister model, the 4G-LTE (7LB1) variant, packs the MediaTek MT6739 platform. Both chipset are integrated with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU with a max clock of about 1.5 Ghz, and the Imagination PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU, with a max clock of around 570 MHz. Both models employ the dynamic partition scheme and are not supported for seamless updates (non-A/B).
DEVELOPMENT STATUS:
I owe much thanks and gratitude to Hyundai Technology Support Specialist Yusef Gharib, who has most graciously provided me with factory firmware images for both the 7WB1 and 7LB1 models of the Hyundai HyTab Plus 7" tablet. This has made restoring the device to its stock factory state possible, as well as rooting the tablet with the Magisk systemless strategy.
To date, I have posted a thread on unlocking the bootloader and rooting the 4G-LTE (7LB1) supported model. I am in the process of creating the same guide for the WiFi--only (7WB1) model, as well as stock) firmware restoration guides for both models. I will update the links to these guides below as I get them completed. I also plan on porting TWRP custom recovery to both models.
