Oppo find X2 pro CPH2025 - OPPO Find X2 Pro Questions & Answers

I have a problem with my oppo find X2 pro cph2025 and I installed the beta of Android 11 and I would like to go back to Android 10 and install the official version. I've tried everything and still haven't been able to do it. if someone helps me I would be delighted

Hello, I'm in the same position. I have wiped the phone and tried to rollback but I keep getting an 'installation failed' message. Any attempt to install from download folder gives me a 'failed to extract. File corrupt' If anyone's out there with an idea how to rollback successful then please let us know. Thank you in advance.

Hi guys,
You need to first format data via recovery. This will decrypt your internal storage.
You then need to download this file https://fsopen.coloros.com/3/oppoww...0810_all_EI2gpIrAinVK-roll-findx2-mp9-ex.ozip and place it on the root of your internal storage.
Reboot to recovery and flash. Ignore the fact it says CPH2023. Several people including me have flashed this and got off the Android 11 beta. After you flash, you need to download and flash this https://mega.nz/file/KAcVGY7C#Kld16kGyDUOn1yUD9BYIoKH4IZUrgSUIj7HB5Je-r08 otherwise, you’ll be stuck on the A.31 update until the end of time. Plus the A.31 update is not play store certified - so Netflix etc wont download. The mega link above is for A.41.
So just to reiterate, format data, boot phone, skip the setup process, download the first link, place on root of internal storage, reboot to recovery, flash, skip through the setup process, download the second link and repeat...
Let me know if you need any further help.
Regards,
Speedy!

Thank you very much, could you guide us step by step because I try to install the downloaded file through the recovery mode and it never appears in the installation file. If you could give me your email and get in touch with you for a guide on how to do it, I would really appreciate it. thank you and I hope you help me

Okay so, step by step.
1. Turn off phone
2. Boot to recovery
3. Once in recovery, format data (if you're on the Android 11 Beta)
4. Once formatted, reboot.
5. Download the first link above.
6. Once downloaded, move to the root of your internal storage.
7. Once moved, reboot to recovery.
8. Install from internal storage.
9. Once installed, reboot.
10. Skip through the setup process.
11. Delete the previous software file to save confusion.
12. Download the second link above and move to the root of your internal storage.
13. Power off and boot to recovery.
14. Install from internal storage.
15. Select the file you downloaded secondly.
16. Reboot and go through the setup process as you normally would.
17. Enjoy!

Did you roll back to A.31? I think the A.31 update had no meaningful use and only served a purpose to roll back beta participants to Android 10. I remember updating to A.38 (Vodafone UK) and the option to change region was removed.
Changing region won't be a "thing" anymore in future updates from Oppo.

Hey Speedy, yeah, also updated my phone to L1 so Netflix now works. Cheers mate.

Latest OTA update unable to install - produced "Error" screen on reboot

A few days ago, I received a notification on my N5 for a new system update of size 10.1 MB. When I choose to install the update, the phone reboots as expected, shows the "Google" startup logo, shows a screen that indicates that it is installing the update for a few seconds, and then finally ends at an "Error" screen (please see the attached image).
The phone stays on this screen for quite a while (more than a minute), then finally the device restarts and the system update notification is still present.
I've tried rebooting the phone manually and installing the update again, both when charging and when off the charger, but this has not helped. I've also searched to see if others have been having this problem, but I haven't been able to find anything. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue with the latest update, or are there any suggestions for how I can go about getting the update to install properly?
I would suggest you flash the system.img and boot.img using fastboot. The latest factory image ends in 48i, Google nexus factory image and download that image, extract it and inside is another zip file, in there you'll find the system and boot images.

Thank you for your speedy reply! I will do as you've suggested and respond with my results.
I get the same error when trying to update the OTA Update (from LMY48 to LMY48I). Is it possible to install the next update ignoring this one or will I only be able to install it after sucessfully updated this update?
Why don't you just do what jd1639 suggested?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
So, I'm coming back to admit that I still haven't attempted the solution proposed by jd1639, with the reason being that I don't quite have the time to deal with flashing and clean-wiping my phone, then setting everything up again. I know it's a simple process, but right now I don't want to do anything that could jeopardize my having a working phone. I doubt there's any better option than flashing the latest update, however, so I'm waiting until I have the time and the patience to do so.
I must say that I'm still curious as to why something like this would happen. I'm inclined to assume that it is a problem with my phone in particular, since I haven't been able to find any other complaints about this problem with this particular OTA update (although cj182 seems to be having the same problem as I am). I suppose anything can go wrong with a system update, especially on a Linux-based system, but I would like to figure out why such a small and seemingly inconsequential update would fail to install on my phone when past updates of much larger sizes and complexity seemed to install without issue.

I must admit that I'm interested in the answer to this question, as well, though my intuition tells me that the answer is no because I would think that Google releases each OTA update assuming that the device is on the latest version of Android up until that point. I do not know if Google releases separate updates that would allow one to "skip" a version in between a previous version and the latest, though I may certainly be incorrect.

If your bootloader is unlocked just flashing the system and boot images does not wipe your device. If everything goes right there will be no re-setting up required, you will have to re-root if you're rooted but that's just a matter of flashing supersu in a custom recovery.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
Or try recovery (stock) and find the flash update from cache (might work)
Sent from my LG-D722 using XDA Free mobile app
That doesn't work. The update checks for changes to the system (root, etc.) and needs stock recovery to install.
I'm also having the same exact problem!

This is why the first thing you should do when you get a nexus is unlock the bootloader...

It's pretty simple actually
Turn phone off
Hold power button + volume up
You're now in fastboot
Downloaded the needed files from this thread. Flash from fastboot
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2826541
Search on Google for latest fastboot zip and use that to do the guide.
You will have to unlock your bootloader. There are videos on YouTube that show how to do this so search and you'll find all the answers.

All files needed to restore your device should go to its installation folder.
Your bootloader is already unlocked, isn't it?

I have an honor 8 FRD-L04. I would like up update to nougat. I tried the Charles method and it didn't work. I heard about a dload method. I tried to look for links all over the forum but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how to update using the dload method?

I think when you're writing the response, there is already a few symbols there. So what I did was copy the code and when I am going to paste it I hit ctrl+a to select all text, then control+v to paste the copied code. After that I then click execute, it needs to be done quickly.

Sorry for the late response, yea when you get the update don't press the back button. What you should do is to pull down the notification, then press and hold onto the wifi toggle, you'll end up directly in the wifi section where you can then change back the proxy. After you do that just press the recent apps button and go back to the updater, then click update.
Don't forget to hit that thanks button

img, but in stock recovery an error occurs while checking the update.zip. It always delete the files for the update and after booting the system the update downloaded by the system again. After five tries I don't try it again.
Are there any possibilities to install this update without wiping the whole system?

Update B360 on B380 without downgrade to MM.
1. Turn on FF and search for updates.
2. Set the proxy to localhost 8080.
3. In FF select B380 OTA-MF (383MB) and do not download only send to updater.
4. Go to system update tab and select the last full package. The system will find a full package with a long name of over 2GB.
5. Select the next find the last full package. Now the system should show the package about 400MB with the normal version name. Do not download!
6. Go to proxy settings and disable them.
7. Go back to the update tab and start downloading.
Should download, update. You have the B380 version.
After a few minutes after the update, the phone is standing on the start screen for a few minutes, waiting patiently.

Unrooting help

Hey all,
So I've decided that I am too inexperienced to have my honor 8 rooted and would like to revert it back to stock. I don't care if it is still unlocked, I just don't want the root. I am using TWRP and the model I have is the LD-04 B385. Also, I DO NOT have an actual external SD card. I have tried using supersu to unroot, unsuccessful. I have tried manually unrooting and only made it to where I downloaded the zip supposedly containing the stock img. I extracted the UPDATE file but never actually found the boot.img. So now I'm stuck. Any help would be extremely appreciated. And please, as painstaking as it might be for you, please explain in very simple terms. On a scale of infant to old man on the knowledge of this stuff, I'm fresh out the womb!
The main question is what did you originally used to root...

Look the best way to make ur device stock again is to download the rollback package and install it. It will bring u to marshmallow and when u update back to Nougat ur bootloader will get locked and ur phone will start functioning just fine again.

You can do it over mobile. Just boot to erecovery and select the first option. Note that this will wipe your internal memory so have a backup of your files.
