Htc one a9s rebooting over and over all the time. Need help! - HTC One A9s Questions & Answers

Hello to all forum users.
Today I come with an inquiry and a request for help with my phone.
The situation is as follows:
I wanted to enter the Android recovery mode by typing in the console the command: adb reboot recovery. Unfortunately, after entering the command, my phone turned into the expected option, turned off and now turns on and off constantly, nothing reacts when it comes to power + volume up / down, and nothing is displayed on it, i.e. the HTC logo. And all that is is, it vibrates every 10 seconds. When I try to connect the charger to the phone, the charging diode is very delayed (10-15 seconds) and the same when disconnecting the charger.
Thank you in advance for every hint on what to do in this case to make the phone work again

[Q] Nexus S will not boot

Hi guys
Firstly, I apologize if this thread is a duplicate, but I couldn't find my issue after some searching.
Loadout: Nexus S, CyanogenMod 9, Rooted, SetCPU range 100 - 1000 (set on boot).
Symptoms: Phone will not boot to any screen at all, if given power via battery or USB the screen flashes on/off continuously. When pressing power button (along with any combo of up/down volume) screen stays on but does not boot up.
Recent activity that may/may not be the cause: Had the phone on charge for a few hours, was at/close to 100%. Shut down the phone to reboot into bootloader and the symptoms outlined above started.
Possible solution outlined in this thread
productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/mobile/1GwW_o6xqos
which states that warming the device up may help it boot. I am currently trying to warm it up by placing it close to my laptops vent while it is running graphics heavy program.
I would appreciate any help you guys can give me.
Regards
splinter701
What seemed to work is me plugging it into power then putting the battery in, then pressing the power button.

[Completed] GT-N7000 stuck in both Welcome & Recovery mode!

Hi guys,
this is my first post on this comprehensive website which helped a lot in the past by reading slimmer issues and their fixes,
now I have hard one, my oldie Galaxy note, GT-N7000, stopped working with the following symptoms,
The phone suddenly stopped, black screen, I removed the battery for a minute, put it back, pressed power button the phone stuck on Welcome Samsung logo screen,
removed the batteries for a minute, pressed the 3 combination Home+Power+up the phone give the first screen of recovery Waring " A custom OS can ......, then two option Volume Up: continue and Volume down to cancel (restart phone), if I press volume down the phone black died! otherwise if I press volume up the phone go to " downloading don't turn off target" stuck forever, no other keys are responding, I had to remove the battery and start again.
when I connect to Kies, refuses the "emergency firmware recovery" as I don't have recovery code, as well as when I use "firmware upgrade and initialization" it prompt me that this device is not supported!
lastly when I am in downloading mode connecting to Kies, the application trying to connect keep circulating like trying to connect with no result.
I charged my both batteries to 100% , changed 3 PC's, used different usb cables, nothing worked.
If you have an idea to share, I would be much grateful

[SOLVED] Tried to install TWRP and bricked my phone

Hello everyone
Please help me
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 Dual D6633 with Android 4.4.4
Firmware is D6633_23.0.F.1.74_CE
I tried to install TWRP on my phone using this tutorial
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/root-stock-kernel-twrp-v01-test-28-09-t2889794?__utma=248941774.950623471.1412017766.1412017766.1412017766.1&__utmb=248941774.1.10.1412017766&__utmc=248941774&__utmx=-&__utmz=248941774.1412017766.1.1.utmcsr=l.facebook.com%7Cutmccn=(referral)%7Cutmcmd=referral%7Cutmcct=/lsr.php&__utmv=-&__utmk=228295838
Since the links in the thread are down it was hard for me to get the bootZ3dualmonxtest01.img file
But after an hour of googleing finally I got it from another Android forum https://mdforum.ru/showthread.php?t=16534
Then, as mentioned in the tutorial I went into bootloader / fastboot mode and entered following command
fastboot flash boot bootZ3dualmonxtest01.img
But it didn't work. Now my phone is bricked. It's powered off and I can't turn it on again
It doesn't respond to anything
Pressing Powerbutton - Nothing
Pressing Power + Volume Up/Down - Nothing
Hold Volume down and connect to PC - Nothing
Connect to 230V Adapter for charging - Nothing
ADB doesn't recognize the phone
Flashtool responds "Device disconnected"
So I can't flash back stock ROM
Please help me out. What went wrong? How can I fix it? Is it repairable or is my phone hard bricked?
Thank you for your answers
Edit:
After several hours of googleing and trying I found a solution that worked for me
Great thanks to StuartjG who posted the steps in this thread

If someone else hase a similar problem this is what worked for me:

My Z3 would not power up and no charge LED when cable plugged in. Finally found this solution on Sonymobile support website which fixed my phone!
To force the device to restart
Detach the SIM card slot cover.
Using the tip of a pen or similar object, press and hold down the small OFF button (generally indicated by the text "OFF") until the device has emitted three vibrations, and then release the OFF button. The device turns off automatically.
Charge the device until a charging icon appears on the screen.
Turn on your Xperia™ device.
If a forced restart procedure as described above doesn't succeed in turning on your device, you should try another kind of forced restart - the 2-minute restart procedure.
To force a 2-minute restart
Detach the SIM card slot cover.
Using the tip of a pen or similar object, press and hold down the small OFF button (generally indicated by the text "OFF") for 120 seconds (ignoring any vibrations), and then release the OFF button.
Charge the device until a charging icon appears on the screen.
Turn on your Xperia™ device.
I had to hold the 'off' button for about 60 seconds before the phone vibrated and sprung into life - phew!

In my case there were no vibrations. I just held the button down for 120sec and it worked. Then I was able to flash back stock ROM

Zenfone 5 Selfie/Lite (ZC600KL) stuck on ASUS logo

Hello! I could not find a section for my phone, so I am posting here.
My Zenfone 5 Selfie/Lite (ZC600KL) randomly "bricked". After being left alone charging for 20 minutes, when I came back it was turned off. Holding the power button resulted in the phone showing the "Powered by Android" logo, then the ASUS logo, and stop there.
I don't think it's a battery issue as it always lasted a long period of time; this is the first time anything like that happens, and might be the last. I also never tried meddling with my phone (rooting or the likes of it), so I'm pretty much clueless. I messed around with the phone, turning it on and off for a while, letting it run out of battery and charge it again, leaving it stuck on ASUS logo over night, to no avail.
Here are some things that I noticed that might help solve this problem:
1. After I connect the charger, the screen shows an empty charging battery along with the LED showing the red color (which means no battery). After 5 seconds, the screen turns on again by itself to show the true state of the battery, which is whatever % it is right now and the correct LED light (orange/green).
2. Turning on the phone makes the "low battery" buzz followed by a normal vibration. If it's charging, the "No battery" red LED shows.
3. I can turn on the fastboot mode by pressing Volume + and Power, but it only shows "CSC Fastboot mode!!! Long press power key to shutdown device". While on fastboot, my computer recognizes the phone is connected through USB, but I cannot access the phone's storage.
4. Pressing Volume - and Power does nothing besides restarting the phone.
My english isn't the best, so I apologize. If there's anything that I messed up and you can't understand, please do tell me.
P.S: Zenfone 5 Selfie is the same phone as Zenfone 5 Lite, but it is known by both names for some reason. Thanks for reading.

Exactly the same problem and phone I have here and Google research has been useless plus it appears this model phone has many firmware versions also
I have tried flashing firmware in fastboot mode but the ADB and fastboot tools won't work as it shows write protected as it appears bootloader is locked and am struggling with QPST also got so desperate to get phone working I even checked out some of those android repair software like DR fone then realised they want $70 USD and instantly removed the software haha
Hope we can get answers but seems like that maybe no one has solutions for this
