Well no, because it doesn't. Just because the sensor is capable of it under certain configurations doesn't warrant saying that "Mi 4c does this". It standard still has no 4K support and the highest framerate on 720p out of the box I estimate around 50fps.
If anything, these things could be listed under specific camera apps or the roms that come with them.
Definitely not on GSMarena since that shouldn't account for roms or special configurations.
In the developer rom the standard camera app does support 4k. Don't know if the feature is present in stable, but I think that most users are in dev rom...
Most users will definitely be on stable and not have flashed anything at all. But if you mean most users on this board, I think CM takes the cake.
In any case, this index thread is a great directory for new users to come before flashing any rom or mods at all, or even before owning the phone.
The specs shouldn't list anything that isn't stock out of the box.
Although having it in the dev version might mean it will be in the stable in the future, likely paired with the release of their MM builds, which they're probably holding back until after the new phones' release in March.
Thanks for this thread. I was wondering, though, why there are pictures of LG and HTC phones in your posts? More pictures of the Mi 4C, e.g. from different angles, would be better!

Latest is 1.38 coming from Ota. I'm from Mexico and that's what I have. Haven't been able to install it couse Ota fails. If you follow the instructions posted above it will work perfectly. Mine use to heat up until I put the 1.36. Hope work for you.

What is the device model you have? Are you using the ST or SC version? I read the rooting and flashing TWRP TUT about this phone and no one succeeded after checking the comment section .. I'm using SC and the file availble for SC is only 1.10 :/ and I think it still needs to be rooted and TWRP recovery to flash those firmwares.

Thanks Regus .. I think SC is for some Asian countries like Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore .. but yeah mostly we have SC in our countries. The heat in the back is tolerable but it consumes more battery when the phone is heating up even with just skype and downloading applications in playstore
I been using the ROM MIUI 7.1 for some days and I am so happy with it. Different from all others Roms, smooth, no more heating and battery lasts what it should.
Hi has anyone updated using the OTA 1.38 Update. Anyone know what it contains. I am a bit reluctant to update as it is all in Chinese, will there be a English option once it is installed. Thanks.

Maybe your CWM are too old! Use "SP Flash Tool" to install PhilzRecovery.
Still can't able to flash philz recovery with sp flash tool.
My device is qmobile i12 running cm12.1 ROM.
Problem with Wifi
I just tried to watch a movie with the Amazon Video App but every 10 mins or so the wifi just disconnects and the connection is the best possible.
I don't know why, it's a relative fresh installation of this ROM.

Ok, your phone are'nt Wiko Getaway... but Qmobile i12 is the same... Don't know why you can't install philz recovery posted in #2.
You are using CM12.1 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/port-cyanogenmod-12-1-wiko-getaway-t3242011 ? Try use philz recovery available from there (CWM Recovery or PhilZ Touch Recovery from Casper Via V5)!

Do you have a wifi drop every 10 minuts? That's it? This happens only with Amazon Video or happens the same with YouTube?
Dido you backup an recovery NVRAM, from a full functional ROM (KK ou CM12.1)?

Yes, it only happens with Amazon Video, in Youtube everything is fine.
And I did backup an recovery NVRAM using "MTK Nvram Tool (Backup & Restore)" from a full functional ROM (CM12.1).
Removing the Wifi (and logging back in) or setting a static IP does not help.
After flashing philz recovery from Casper via5 I successfully flashed the ROM. Everything working fine. Thanks a lot jasousa for your help and for your port.

When I take panorama from "cardboard camera" or make videos from another camera app the image appears to show pixels. It also happens when I take live photo from "mx camera".
When I connect my device to PC as media device the computer shows "Device is Connected" but it does not show any USB device in "My Computer". I searched on Google about it and it shows that it is a common problem in Marshmallow.

How would one get a fix for the camera problem? Per example, on the cm 12.1 port you did, what was the science behind the camera fix? Wouldn't it be similar to how it's been dont before?

Hi !
I generated a scatter file using mtkdroidtools and used it to flash the recovery using Smart Phone Flash Tool but I got the error "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded". I read too fast a forum that told me to use the auto-format feature from Smart Phone Flash Tool and now I have a nice paperweight. Smart Phone Flash Tool can still connect to the phone, is there a way to unbrick it ?
I found the original rom but it's a big exe. If someone can send me a copy of their phone rom and a scatter file that would be super nice.
I downloaded and ran the latest update from the wiko website and the phone came back to life ! I now have to copy the wifi mac and 2 IMEI written on the cellphone box back to the phone
(I'm not deleting this post in case someone make the same mistake as me)

Hello! I installed the rom (i had stock rom rooted with cwm) and aroma said it was all succesful, but it has been far more than 10 minutes (maybe half an hour?) and it's still stuck in logo with a red exclamation on the left upper side.. Should I keep waiting? What happened and how can I fix it? Thank you.

Thanks for the nice Rom,but have little bit bug on home screen,there is no clock widget ti add on home screen,try to flash bug fix file,also not work. Than i replace clock app on system by es file explorer,but still not work. I thought it was bug because different DPI size on J1 rom. Still hope the dev can fix thiss issue to flash again this rom.

Is better than H-Rom S20, for example the usage of ram is better, is more smoothly and the Samsung Pass is ''working'' but as the same problem the H-Rom S20 as and the bug is reboots the phone (SM-J600FN) after 30 minutes of use and it's sad because this is super good but without this good work, continue creating roms for J6 i like so much your work!

I read your reply and I agree about that enough, but Do you mean that your phone with the A7 rom reboots suddenly in 30 minutes every time, screen goes out and Samsung Galaxy J6 logo appears, and then It boots up, as same as h rom s20 port?

After installing it reboots infinitely, I tried to flash magisk after installing but it didn't work either, help
All things are good... but only phone call doesn't working.. If I call someone, there is no signal on the other's phone. On the other's hand, if the other one call to my phone, its phone says that my phone has turned off. Why does this happen..

Hi sir, You may have a problem to install A7 PORT Rom, right? then redownload the rom through the link and install repartition v1.0 zip file or try the installation in OrangeFox Recovery, not in TWRP.
And The "H-ROM_A7_NAVBAR_MODDER.zip" is an MOD for enable or disable its navigation bar. And You can install it in TWRP or OrangeFox Recovery, just swiping once.
