Check for the charging current by using any 3rd party app.accu battery for example. It should be around 1-2 amp per hour
Or you can install some battery profile

If the issue still persists,it could be hardware issue mostly charging board or the battery

Mi4i features fast charging. Can you suggest a better charger than 5v-2a charger?
Apple iPhone charger shows up as a fast charger for me.
fast charging is supported but the charger in the box is a normal one. (5v2a)
can anyone try out with the proper fastcharge2.0? (9v1.2a)
Donnt have one...would definitely love to get the feedback from someone who tested it first hand!
how do you see it 'shows up' as a fast charger?
are there any indication?
Mi4i FAQ http://en.miui.com/thread-122548-1-1.html
50. Does my Mi4i have Quick Charge feature? If yes, then which version does it support?
A: The Mi4i has Quick Charge 1.0, which explains the slow charging rate some users have been complaining about. The Mi4i takes roughly 2 hours 30 minutes to fully charge for me

And FYI, http://www.gsmarena.com/charge_test-review-1239p2.php
Quick Charge 1.0 was introduced in 2012 and it made use of a 5V/2A charger, which could charge a phone up to 40% faster than conventional 5V, 1A chargers. That boost accounts for a 10W max charging power.

Thus the original 2A charger that comes with phone is the fastest charger supported.

Hi
I have a charger from a broken Umi Zero is a 5v 2,4A, can I use it for charging the mi4i ?
thanks
Hi,
I'm not sure, if Mi4i really support QC 2.0 but the chipset does.

[Tips & Tutorials] Quickcharge 2.0 Explained. Yes! the one featured on Mi4i!
It clearly states the Snapdragon 610 has QC 2.0 support. And the battery pack can charge at 5V 2A.

Xiaomi Mi 4c Charging Analysis Part-2
I just bought Tronsmart TS-WC1Q and I must confirm almost the same results as with original Xiaomi charger for Mi4i. Charging current with Tronsmart charger is about 1,44A and voltage is stable about 5,2V. I'm not sure, if I can determine from these results, if its support QC 1.0 or 2.0. Next time I will try to measure the time from 0->40% of battery and compare original and Tronsmart charger. Anyway I think it matters also on the ROM/kernel you are currently using. I'm on RESURRECTION REMIX with Sensei kernel v1.3.2-dev kernel.
I m on cm13, it looks like qc2.0 is supported. I used a China charger (9v1.2a). It charged fully charged up from 0 to 100% in 1hr and 40 min.
i have tried
i have tried qualcomm's fast charging 2 it works well.
How fast is Mi 4i supposed to be? I've bought orico quick charger 2.0 and it does about 1.5 hr to be fully charged. Do I need to install something to make it faster?
Hello there,
I recently switched over from CM12.1 (SultanXDA) to Oxygen OS because I was getting major echoing. Now that I'm on Oxygen OS, the echoing is gone, but the charging is very slow. On a 1A charger, I was getting around 50mA at 10% battery and 500mA on a 2A charger. This is on stock Oxygen OS with superSu, xposed, and the Boeffla kernel. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I was thinking that maybe the ROM requires the stock charger to charge at reasonable speeds, but it seems to charge more quickly on my 2A charger than my 1A charger. I'm thinking this could have to do with the ROM demanding a certain voltage stability and lowering the charge rate until it gets that stability, but that's just a guess. Heowp would be nice :3.
same issue
same issue here:crying:, rocking sultanXDA's CM12.1. having less than 500Ma with official adapter and cable. Tested with Note2's charger, charge at less than 400Ma, Any1 can help on this ?
thanks
Earlier today i noticed that my p2 is not showing fast charging or double volts while charging.. But my phone charged in the same amount of time as it does in fast charging... What should i do?

Are you using a custom rom? On RR mine is fast charging but it doesn't say so. I checked with a usb power meter, it was at roughly 12V 2A.

No its stock rom and no root.. 7.0 nougat latest update
When battery temperature is above some level fast charging is disabled, don't use your phone while charging, check wakelocks, cpu usage and use original charger

Hi! It works on miui, but on crdroid I only get 15 watts
Maybe there is some solution?
No problem for me. Did you use custom kernel?
Perhaps try using different cable or charger?
What kernel do you suggest so I can charge my device using 33watts?

How do you obtain the reading of the watts with which your equipment is in charge? because I use crdroid and when I connect my charger it comes out fast charging and in 1 hour it charges to 95 from 10%
I am using the original 67W Charger - Plugged in shows 67W Max on screen, but takes 1 hour 15 mins to charge from 14% to 100%. Tried a few times.
Checked on Ampere - 1990mAh (It should be around 3500mAh to 5000mAh I guess and more..)
Mix Fold - 13.1.21.0 SLRCNXM
checked with a Mi 33W Charger, still it charges on 1990mAh
Please share your thoughts.. do I have to enable any option?
