DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Tiffany, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data.
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 17.1 or 18.0
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
I FOUND NONE
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

best rom mi5x so far, thanks to still use 3.18 kernel, its more stble than 4.9 kernel.

Problems with the 6 April version; clean flashed, 'Android system' error message on start-up. It then reboots.

Me too facing this problem.

I flashed the crDroidAndroid-9.0-20190528-tiffany-v5.4.zip image to my Mi 5X using TWRP but the device just boots up to a black screen. Eventually it makes sounds as if booted, but still no display.
Can anyone give advice on the above?

Download the DotOS zip and copy to your external sd card
Download/Install firmware with the latest version of Moto Flash Tool
(this tool also prepares the b slot for custom rom installation)
Boot to the start/welcome screen
Power off and reboot to the bootloader/fastboot interface (power and volume down)
Install TWRP to slot a and slot b:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
fastboot flash recovery_b TWRP.img
BOOT TWRP
FORMAT DATA!!
Flash the DotOS zip
REBOOT TO TWRP!!
Reboot to system

I installed this mod thanks to the developers!!!!the only drawback that I have identified (except nfc) is that in some applications, the fingerprint input does not work.I hope to find a solution how to fix it!

It needs to be fixed in the build, i will pass it on to the developers for the next update

hi, so there is still hope that nfc will be fixed?and another small drawback in the screen settings is that there is no display frequency switch-there are usually 3 options of 60Hz 90Hz or auto.thank you for your hard work!!

I found crDroid version 9.2 from "kousickdey2003" (https://sourceforge.net/projects/kousick-android-project/files/ROMs/) it's ok. You will be thrown to the lock screen when you press the internet QS box but it will be fine after that. With apps tiktok lite it will stop video but still have sound at once.
