I live outsite US, i bought code unlock D2G verizon but it doesn't.
I can unlock my D2G to use GSM network my country.
Who do you have tool or software that unlock D2G verizon, please send me.
thanks!
You should really not rely on machine translation when posting...
You could try using TurboSIM to get phone unlocked if you are failing to unlock it with code purchase from internet. TurboSIM, however, is not very reliable as it seems receiving calls with turbo sim is a hit or miss, some people have troubles with losing service after a while, all depends on your operator. However, until somebody comes with a better way to unlock D2G, there is no other alternative as of now. TurboSIM's are cheap and available on ebay generally.
On chinese forums there is a word they can unlock D2g, but my Chinese is good as far as Google translation can go...
Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using Tapatalk
Yeah, Ive been looking for a software unlock myself, but it seems there is none yet. Like the post above me said, use turboSIM. I myself am going to be getting one and giving it a try.
My one concern is, does the turbosim actually stick to the other sim, or is the sim just put "on top" of the turboSIM meaning there is nothing holding them together. Reason is, while some phone have sim slots faced down, the sim slot on the droid 2 global requires a sim to be slided into place. Maybe both dont get aligned properly which causes unstable signal.
do u get a refund after the code failed?
send back to seller to get it unlock
Hey, everyone!
I was perusing the forums for sim unlocking an HTC 7 pro. Many years have passed since I adquired my 8125, and it is still serving me faithfully. Yes, it is still working
Back then we just had to flash the roms, I think the radio part did the trick, and then phone was thus unlocked.
But the couple of hours I spent today looking for some insight only led me to 3rd party sites which charge money for sim unlocks. Those require the carrier to be mentioned in order for them to provide an unlocking code. So I can't just buy a phone off ebay and expect to get a code from those sites. US cellular, for instance, is never listed on them. Besides, $25 is not bucks where I live >.>
Is that really how SIM unlockings are handled here now, or have I just been really unlucky with my skimmings and searches?
TYVM, have a great day!
I believe there is no free option in order to get the HTC 7 Pro unlocked, unless you can get the seller to call their cell phone provider to get the code. Most, if not all, windows phones don't have a free option to unlock but I could be wrong on that. But if you already have a HTC 7 Pro I think you're gonna have to cough up some cash and use some unlocking websites...
Well, thanks for the straight answer.
Oh, no, I don't have one, yet. I was thinking of Buying one off Ebay, used and locked. It is harsh having to pay for switching carriers, but maybe that is what they had intended with their locking in the first place
Hmmm. Do you know, by chance, if this is the norm for smartphones recently, not being able to sim unlock them at home? Or is this device special for that matter? or was it not popular enough to tinker with it?
TY, again. Peace
I wouldn't say your device special in regards to that, all phones come SIM locked. Its just some android phones are easier to unlock during the process of rooting phones. I know for my old HTC touch running windows, it was easy to unlock since you basically had to move a couple files. I think windows 7 in general makes it harder in general to unlock as opposed to android.

you should post your own thread if you have any questions...yes you can unlock your phone to work with your network provider.
Just wondering if anyone knew how long, after purchasing their phone, does the "IMEI database" get updated? I've been trying for about 3 weeks since the day I bought my One X to get it unlocked only to be told my code is unavailable.
I think it's dependent on your carrier, some carriers won't let you unlock your bootloader ala AT&T... I'm sure there are others but that seems to be the most popular
Which is why there's SuperCID tool

He's talking about SIM unlock, not bootloader unlock.
As for the official SIM unlock for this phone, as far as I know, it can take up to 6 months before AT&T will allow you to unlock your phone, especially for a flagship phone like the HOX. I would search around and see if there are any cheap, pay-for SIM unlock solutions in the meantime.

Per AT&T policy and a class action settlement, they will not provide a SIM unlock code for 10 months after a phone's release. You also need to be an account holder in good standing for at least 90 days.
If the OP is an AT&T customer, best bet is to use a paid unlock service. Folks on here have gotten the code from eBay and other online places for as low as $4.
Thanks to all who replied...I've called AT&T and they say they wont provide the unlock until November. I've tried EBay, cellunlocker, and countless others with all saying my code was not found. I read somewhere on here that it takes about a month for this so called "database" to get updated. Just wondering if there's any truth to that.
I've always gotten mine for free from AT&T directly, but never paid attention to how long into my ownership though. My question is how are the paid services guys doing it, and why hasn't an individual or group here (lots of collective brainpower) reverse engineered the process and make a killing at half the cost?
I bought my phone July 1, and AT&T told me that they would not unlock it until December. My account has been in good standing for years, but they just won't do it. If you look on their support site, they claim that if the phone is new and exclusive that they won't unlock it for up to 10 months.
I wasn't able to get my Skyrocket unlocked from them either. Way easier to just put out a couple extra dollars and get the code online. Luckily the first eBay unlocker I tried had the code and it only cost me $2.

Do you remember which unlocker you purchased the code from? Was is it for the SR or the HOX? I've tried Unlockfusion from eBay and got nothing.

cellunlockworld11 was the seller. I looked and they currently don't have the listing up anymore. Transaction went really well. Paid my $2.89 via paypal and I had my unlock code within 5 minutes.
Hi just purchased my idol 3 from koodo in Canada it was locked and was wondering if anyone has a good place for unlocking? Thanks
If it's showing sim locked you should return it. Alcatel would have no reason to lock it since they are not selling the phone via a carrier....if you ended up getting one someone fiddled with previously it's possible they managed to lock it....you won't find any place setup to unlock the idol 3 since it's intended to be sold unlocked.
In Canada they only sell with carriers. Telus koodo and bell. I put my wife's rogers sim in my koodo phone and asked for a unlock code. Even when you go to purchase a phone on alcatel website you can only purchase from the cell companies in Canada that offer the phone. We cannot purchase from Alcatel.
There might be an unlocking company online that will charge to unlock it. Or a company that will ship a US version to CA.

Other canadians here have identified their phones as the 6045i (when everyone was uploading their stock firmware) so it's the same model as USA.
If the Canadian is locked, then it would still be beneficial to get a US version or paying for an unlock code or service.
Thanks for the help guys. Sucks that the Canadian model is locked. But not surprised. Lol
Def locked when bought from a Canadian carrier. They lock everything except the nexus phones...even when bought at full price.
I'd try cell unlocker or some other 3rd party unlock service. Telus/Koodo charges $50 for an unlock code.

For that much would be cheaper to purchase in usa...have shipped to friend in usa then reshipped to canada....can then flash the stock canadian firmware we have online.
Yeah, Canada's wireless is borked... The CRTC did change all the rules and did force the carriers to provide a way to unlock in a contract and immediately unlock when you purchase the device in full, the only problem is, the morons forgot to add the part where the carriers should have to do it for free, when you own the device. So, now they can still charge... looks a lot like it did before, with just more pointless words in the act.
The free part was unlikely to be an oversight. It was probably the most requested part of the code of conduct. They stopped short of free and price controls when it came to unlocks.
Bit of a shame, I think if a contract has been fulfilled, they should do it for free.
At least there's a trend lately of affordable high performance phones... Hopefully that leads to fewer phones bought on contract up here. Many normal customers just aren't aware if the "device balance" mark up, and plan mark ups. Better off paying outright.
Hello all, I just purchased a P20 Pro - CLT-L09 (C783), but I'm getting a "SIM network unlock NCK" screen when I insert my SIM card. I'm in the US, and the device was purchased via eBay from the Dominican Republic. I'm not sure if that's where it originated from as there's absolutely no branding. Even the splash screen is just Huawei.
What's the best way to get this usable on a GSM (AT&T) network? Should I try dc- unlocker or some others?

Thanks sajibcy! Looks like mine is also locked to EE - which service did you use? I'm seeing 6-8 day turn around times and $30/USD.
