Hello,
Ive tried out the lowlight and tornadopowercontrol apps, but the problem is that "dim" is too low, and "bright" is too bright!
Is there anyway to change the backlight intensity to between "dim" and "bright"?. Or to change the values of "dim" and "bright" mean?
If these values are fixed, is there a resistor somewhere which can be swapped out to change the intensity? Does this thing use an incandescent or some sort of CFL?
THanks,
Steve
On my Samsung Note 9 and Mate 20 Pro, when viewing HDR content, the phone automatically adjusts to Max brightness for proper viewing. With my Pixel 3, this does not happen and I have to increase the brightness manually to get the full effect. I have adaptive brightness off and I have the YouTube video set to playback at 1080/HDR. Is there anything I'm missing. Can this phone play back HDR properly?
Thanks
Hi there,
Seeking help to lower the brightness level of my Black Shark 2 Pro when in-game.
I can adjust the phone’s brightness before a game but ONCE I play CODM, the screen goes to maximum brightness.
Is there a setting to maintain the (low) brightness I set before a game until when I start playing say, CODM?
This maximum brightness during a game is making my head spin.
Hello everybody.

Go to display settings and increase brightness there
I have a rooted phone and I really like the Night Light feature, but I think it's lacking at times. When you compare it to f.lux it isn't very strong at all... Is there any way to increase the night light intensity in settings beyond the default limit when you have root? I know how to make brightness reaaally low but not night light.
Android Pie by the way
