What is the poco x3 display brand? - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

Hello. The screen brand is not written in the test menu. Can those with rooted device download the device info HW application from google play and look at the screen brand? I hope tianma not ?.

usually huaxing nt36672c (huaxing optoelectronics, TCL group)
you can check it on MIUI bug report (call *#*#284#*#* and read debug log on MIUI/Debug_log folder on phone).

What file are you guys opening? I did a log like said above and looked in pretty much every file I could searching for dsi and couldn't find the brand of my panel. Thank you.

Hi!
I don't know if there is an easy way but, after create the bug report with the above code (*#*#284#*#*), inside the debug_log on MIUI folder on main storage you will have a zip file (bug report). I extracted that bug report and inside was another bug report zip file, I also extracted that one and inside was a txt file with the same name as the zip. I opened that file and found the reference on the line 12 of the file. I believe you can search for "msm_drm.dsi_display0" or "lcmtype" and you will find it.
Regards

thank you!, I foolishly thought the second zip was a copy of the first one in a recursive kind of way. Glad I have the same panel as you. thanks again.

mine too - though reading the Debug log was a mission, mine was 48 megabytes in size! had to find an app (think i used Chrome) to read it, the default app would only allow 2 megs maximum.
does anyone have a Non Huaxing screen>?

Just bought the phone today in Turkey. 128gb Global variant. Huaxing panel. So far so good.

Guys I have just received my second Poco X3.
My first model is a 64GB one whereas the one I received now is a 128GB variant.
Being aware that phone manufacturers like to build their same phones within the same revision but with different hardware, I somehow had a bad gut feeling, that the 128GB I just got shipped now will be somehow different to the one I already own.
So upon starting up the newer X3 I perceived the screen to be a tad dark, especially the whites did not seem to "shine" much.
Having a bad premonition that I could possible have received a phone with different internal hardware (i.e. screen panel) I checked both phones side by side and noticed quite the differences between those.
My initial phone (64GB model) was/is much brighter than the 128GB model at the same brightness levels.
I tested out many brightness levels by adjusting the sliders and aligning them according to the background (in this case making sure the length of the brightness slider is the same on both phones) so I can test the brightness correctly.
I was surprised by how sharp the difference in brightness was. The 64GB seemed to be definitely brighter than the 128GB model.
Also, the colors seemed to be a tad more saturated on the 64GB device.
After this inital discovery I made sure, the 128GB model is also on the latest upate, which is 12.0.7.
Upon rebooting and reviewing the device again, I noticed no differences to the previous test: the screen seemed as inferior as it was before the software update compared to the 64GB model.
I was a little disappointed I must say.
Then I searched on google on how to check the screen manufacturer and found this thread.
After checking the system log on both phones I got the answer to the fishy differences between both phones:
My 128GB model has a Tianma panel whereas the 64GB model has a Huaxing panel.
Just wanted to share this with you guys.
Now I am stuck deciding on if I should keep the 128GB model.
Actually I am about to sell my 64GB device to a colleague; the newer X3 should have replaced my current one.
Now I am not so sure anymore on what exactly to do.
Does or did anyone else experience these kind of issues described above with their Poco X3s?

Too bad mine was a tianma panel. I have the 64GB variant.

Hey guys, Can someone please answer fast. I'm gonna buy a second hand poco x3 and I asked the seller to check the display manufacturer
the problem is after dialing that number mentioned here, there is no debug file in the mentioned folder.
is it hidden or something?
are there any other ways to check this?
Unfortunately I dont have the phone in hand and the seller isnt that into these things so I have to make things simple for him.

Device Info HW application but only with root access. You will find it in General - cmdline section.

No need for root though (with latest vers?) Simply check general tab LCM. With NFC 64GB:

I bought it at the official german Xiaomi Online shop. It's the X3 NFC.
Btw. I noticed the Huaxing panel can also keep sunlight mode activated for a longer time period than the Tianma panel.
Same setup side by side holding both phones under direct sunlight and using them (scrolling around, starting apps etc.).
The Tianma panel seems to have a more aggressive thermal management and turns off sunlight mode more quickly, making it less readable than the Huaxing panel with regards to maximum brightness level.
This is just my subjective observation though.

Severe image retention/"burn in" problem with Redmi Note 5 Pro! LQ Panels

I'm creating this thread to spread awareness, Xiaomi is using really low quality panels for the RMN5P, I got the phone and on day ONE, using official MIUI, my screen got the google keyboard G logo and the on-screen keys burned-in or persisting in the screen like in the attachment, that's the G logo in GBoard, I have to admit I'm very disappointed by Xiaomi on this one, if you have the same issue I encourage you to share it on this thread, and to also let Xiaomi know about this on the miui forums, thank you.
Edit: I got my device replaced and the new one does it as well 2 broken devices total
Don't have this problem, using it for 3 days since tuesday.
don't have this problem with almost one month usage

Thank you for your input guys but obviously not everyone is going to get bad panels, the issue is that Xiaomi is selling some phones with completely unacceptable panels and they have to become aware of it, I can't believe I got a brand new phone and images are retained on the screen from day one, and I'm not the only one, it has also been mentioned here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/help/3-days-usage-burn-t3793599
I don't have this issue. I've turned on display for 30 minutes on full brightness at the home screen only. And don't have image retention. I have Tianma TD4310 panel. I'm also checking cause I'm still on warranty.
It would help people to contribute to this problem if someone would post how users can find out which panel they have. I´ve heard the Aida64 app could do it, but I don´t see the panel manufacturer listed anywhere....
This usually happens on tianma displays
heres a little neat trick to avoid this
Turn on Reading mode and set the calibration to 1/4 so that it wouldnt be too yellow, tadah no more retention
^ It's a known fact.
You can either do what he said or you can use a custom rom (wait for one with kcal), go to display settings, color calibration and from 100% go to 95% to all the colors. You will have slightly lower brightness but no color retention.

True
Have the same problem with Mi A1 [Tianma Panel]
Service center rejected my claim that it is software issue (They downgraded OS to Nougat - Their solution)
Its there even with Nougat, have to get display panel replaced before warranty expires
Very very true
No one should buy this crap. barely 2 months of usage and the screen burn in is severe, image retention everywhere I'm very pissed at xiaomi for doing this.
Also got tianma td4310 panel but luckily no burn in after 2 weeks as I don't have mi service centers in my country
I have same problem... Help plz
This also happened to me using a Redmi 5 Plus. Yours is whyred, right?

Type *#*#6484#*#* in the Xiaomi dialer
Ive got tianma. No image retention.
It does have crappy motion clarity tho. Albeit still much better than redmi note 4.
I had the same problem, I send back my note 5 and bought a Oneplus 6. In 60 min i had already ghosting.
To bad, nice phone but a ghosting is not done for me.
Panel was a tianma td4310.
U can test it by yourself, set it for like 15 min on 1 app and focus on some thing I went back to Twitter night view and I saw some details of the previous app on it.
A shame, the tiamma panels on the note 4 had the same problem aswell.
Maybe I wait for the Mi 8 and trade my oneplus in. But the notch is to big to display notification icons....

Where to Buy!

Got mine off of AliExpress. Awesome phone!
I assume at this stage, Smartisan has no intention to release this phone to overseas market, so AliExpress or other freight forwarder would be the few choices...

GearBest Has it as well...
Mind you I bought the 128GB / 8GB Version as I find no need for a 1TB / 8GB phone. Having 1TB would be cool but I barely hit into the 128GB... :good:
so yeah at this point, Aliexpress and GearBest are your choices. I will be doing a review of the phone VS. OP6 hopefully today and will post.
I did manage to have swappa open a page for the R1 as well, so we may see one pop up on there

That's sweet... its a good phone for a Chinese Import... easy to setup, can get android services on it easy, notifications work for the most part... the normal items that people get hung up on with getting a phone not released in Europe or the US. Only issue is no Google Pay, but I have an Samsung S3 watch so I just use that as a workaround instead. Lots more to comment on but will save for review!

Yep. Everyday I use it liking it more and more. I’ll be working on finishing my review thread today. So far, excellent phone stayed tuned! :highfive:
The one thing I did grab was the official Smartisan clear tpu case & a tempered glass screen protector. Since it's only GG3 on the screen. I was informed that they had changed/improved the glass over the rear cameras cause I read they we're scratching easily with first run models. So I figured better safe than sorry haha.
As for notifications I'm getting my notifications without issue so far . I already like this phone better than the Nex S it replaced.

I'm actually rocking it with the adapted Android P Launcher... gonna have to try Nova... I just like having the feed page... was originally a big fan and always installed HTC Sense Launcher with Blinkfeed to my phones, but that's no longer sustainable. Having the assistant card feed page to the left of the homescreen has been the closest thing I can find but I'm willing to try anything...

I haven't tried the P launcher ,the only issue I had with nova was the Google search bar used the Chinese search not Google. So all I had to do was remove the search that shows up with Nova, and replaced with Google widget. I like my home screen fairly simple I guess lol

Good afternoon all, yes I acquired mine last week from https://zendrian.com/collections/smartisan/products/smartisan-r1
Got it delivered yesterday, I must say it's a nice piece of kit, smooth & fast, most of the bloatware all uninstalled, I ordered the 6-64gb version and complained when it wasn't sent when they said it was and they sent me the 6-128gb instead, impressed I was. Only issue is the screen protector it doesn't seem to stick to the screen, I have let them know so I'll wait and see before ordering a new one.

You'll definitely want that screen protector especially if you have polarized sunglasses... the polarizer on the lcd was applied optimally in the wrong direction causing the screen to appear black with sunglasses on in the vertical orientation. Placing a tempered screen protector or film on the screen seems to reverse this... I had trouble putting mine on as well. I ordered like 5 from aliexpress. just waiting to receive. I have the 128GB / 8GB version, super fast and smooth. Wish I could have found the 512GB / 8GB version, as I was not going to pay $1000+ for the 1TB version. Make sure you don't overlook the idea pills and one step features. I at first said "what is this...?" and disabled them... after watching a couple videos on them, I immediately turned them back on and haven't looked back since. Both are awesome features. 3rd party launchers are easy to install and getting notifications, which are typically hard to setup correctly on China born phones, are super simple to setup and work great. I'm impressed! :highfive:

I've two ordered off ebay, I got no joy off customer services but they did gimme a free upgrade I suppose, my screen protector is stuck on with tiny blobs of blu-tac ??, the pills & steps are not for me tho maybe in a while I'll try them again, on the notification front Gmail won't pop up, I have to manually refresh if I think I've new mail, I've been into settings and changed the screen off part to never but still no difference, any ideas oh while I think of it font size in chrome stays the same size even tho I've changed the font size in Chrome accessibility settings even up to 200% but no dice font on screen stays the same.
But yeah it's a fantastic piece of kit well impressed with it, even call reception downloads everything flies along.

Here's what I did... I use Inbox for Gmail but same principle for gmail.
1. Under apps in settings, see if you can make gmail the default mail app.
2. hit the square to get to task manager and you'll see all your open apps, find gmail and instead of closing it using the "X" press and hold until its "pinned"
3. I believe under power settings or apps, turn off anything that is having the phone manage the app for power and enable that the app itself can start on its own.... unfortunately I'm at work and I can't have my personal phone with me here or I would tell you the exact settings...
Do this for any app you want to receive notifications from all the time. For me, Inbox, Score, Facebook, Facebook Messenger and a few others I did this for and have no problem getting "push" notifications.
If you have trouble finding these in settings, I can maybe post pics later

Anyone know where I can buy the TNT add on in the US?
If you mean by that the 4k touchscreen monitor with the dock (aka TNT workstation) they announced, they haven't released it yet. However, they recommended also a few other monitors for TNT system such as Dell P2418HT touchscreen monitor but it is not 4k.

Feedback regarding touches on 8.12.13

Here's my observation so far after clean flashed 8.12.13 from 8.12.10
-Multi touches/Ghost touch and screen freezes is reduced on 8.12.13 compared to 8.12.10 BUT it's still there and most of the time it happens slightly below the notch and sometimes around the navbar. Playing games causes the notification bar to pop up out of nowhere :\
-Screen flicker is not yet fixed.
-Touch sensitivity isn't the same as 8.12.10 which has the best touch respond time and so smooth and the UI feels heckin smooth but at 8.12.10 there's A LOT
multi touch/ghost touches and screen freezes.
-Aiming in PUBG doesn't feel smooth and snappy as 8.12.10.
-The navbar isn't responsive like in 8.11.15
-Mistouches is still here
Overall touch issues is 'fixed' for me about 80% and this is coming from a user that has been *****ing about touch issues from day 1 so yeah.
Games are somehow more playable.
I know it's beta and I wrote this if anyone or the devs wants know some feedback on this beta
My Pocophone f1 is around September batch and made in China btw.
I wished the devs fixed the multi touch/screen freezes issue while keeping the touch senstivity from 8.12.10 on the next beta update and it'll be perfect (without breaking other parts ofcourse)
Also is there any links to submit a feedback regarding touches? If so please do put it here as I wanna give my feedback
What you mean about flicker not fixed? I have been like crazy trying to find a fix for getting Android Auto to work as it is meant to - currently the device flickers a lot and eventually screen goes blank when using Android Auto.
...haven't tried yet the latest 8.12.13 - just flashed it alone with latest LOS16 and now need to go to car and see if there is any improvements
Yep.
For me, .10 was better than .13

Do give us a feedback after flashing latest LOS16.
I was on 100% stock rom 8.12.13, no problems at all and enjoying it.
Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Tapatalk
My girlfriend tried it on the car and the combination of LOS 16 with Firmware 8.12.13 also with Franco Kernel r7 and with HW overlays disabled in Developer settings seems to have done the trick.
Now I need to remove/disable a few of those things one by one to see what really solved it - my money is on the HW overlays disabled.

Yes. Working now as it should, but still not sure what exactly solved it.

...and sooner I wrote it...
She just called saying that it is flickering again. The only thing that changed there was updating Magisk and rebooting the phone.
I am pretty sure that when you reboot the phone it resets the HW overlay setting in Developer options, so that seems to be the key to the flickering problem.
Would be good to see a more permanent fix than needing to resort to this hack.
Has anyone flashed 8.12.20? Is there any improvement
Xiaomi doesn't have a factory for making phones and their production is also the inventory model, no stocks or parts or phones. They just commission batches of phones at different times for the same models, according to large combined orders, probably in differing workshops if demand is high. So quality can vary.
Xiaomi also make little or as reported no real profit from phones, they use the phones as brand advertising and make money from their numerous branded trinkets. This is a well known fact in the Asian business world. They don't spend tens of millions or billions on advertising like other big names. Their phones' models at cheap prices is their advertising which costs them nothing. This is their strategic PR & primary business model. They also enjoy bothering giants like Apple Google Samsung Huawei ZTE by being market disrupters in this way, cutting their profits by competitive pricing, at cost.
So each batch of Pocophone could, and is probably, a different phone specially if fixing teething problems in the first few months of a new model.
So XDA users giving feedback on all these Pocophone threads about problems with screen, touch, delay, random reboot etc. should give their rough purchase date and seller's identity+location. Otherwise everyone is talking about different phones.
That could be why recent buyers are facing little to no problems. I suspect Xiaomi have been fixing problems by replacing the faulty parts (screens etc) or assembly processes as well as kernel/ROM/drivers with better hardware & software & assembly guidelines. Probably with feedback from here, MIUI forums, etc.
But Xiaomi seem to be doing this secretly, which happened to previous models too, in order not to damage their reputation. So they can claim to problematic users, it's just your problem, Look at others. Did you damage your phone? This adds to the confusion of people talking about (in effect) different Pocophone builds & hardware. This confusion also helps Xiaomi escape blame.
Lesson 1:
When Xiaomi brings out a new phone, wait at least 4 to 6 months, for them to fix teething issues in their haphazardly commissioned assembly batches.
+
It'll be also cheaper by then.
Lesson 2:
There is no standard Pocophone, after a few months the next wave of ordered batches could, and are probably, a different model, a slightly different Pocophone. With evolving parts & code & possibly even different hardware parts. Even if it's just a different assembly workshop or team or process with a different quality control.

Mahn i hear you loud and clear. But when life gives you lemons... you gotta learn to make lemonade rt? Thats why this thread was created. unless and until xiaomi acknowledges this issue its our own problem. What better can we do than to try out their so called 'fixes'. Replacement would be bigger blunder since we would prolly get more defective ones only. Thats simply the reason why i 've asked if there is any improvement with the latest build and i sincerely expect an answer from users like me who experience a genuine issue of ghost touches and freezes that render the phone rather difficult to use in the first place. Others tryn these builds would report them better than last ones as they do not have the issue in the first place.. i believe it is the initial batches of the phones that experience such issues.
Still waiting for a remark..

Yes that's why I really started that post and it got long: to ask people posting to say when they got the phone and preferably location and seller too. Not to mention ROM/drivers/fixes flashed. Then the faulty batch can be traced. But yeah, that is really sneaky of Xiaomi to pretend there was nothing wrong and it is all the users' fault. Then Xiaomi can be told look, the people who bought it at period X got screwed with this fault, by Xiaomi and:
1) What are they going to do about it
+
2) if there are fixes or tips or solutions by guys and girls here too
But a lot of fixes have been found thanks to threads like this or at least Xiaomi have been shown to be at fault, not the poor buyers. So well done Bro.

done, hope something can be done abt this
I think it is only the first few batches of phones that are affected right? Maybe creating a separate thread with this link to report will help to identify more people experiencing similar issues. lodging a mass complaint would make xiaomi to atleast acknowledge the hardware issue...
I just bought this phone for a week. Did not notice any touch issue yet appart from typing error ( might be because im not used to larger screen phone) . Tested official stable and latest open beta. Maybe the issue is there, but because im not into gaming i never noticed that. The only thing that i can confirm is,this phone scrolling is sluggish compared to last year pixel 2. But overal for the price im quite satisfied with this phone. If it could be better, then its wonderful.. cheap and fast phone for us all.
Touch lag issue is back on 8.12.27 firmware.
Why they introduced back it again ?
Anyone have any info ?
You can easily feel difference in keyboard and pubg, and also on edges of screen.

I think below discussion will be helpful
Here is the whole story of tuch issues and screen bleeding issues :-
1) first batch - Xiaomi was using screen from some supplier and it had screen bleeding. (users facing screen bleeding but no touch issues)
2) Second Batch - Later xiaomi changed the whole panel and this time they fixed the screen bleeding but got the touch issues. (users facing touch issues but no screen bleeding like me)
3) Third and latest batch - Later again xiaomi changed the touch panel and this time they fixed all the above issues. (third batch users facing no issues, neither screen bleeding nor touch issues, mostly from outside of India pocophone f1 users and poco f1 users in India having October or later manufactured device)
4) Now xiaomi is trying to fix the touch issue for second batch user by changing kernel values because screen bleeding can't be fixed by software updates.
5) if xiaomi fixes the issues for second batch people by increasing the current supply for touch planel to reduce touch delays by tweaking kernel then first batch people starts having issues like ghost touches because of over sensitivity due to over current values.
6) if xiaomi tries to fix the issues for the first batch people by reducing the current for touch panel again by tweaking kernel values then second batch people starts having issues like touch delay and lake of touch sensitivity because of reduced current values.
7) Meanwhile the third batch people has average values so they don't get affected by any of the above kernel changes so they didn't had any kind of touch issues in any of the build.
8) Because there are three different touch panels being used for poco f1 and each one is using different current values its very difficult to control all of them from the same kernel value or by a universal Rom.
9) Xiaomi can provide the device specific build like different-different kernel values for different touch panel devices.
Disclaimer - Above are my personal observations, nothing is confirmed by xiaomi officials and i may be wrong so don't take it seriously

For me also touch responsiveness seem much better on 8.12.27 than 8.12.20/24.
There was visible lag for me in last builds but now it works much faster.
BTW I read somewhere that they changed the OTA file in morning with same No. 8.12.27 due to some bug. But i just downloaded and flashed the one that's currently available on xiaomi website. Give it a try once again and see it's still giving you touch issue or not, because for me it's working much better compared to previous builds. (though still not as responsive as 10.1.3 stable )
Yes they changed the OTA file. I recently updated and touch seems to be good so please redownload the whole update and update it. They suspended the morning build and know its live again with the new tweaked kernel with the same number 8.12.27 and it doesn't have touch issue and icon flickering is also gone

Touch latency

I was having a tough time typing fast on the phone and made a post about it earlier. Trying to look for the issue, I came across these
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/9ntl73/is_your_device_affected_by_touch_latency_issues/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/a1m7ao/xiaomi_mi_a2_touch_latency/
Surprisingly, the behaviour is quite similar to these threads here. I request xda users with a redmi note 7/ 7 pro to carry out this small test of trying to type the words 'qu' and 'scope' fast (if possible, try to run this test a few times with space after each qu and scope, say 10 times, so that we can be sure that the results are consistent and do remember to type the same word 10 times consecutively and then move on to the other word and type it ten times consecutively) and report how many times it turns out as uq and scoep on doing so.
Please mention if you tried this test with:
a screen protector installed (also mention the type of screen protector, i.e. tempered glass or plastic) or without one
your device variant (indian or chinese) and
if possible your display manufacturer which should appear after typing *#*#6484#*#* in dialer and going to software information> lcm information
If you have any other devices, try this on them as well and report how it goes, so that we can have some reference points.
For reference my device is redmi note 7 pro indian variant with edge to edge tempered glass protector installed, lcm information: nt36672a shenchao panel.
Hello sir/ma'am, i just tried this "test" and i found no such issues on my device. If it is of any importance, my device is a chinese one.

Both of our devices have panels from the same manufacturer but mine has nt36672a instead.
I am sorry sir/ma'am, i made a typo in my last sentence. The display in my device also has a nt36672a designation. As far as typing scope, no mater how fast i try to type it, it always gets registered without any problems. I can not produce the issue you and some other users are facing.

So far, atleast 3 confirmed cases including mine.
Display: nt26672a video mode dsi shenchao panel.
Screen protector: none.
Device and rom: Chinese
I used Poco F1 which does not have any sort of touch problems. Always wondered that the fuss was about then this N7P.
There is certainly a touch delay which is worse if you use a keyboard with vibration: the mismatch between actual touch and vibration makes it feel like you are using a juice-spilled keyboard. I overcame this issue by greatly reducing strength of vibration and typing a bit slowly.
What still get me is its touch scroll behavior. Short fling, especially bottom to up, does not move screen in a smooth way. Rather, it scrolls a bit then abrupt break. Worse is when you are using Instagram. When you swipe left or right to see the next picture, it will show about 1/4 of it then jump back to previous one. Very annoying. Overall, it feels like I am using a phone with outdated CPU.
With Poco F1, this sort of touch problems were addressed heavily which lead Xiaomi to come up with fixes. I do not expect that will be the case with N7P. I am hoping that changing touch friction and scroll fling values in buildprop would at least make it less annoying. I may try that once I get unlocked.
I do not have the same issue, I use SwiftKey as my keyboard though if that makes any difference.
Have the RN7 Pro Chinese version with no screen protector.
I can't get the screen info, when I copy / paste the code and dial it does not complete?
That being said I have felt as if SwiftKey is a little laggy on my previous phone and it's better on the RN7 Pro - although not as smooth as on my Mi 5 I use to have.

I don't use vibrate on keypress but I still face the issue.
For Instagram, I just downloaded it to check that out and I too experience that sometimes it does not move to the next image and even moves backwards/to the previous image instead. One more thing I noticed was, on Instagram, when you go to explore and are checking posts which have 'more' (large amount of text and hence the option to read 'more') in their descriptions, it often jumps to the next post instead of allowing you to read more of what is written in the description, almost feels like the touch accuracy is off or might be just an Instagram thing.
Scrolling is also a bit inconsistent, on short flings, it sometimes moves downwards and then upwards a bit and at times it scrolls in the opposite direction (but that is rare).

Yes, that is the issue. It is too bad that the phone failed QC this bad; otherwise, it would have been a great phone.
BTW, is your phone unlocked? Are you using a Chinese version of the phone. I am wondering if changing to Indian rom or different roms would fix this issue.

Quite similar experience to mine except mine has a tendency to miss a's instead of e's.
Indian variant here, with shenchao panel, touch latency issues are there typing scope faster makes it scoep and also 4-5 times out of 10 times typing qt makes it tq
I have installed screen protector though
Issues are similar to my friends pocofone

Oppo Find X2 Pro display issue

Hello, does anyone have a problem with green tint on Oppo the same as OnePlus 8 pro have. Interesting i had OnePlus 8 pro and have problems with green tint
I have sam problem with my Oppo Find X2 Pro. First didn't believe but after realised that have same problem. I bought another one and much lower but still exists. That can be noticeable on Chrome dark theme on 10-15% level brightness
No I am ok with my CPH2025 UAE model.
No Problem here too CPH2025 EU
Very strange,i am glad that you don't have any issue,my device is EU model from Germany, both of them have same problem. First one have much more issue than this one. Both of them i unpack, new sealed...at day light it's hard to see but you must be in absolute dark environment and open Chrome, dark mode, close all tabs and bring device to 10-15% brightness. And watch carefully display colour. Is it all grey or have some variations to another colour, somewhere lighter somewhere darker?

Agree man. But i am wondering is there any device without that problem i will get it ???. But if all are effected it's ok than.
Everyone that tells you that they don't have an issue are either lying or ignorant. Also you think it's bad now? Turn on DC Dimming (Low-brightness flicker-free eye comfort) and then have a look ?
OP8/Pro and Find X2/Pro have the same Samsung display, even S20 variants and Note20 have the same grey low brightness uniformity issue it just depends how well they hide it. Supposedly the technology for AMOLED screens isn't up to par to keep the quality consistent at 120 Hz refresh rate. Now don't misunderstand me - it isn't right and I don't feel like playing silicon lottery with my 1000€ device and if someone gets proof the issue is here because of cutting costs I'm all for class action lawsuit/forcing them to make a new and better batch but so far it seems like we're part of a screen "beta" test. Still the calibration seems better on the Oppo flagship so get that one if you don't mind the locked bootloader and find a lower priced model.

Agree man with all you said. I feel the same. I paid 1000€ and really don't like to see display like that. As you said do something and hide it ??. 3 x Oppo 1 orange two black have dame issue more or less noticeable 1 of two OnePlus have catastrophic issue but second one i think he have almost no issue . I would like to know is there any way to do to made this gone?

That's what I'm talking about. It's not big deal but we didn't get devices for free. It's pretty nice price. They should fix that
