quoted from the expansys support forum:
Hard reset without program:
1) Press Power Button and Reset Button together and release them at the same time.
2) Immediately before device starts to reboot, press and hold End Call Button for about 15 seconds until the "Erase all data and loads defaults ?" screen appears.
3) To make the REALLY hard-reset, you have to choose YES at the first question, so the second won't even appear.

I've got an Evolio EvoTab Fun ( 1GHz Allwinner( Boxchip) A10 proccessor, HDMI out, microsd slot, microUsb port; which I tried to root and managed to do so successfully.
The problem arised when I tried to push a couple of different recoveries, so I can make a full rom dump. First I pushed a recovery for the Allview AllDro Speed , which didn't work, except for booting into it. Anything you tried to do got you stuck.
Next I pushed a Nexus 7 recovery ( Yes, I know. Very stupid of me. ) and now the tablet doesn't start.
If I leave it a while for the battery to discharge completely, when I plug it into the charger, it gives me the charging animation, and if I press the On button, the backlight comes on, but that's all, if I press the On button again, it just shuts down and won't respond to any button, not even the charging animation when plugged in. I have a system dump, but I can't get it recognized by adb ( ubuntu ).
Can someone please help me ?

Hi there,
I share your pain.
However, there is a way to recover it.
option 1.
If in Romania, send it to Evolio service (see www.evolio.ro). They can reflash it under warranty, or if this does not apply, it will cost you 50Ron (~10E) to do it AND you get back under warranty, if any remained.
option 2.
Download LiveSuit application (v1.07, just google it) and a modified .img file for alldro speed S tablet from http://www.filehost.ro/29137289/Evotab_Fun_4_0_4_ES_v2_img/
Note: this image was not made by me, it was made by user eugen_secuiu from the ALLVIEW ALLDRO PRODUCTS FORUM.
In my case i could not activate the wireless and had to re-flash the official image under warranty.
Hope you get it back to a working state.
If you got another solution meanwhile please share
Regards.
Thanks a lot.
Nu mă aşteptam să-mi răspundă chiar un român.
I'll try reflashing with the LiveSuit app.
LE: Had a hard time figuring out what drivers to install ( Installed Bootloader drivers ) LiveSuit says no device found. couldn't jump to update mode.
Could you explain more on a step-by-step basis please?

Does anyone here know how to get recovery mode on Evotab 3?
Hi there!
Unfortunately the only possible recovery for a Evolio tablet is getting rid of the piece of ...
I gave mine away, for free, and moved to something better documented and supported by the dev community (mt6577 cpu).
Evolio makes appliances, like a fridge or cofee maker, not Open-source developement driven tablets...i sincerely have a lot more customization options on my 20yo motorcycle then i ever had on their product.
At 5 year warranty they officially announce there will be no updates for it AND refuse to supply the original ROM. img... plus the bullsh.t reasons like: it's not compatible with JB or my favourite "we don't supply the original installation image because we don't want you to break your tablet" :banghead:
... i'll buy another Evolio tablet when they'll come as cereal boxes gifts

Hey,
Please answer as much as possible:
1) Can you see the LG logo ? (when starting up. Try on full charge)
2) Can you get to the download mode ?
3) did you download the kdz file ? (follow http://www.lg-phones.org/how-to-flash-unbrick-lg-g-pro-2-with-a-kdz-firmware.html
4) if you can install using kdz method it will be much easier as the software does all the work . So install all the tools mentioned in the site and see if it can detect the phone.
All the best :good:
EDIT:
Step 1: Enter Download mode (You should be able to enter by pressing Volume Up + Power key. hold for 15seconds)
Step 2: Download kdz file for your model
Step 3 Use LG Flash Tool 2014 (Works 100%)
Follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190 in detail.
I tried it.

Hello Friends, has you may know there is no ROM for lg Bello 2 !! But I have Good News you Can Flash the ROM from x155, x160, 165 ,165g on bello 2 (x150)
LG BELLO 2 Flash Tutorial
1. You will need original firmware (This one is for lg max and its android 5.0 not 5.0.2 but works !) - Rom Download below !
2. You will need Smart Phone Flash Tool (version 5 and up or will not work !)
3. You will need Teck VCOM SERIAL USB DRIVERS. tehnotone.com/windows-10-mtk-vcom-usb-drivers-for-32-64-bit-drivers-installation- (follow the installation, steps this is very important and if you are in windows 10 you will need to remove driver signature to be able to install, just google it !)
3. Now start Smart Phone Flash Tool and load scatter MT6582_Android_scatter.txt from the downloaded firmware folder.
4. The flashing process :
- Take out the battery from the phone.
- On the SPF Tool list select files all the files.
- Click Download button on the app
- Connect your phone to PC via working USB cable.
- Now just wait a couple of minutes
5. Unplug the phone, put the battery in, and try to power it on. Hopefully it will boot, slowly, wait and set language etc...like the first time you bought it or after a factory reset. Now there is a reason for joy
6. if your language does´t show just use Language Enabler from the app store to enable it !
Download !
If you have any question here´s my e-mail in the subject type bello 2 !
PS: Sorry for my bad English:

Well, glad to say, I fixed my LG Bello 2 phone.
Several days I have searched Internet for solution and found one that worked.
My device was soft-bricked(can't turn it on, practically dead rock)
So I am writing this to help others that suffer the same problem to revive their phones also. Folks like me that prefer entry level phones don't like to waste money on buying a new device
To begin... Phones like LG Bello 2 (LG MAX, LG Prime 2), x150, x155, x160, x165 are practically the same. These versions are sold all around the world and are basically the same phone, just with lite variations. In the core of each one of them is a Chinese MTK 6582 chip. This is very important !!!
Nice China manufacturers have put some neat functions into this chip so it can be flashed with right tools and unbricked easy ...if one knows what he is doing.
>>>IF THE OPERATION FAILS, I WOULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND ALL I DO HERE IS SHARE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOW-HOW FOR FREE>>>> Btw, consider the option that your phone is hardbricked and has some serious hardware malfunction, so flashing it wont help.
As I mentioned, there is so called META mode for MT65xx based phones and it is used for flashing firmwares.
These are the steps how I did it:
1. You will need original firmware in "scatter" form. Basically it is a folder with system and android backup files and a scatter file that is something like a "grocery list". I couldn't find x150 firnware so i downloaded one for x165. You may find it by name(STOCK ROM LGX165g-00-V10a), or search for some other version.( I hope someone will put original x150 firmware for download on XDA forums soon...)
2. You will need software called Smart Phone Flash Tool and it is used for flashing MT6582 chips. Go to the spflashtool.com page. It works on Windows or Linux. For win you will need drivers.
3. Drivers are special for this purpose and called Media Teck VCOM SERIAL USB DRIVERS. You can download the drivers on previous page or at tehnotone.com/windows-10-mtk-vcom-usb-drivers-for-32-64-bit-drivers-installation-tutorial page where the installation process is explained nicely... and be sure to check "preloader usb driver". You will know what I am talking about when the moment comes.
3. Now start the application and load scatter MT6582_Android_scatter.txt from the downloaded firmare folder. The app will then load all necessary files and prepare them for flashing. In the list there are many files, and by the names you could presume what they are for. The PRELOADER file is very important as it is device specific and if you are not sure that you downloaded the right firmware, you should skip it. It is used for mapping your phones internal memory, so if you flash wrong one...well my phone was already dead so I had nothing to lose.
4. The flashing process :
- Take out the battery from the phone, it is not needed.
- On the SPF Tool list select files (I had to check and flash them one by one because of some errors)
- Click Download button on the app
- Press and hold Vol down button (This is a mighty Chinese secret to trigger META mode)
- Connect your phone to PC via working USB cable.
In couple of moments flashing should start, and you can release Vol down button. Watch pretty colors on the progress bar and wait for it to finish. (Btw in some other phones it is needed to short circuit test points on the motherboard to initiate META mode, so I am very happy this is not the case with Bello 2)
5. Unplug the phone, put the battery in, and try to power it on. Hopefully it will boot, slowly, wait and set language etc...like the first time you bought it or after a factory reset. Now there is a reason for joy
If you fail at some point, recheck your steps, think, search for solutions on the Internet and do it again.
Now, remember: Your phone could be damaged in some other way, so this procedure won't work.
Anyway, at least you tried to do something. Just prepare yourself, arm with knowledge and be focused.
I would be glad to know if I helped you bring your phone to life and saved your money, so don't be lazy and hit Thanks button if all goes well :good:
Kind regards, everyone.
..and still waiting for that CM ROM for Bello ll :victory:

I try to update to Nougat. But Kang nougat it's only for AL10. So, i debrand to AL10 and install finally KANGVIP B580 for AL10. Rom was booting, but i got several problems during flash with TWRP 3.1.1.

I tried reflash the rom B380, but still the same issue with SIM port.
I tried to reflash MM rom, but i failed, I tried the 3 buttons method with update.app but it failed....
Now, the phone doesn'boot, no way to boot in recovery, and the worth, now i'm unable to flash anything in fastboot. Each time i try to do something in fastboot, i got : FAILED (command not allowed)...

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, when i saw that every command failed on fastboot, i thought, maybe my phone has still an unlocked bootloader even if it showed on the white screnn "phone unlock".
At this time, I was still able to boot on fastboot.
I've tried an other unlocking with fastboot, but after the reboot, no way, block on the screen "you phone has been unlocked and can't be trust..." no boot, impossible to boot on recovery, but the worst, imposssible to boot on fastboot!!!
I've tried everything, i'm blocked on "you phone has been unlocked and can't be trust..."
Yet, I think i can say that it is definitely a bricked phone... My first in 7 years, since my first android phone (galaxy spica)

I'm sure you're wrong, if your phone can go to fastboot mode, bootloader locked or unlocked, you can unbrick it with dc-phoenix, I've done it, so you can.
Just try with free dc-phoenix login test, if your phone is recognized, you'll just have to pay 15€ and unbrick it.

Now, the phone doesn'boot, no way to boot in recovery, and the worth, now i'm unable to flash anything in fastboot. Each time i try to do something in fastboot, i got : FAILED (command not allowed)...

No problem, you quote message which was posted yesterday morning... I totally brick the phone yesterday evening... When i post first time, i was still able to boot in fastboot, but not yet...

How did you lose even the fastboot mode?
Have you tried eRecovery through WIFI?
Have you tried to recover through Hi Suite?
If you still need help on this: Maybe you forgot to connect your phone to a PC before entering fastboot with power + volume down?
Device is still bricked. I can now boot on fastboot. Also I can boot on recovery and even in TWRP.
But, impossible to flash anything else than recovery, boot or system on fastboot. In TWRP, unable to flash anything. Always prompt the same message "unable to mount data" or "invalid user argument" .
Also tried to update with stock recovery with dload method but unable to find the right file.
I'm lost in flash... I don't know where I am... Al10 or L29, nougat or mm I've tried so many things...

Sounds like you messed up pretty badly - like I did recently.
If you are completely lost like this, but can now boot to fastboot again, you may want to start over using this guide. You'll have to pay 15 bucks for it, but for me it worked like a charm. Obviously, I can't guarantee anything, but here's how it worked for me, step by step. I hope it works out for you, too. :fingers-crossed:

Sounds like you messed up pretty badly - like I did recently.

I tried, and it failed.
Sorry to hear that. I just thought I'd mention it, 'cause it worked so well for me.
Maybe we'll figure it out: If you followed the guide, at which step did it fail? Did you get an error message and if so, where did it come from and what does it say? Are you sure you used the right stock / custom ROM for your device?
