Contacts not visible - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

Hi there,
I am from NZ and I imported a Snapdragon model of Note 20 Ultra 5G from Hongkong or Taiwan. The model number is SM-N9860
I have my contacts saved at either using the country code +64 or by just adding a 0 in front.
In my previous phone, both of these styles just worked fine and the name used to display when someone called me. However, now....it's so random. Some of my contacts call me and all that is displayed is a number. Does anyone have a solution for this annoying problem?
In short, I am needing to edit the contact details of my saved contacts
Thanks

I had this problem when I flashed Firmware CHC (Open China), I believing same is the problem in BRI (Taiwanese) Firmware as well. Flash yourn phone with latest TGY ) Hong Kong firmware and it will be fine.

Thanks a lot for your response. This seems logical as you have correctly identified BRI and all
I am keen on flashing it with TGY Firmware. But before that, I would like to know the possible implications of doing that. And then I would like to know the process if you don't mind please

No problems you will face, not even Knox will trip and void your warranty. Download official TGY from Samfirmware.com and flash it through odin.
Also TGY is a kind of international version like firmware. You'll love it.

I am not a tech-savvy person
What's the difference in TGY and BRI? What would I love about TGY?
And how do I change the firmware. There are not enough tutorials on YouTube
Thanks

Kies after ICS (Open Austria) Update Dilemma

Hey guys, i just udpated through Odin and I believe it went well. Everything on my tablet's working. Only problem, though, is that when i attach it to my desktop and open up Kies, I get this notice: "Your device does not support upgrading via Kies." in the firmware information section of the home screen of Kies. Is that normal? I'm from the Philippines, BTW, and I bought this device in Hong Kong.
Okay, might not have been clear. Is this normal or is this a problem?

Thanks, man. So just to verify, even if i am in the Philippines, my tab (through Kies) will still be looking up for Hong Kong based softwares? Also, even if I have the Austrian version flashed into it?

[Q] Install Other country firmware over stock Country firmware?

So I've just got my new Galaxy SII plus today and I'm sorta a total newb when it comes to the world of flashing . I'm wondering if it's possible to flash a stock firmware from another country in this case possibly a Hong Kong (I9105PZSAMH1) firmware, over a stock firmware from a different country/region of the phones origin (in this case some European countries (Italy, France, Belgium, United Kingdom etc. with the firmware number I9105PXXAMC2).
If I were to do this, would there be any side affects (like bricking) or would the phone work fine and exactly the same as it should be?
Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks in advance

Yes bro I had been doing this practice for years. And no side effects at all. Go ahead and flash other country's frimware. Only csc differs.

I just want to confirm, if I were to flash another stock from a different region, would I be flashing the radio (the baseband version) from that region as well?
Because I'm in Australia, and because I'm flashing a HK stock firmware over the European firmware.
and I'm unsure if the HK baseband version will work just as well as the current baseband version that I'm using. (Which is working very well)
Because apparently the radio towers in HK are closer together there, where as here they are further apart.

N9860 China

Hello, the answer to my question might sound obvious but I want to be 200% sure. If I get N9860 China model, can I flash Hong Kong firmware on it with Odin ? According to the files I found on Sammobile it seems ok but I need a confirmation : https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note-20-ultra-5g/firmware/SM-N9860/TGY/
Thanks a lot

Yes you can without any issue but you have to backup your data or else you will lose your data. And also why would you like to change the firmware. Is there problem ?

Chimera Tool says it can change CSC on note 20 ultras

So I was searching on google and saw that ChimeraTool has the note20 Ultra on their list now.

If it has KOO already, why would you change it? Do you mind sharing where you purchased it from? Thanks!
Why doesnt dialing the service code to change the csc work on your models?
Feel free to spend 70 euros on it and report back
Have you tried using the Mysterious Dev CSC changer? (Using theme app to change the CSC)
I used that successfully on N9860 to change from TGY to BRI. I'm guessing it should be possible on N986N to get KOO.

You can only change CSC to one from the same Model phone, for example my N986B Note 20 Ultra was running EVR, which is a UK carrier CSC, and I changed it to BTU which is an unlocked UK CSC
I don't believe the HK model supports any UK CSC

No you cannot. You can only choose between TGY and BRI. Or Chinese CHC. TGY is the best of the three if you don't care about voice recording. TGY also has Smart Call (Spam ID/Hiya). BTU is an Exynos model not Snapdragon.
