Hey guys, i just udpated through Odin and I believe it went well. Everything on my tablet's working. Only problem, though, is that when i attach it to my desktop and open up Kies, I get this notice: "Your device does not support upgrading via Kies." in the firmware information section of the home screen of Kies. Is that normal? I'm from the Philippines, BTW, and I bought this device in Hong Kong.
Okay, might not have been clear. Is this normal or is this a problem?

Thanks, man. So just to verify, even if i am in the Philippines, my tab (through Kies) will still be looking up for Hong Kong based softwares? Also, even if I have the Austrian version flashed into it?

For east Europe use XXKPQ for vest Europe use XWKPG
Thanks - I'll have a look around for XWKPG.
Kind regards
Dave
Hold on - that seems to be an indian firmware, rather than a european one? is that OK for my device?
This is what I'm getting for the current version
PDA: I9003XWKB4
PHONE: 19003XXKB1
CSC: I9003OXXKB2
I thought OXX was portugal, so now I'm even more confused!

Assuming that there really is no gingerbread XEU firmware (which I'm having a hard job believing, this is a current model on sale in the stores right now) then that might be the only way to do it. But I really want to find an official XEU GB firmware for the I9003 if there is one out there.
Is there anyone else here who has an unlocked I9003 UK model? what firmware are you running?
Need XEU
I too have a GT-I9003 which I bought online last year. The original CSC was TGY (Hong Kong I think).
I flashed XXKPE/XXKPQ/XXKPU so I now have latest Gingerbread but I am stuck with a CSC of SER (Poland or Russia?).
Everything works fine. Kies sees it as latest. It's just annoying to be stuck with an eastern CSC.
Would also welcome any tips on how to get to CSC of XEU.
Rather wary of spoof apps.

Does anybody know anything about PDA:ME2 / CSC: ME1 (XEH) rom for P6210 in hungarian region?
It released in KIES couple of days ago, but I can't find it on Samfirmware.
An hungarian expert advised for me DON'T upgrade my device via KIES if I have CWM and my Tab is rooted.
He suggested to me to wait for an Odin version for this rom.
Does anybody can help?

There is no such ROM release in KIES. When it does arrive for Hungary, it should be XXMF1. It's possible you may be able to install the P6210XXMF1 ROM for Russia on your device via ODIN, but I am in the US so I cannot say if this will work or not. What is your current OEM ROM? There isn't a seprate path for Hungary.
I think you're wrong.
This is the firmware in KIES:
And this shows there are seperate roms for Hungary on Samfirmware:
2nd photo is about p3100 model (gt2 7.0)...
in sammobile there is not any hungary release

What is the first item in the list?
Hungary (T-Mobile)
I see this is for P3100, but this confirms that there are firmwares for Hungary on samfirmware.
And this picture confirms too:

P3100 is a completely different device from the P6210, not even using the same CPU If you could manage to load that software, your device would be bricked.

Yes, I know! And what?
Who said I want to flash this firmware onto my device?
I just illustrated your false statement about there is no firmware for Hungary on samfirmware with these pictures.

Can you read and do you actually understand you are writing questions in the P6200 / P6210 forum?
Who on this list cares what software is available for the Sammy P3100 or any other device other than the P6200 / P6210 that this forum is all about.
God Love you people that come here looking for help then attempt to argue with those that try.

Pardon?
I think you don't understand me.
Didn't you write this untrue sentences?
"There is no such ROM release in KIES."
"There isn't a seprate path for Hungary."
I've upgraded my device via KIES today morning.
And I showed you there are separate path for Hungary.
That's all.
So I've just got my new Galaxy SII plus today and I'm sorta a total newb when it comes to the world of flashing . I'm wondering if it's possible to flash a stock firmware from another country in this case possibly a Hong Kong (I9105PZSAMH1) firmware, over a stock firmware from a different country/region of the phones origin (in this case some European countries (Italy, France, Belgium, United Kingdom etc. with the firmware number I9105PXXAMC2).
If I were to do this, would there be any side affects (like bricking) or would the phone work fine and exactly the same as it should be?
Has anyone tried this before?
Thanks in advance

I just want to confirm, if I were to flash another stock from a different region, would I be flashing the radio (the baseband version) from that region as well?
Because I'm in Australia, and because I'm flashing a HK stock firmware over the European firmware.
and I'm unsure if the HK baseband version will work just as well as the current baseband version that I'm using. (Which is working very well)
Because apparently the radio towers in HK are closer together there, where as here they are further apart.

Hello, the answer to my question might sound obvious but I want to be 200% sure. If I get N9860 China model, can I flash Hong Kong firmware on it with Odin ? According to the files I found on Sammobile it seems ok but I need a confirmation : https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note-20-ultra-5g/firmware/SM-N9860/TGY/
Thanks a lot

Yes you can without any issue but you have to backup your data or else you will lose your data. And also why would you like to change the firmware. Is there problem ?
Hi there,
I am from NZ and I imported a Snapdragon model of Note 20 Ultra 5G from Hongkong or Taiwan. The model number is SM-N9860
I have my contacts saved at either using the country code +64 or by just adding a 0 in front.
In my previous phone, both of these styles just worked fine and the name used to display when someone called me. However, now....it's so random. Some of my contacts call me and all that is displayed is a number. Does anyone have a solution for this annoying problem?
In short, I am needing to edit the contact details of my saved contacts
Thanks

I had this problem when I flashed Firmware CHC (Open China), I believing same is the problem in BRI (Taiwanese) Firmware as well. Flash yourn phone with latest TGY ) Hong Kong firmware and it will be fine.

Thanks a lot for your response. This seems logical as you have correctly identified BRI and all
I am keen on flashing it with TGY Firmware. But before that, I would like to know the possible implications of doing that. And then I would like to know the process if you don't mind please

No problems you will face, not even Knox will trip and void your warranty. Download official TGY from Samfirmware.com and flash it through odin.
Also TGY is a kind of international version like firmware. You'll love it.

I am not a tech-savvy person
What's the difference in TGY and BRI? What would I love about TGY?
And how do I change the firmware. There are not enough tutorials on YouTube
Thanks
