This is the instruction to activate VoWiFi / WLAN Call on the XIAOMI MI 10 PRO (global version which comes with 1 sim - i bought a sim tray for dual sim from the chinesse version and installed miui.eu so that i have both sims activated )
its tested and verfied to work with xiaomi.eu (miui ver 12.0.2 stable) and Romania DIGI provider.
Before you read on i want to make clear that I am not responsible for bricked devices !
Basic requirements are root rights to do this mod (download magisk and flash it via twrp so that you can grant permission for terminal app or adb ).
Maybe latest 2020 Qualcomm Diag QD-Loader Windows 10 Drivers signed are needed for this to work.
!!! Before doing this Mod you should backup EFS-partition !!!
- download QPST tool and install
- enable USB debugging in Developer settings
- connect phone with original USB cable to PC
- now either go to terminal app and type:
Code:
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
or
adb from PC
Code:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
- the phone should be recognized by PDC (if not install Qualcomm driver and check Device Manager)
- start PDC (from QPST tool) on PC
- deactivate first profiles (sub0 & sub1) that are active ( mine was ROW_Comercial ) ;
- select from TELE2_Nederlands_Comercial sub0 & sub1 then click activate
- remove ROW_Comercial ( you need to remove it because after restarting the phone, the software will re-select it )
- restart phone
- enjoy your voWIFI

Looks great... I allready figuren out that Tele2 , sub brand bij T-Mobile IS working. Will defenitly try this alsof.

You should see the connection in PORTS in device manager after running the code from adb . Then run PDC as administrator and use the dropdown from PDC and you should see the list.

-WLAN calling ( wifi.calling.WificallingSuggestionActivity)
-Call preferences- if wifi is unavailable, use mobile network
Thats it.... wait for.... one hour, or less...then the VoWifi logo will apear and you are good to go!

Ok guys, so i did get this to work as per the instructions above and it worked for me here in the netherlands when i had a simyo(kpn sim) and a vodaphone sim. now my work switched to kpn also and as soon as i switched to 2 kpn sims, vowifi stopped worknig. i reflashed the phone just to see if this would help and i redid the above steps but i cant get vowifi to work. my phone is the mi10 and im using xiaomi.eu 12.0.1 stable. all vowifi is enabled (pictures attached). All of this is wierd to me because the settings that i have active are for tele2 and tele2 is running on the kpn network. Any ideas guys?

True man. :good:
It works for me!!!, ROM 9.5.13.0, global version.
Many thanks!!!!
In my case, the update for ROM global 9.5.13.0 resolve this bug. [emoji41]
Enviado do meu Redmi Note 5 através do Tapatalk
Hi there,
I am on miui global 9.5 / Stable 9.5.19.0 (oEIMIFA) stock MIUI. I had previously been on 9.5.6.0 but updated the MIUI version. Since updating to 9.5.19.0, I have found that when I set a hotspot from my Redmi Note 5, the connected device is able to connect to the internet, however, my Redmi can no longer connect!! This seems backwards but is very frustrating as I was hoping to be able to use both devices at the same time! On my other devices I can share a hotspot while still using mobile data!
Is there a fix for this? I applied the adb fix mentioned above but it did not change the problem.
THanks in advance!!
not worked on miui version 9.5.6.0 tried the fix all good but its not working on pc and laptop(windows 7)although it works when hotspoting on another mobile phone (nokia lumia, windows phone)any other ideas?
fix hotspot problem with update MIUI 9.5.19.0
Fix worked 10.0.2.0 mix2s
Idk what broke it, sure it used to work.
I did try out wifi sharing recently, maybe that broke it
Anyways, thanks settings dun fixed it

Reset u r APN setting to default mode and then restart u r mobile
Dear people for whom it has worked, could you please tell me where you found drivers for the Redmi Note 5?
I'm asking that because once adb+fastboot is installed, the command adb devices lists no devices at all. I am guessing that's because I have not installed drivers, but there aren't any to be downloaded from mi.com (or I haven't found the appropriate section).
I am running MIUI 10.0.6.0, updated a few days ago from 9.6.x, and I've bought the phone three weeks ago and hotspot never worked. I confess I have been desperately trying to make it work.
My OS is Windows 8.1, up-to-date.
Thank you.
PS: I read the OP again and it says "Connect Phone to PC and phone will ask for a connection permission, tap Allow." but my phone never asks me for a permission; I just hear sound notifications, but no dialog or prompt appears on-screen. The only moment when I see a dialog with an OK button to press is when I enable USB debugging.

Before using the Google Camera HDR+, you have to enable Camera API 2 in the MIUI, unless any version of Google Camera you install WILL HAVE NO HDR+ EFFECT OR CRASH AFTER OPENING!!!
The way I choose to enable Camera 2 API on MIUI is through the Magisk platform, and there are 4 steps of prerequisites to get to this:
Unlock the bootloader
You need to go to MIUI unlock page and follow the steps to unlock your phone’s Bootloader.
During the process, you will also need to install the driver in computer for your phone.
Flash the 3'rd party recovery, like TWRP
Go to TWRP devices page to download the TWRP recovery for your model, and boot your phone into Fastboot Mode by holding the volume down & power button until it boot into fastboot.
Also download the Android platform tools, unzip, and open CMD on windows or terminal on macOS and cd (move) to your unzip directory.
After that, flash the TWRP recovery into your phone.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery $your_download_recovery.img
Check to flash process is success (you will see the “OK” in the command line), and boot your phone into recovery:
Code:
fastboot boot $your_download_recovery.img
and slide the button to right to enable modification, disable the MIUI’s recovery.
Flash the Magisk platform
Now the custom 3'rd part recovery is completely installed, we can install Magisk now.
Download the magisk from the developer’s XDA page, copy into your phone SD, select and slide to flash the magisk with TWRP install function .
Flash the Camera 2 API enabler
The previous Camera 2 API enabler is decrepit, so I rewrite a newer version that can work with Magisk 15+.
Flash the zip to enable enable Camera 2 API.
You can check whether you successfully enable the Camera 2 API by Camera 2 API probe:
Install Google Camera Port (HDR+) App
Now the prerequisite is complete, we can finally install the Google Camera Port now.
Here is a Port Google Camera collection page, I recommend using MGCamera_5.1.0.18_R4X series which maintain by @Arthur, and here is my recommend settings:

[UPDATE]
If you are on Vodafone and you are having problems with Telefonica_UK_Commercial, try India-VoLTE-Vodafone instead.
The name of the country doesn't matter, its all about the actual configuration settings stored in the profile.
you can select profiles of your chosing and report back your country, carrier, and settings you got to get it working and we'll keep a list
The German carriers have enabled VoLTE for quite some time already and OnePlus has officially enabled the feature, but we were still not able to actually use it, only to show it in the settings because the carriers have not distributed OnePlus with the appropiate settings for VoLTE + VoWiFi.
Original credits go to jamal2367 from https://android-hubo.de/thread/8203...t-dual-volte-vowifi-freischalten-de-ohne-root
Requirements:
OxygenOS
With root-->magisk--> Module VoEnabler 1.2 by Toucan-->enable it
w/o root--> open the dialer: *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE + VoWifi switch
Disclaimer
You can break your phone, so know what you do
Steps
1)To be safe, make a backup via TRWP of your EFS partition BEFORE you flash anything! If you're not rooted, do a nandroid backup via fastboot
2) Download and install:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603864074
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603912872
Just use the standard settings and click on OK, next, ...
3) Connect your phone to your laptop via USB
4) open dialer app and enter *#801#
Set Serial and Full-port switch to ON
5) Open "PDC" in your QPST start menu folder, best to do by right click & "run as administrator"
Select your device, right click on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" and deactivate Sub0 and Sub1
Click on Oversea-Commercial_DS again and click on remove -- DO NOT CLICK REMOVE, JUST DE-ACTIVATE IT - your settings stick after a reboot, so no longer need to remove the profile (at least on my device my profiles stick, also makes it easier to go back to default)
6) Close the app and reopen it
7)
Select India-VoLTE-Vodafone or Telefonica_UK_Commercial, right click and SetSelectedConfig for both Sub0 and Sub1
8)
Click on the profile from step 7 again and click on Activate
Yes, select UK/India even if you are located in another region (see above for comfirmed locations + carriers)
9) Restart your phone
10) Voila, you now have working VoLTE + VoWiFi

Anyone any luck with Vodafone UK?? so far tried India Vodafone, and UK Vodafone settings, will give it more test with stronger reception outside the house, so far call lasted for around a min then switched back to H
If I enabled VoLTE using LogKit and it's working, do I have to follow OP instructions?
I have also noticed that volte is working 100%, but VoWiFi is working only after restart, and only until first WiFi network change.

Great!
As my main driver is a Redmi Note 7 on crDroid 6.3 with microG/GCam I would like to "free" my new Poco X3 Pro as soon as possible from Bloat/MIUI. As long as no good Xiaomi.eu/mi-globe or even better crDroid ROM is available I will probably not use Poco X3 Pro as main driver, unless I'm able to debloat successfully and a good GCam gets available.
Last time on the RN7 I did the unlock process ca. 20 months ago, so I do remember only some major steps and wanted to create this thread as long as no Tutorial is available here at xda.
I've done
- setup Mi Account
- Dev Unlock on MIUI Version field
- Additional settings > Developer options >
OEM unlocking
Mi Unlock Status
USB debugging
- already had ADB drivers, downloaded miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.24.zip
with batch_unlock.exe requested unlock
tool says "please unlock 168 hours later"
Would'nt it be nice if for a small quote shops would offer Xiaomi unlocking included? Do exist those? I would seriously consider that in the future to avoid any registration etc. with Xiaomi.
So now I have to wait a week and maybe read some guides. Unsure if I can debloat with XiaomiADBFastbootTools-7.0.3.jar before device is unlocked. I think I had problems unlocking RN7 because I uninstalled some Mi stuff which was necessary to unlock. So I may wait?
Hi,
There already is a xiaomi.eu rom for our poco x3 pro.
Just one week wait isn't a lot...
Ive successfully debloated mine. My unlock timer ends tonight and just waiting to see more confirmation on the TWRP/OrangeFox that appeared.
Has anyone used my script yet to make their Poco X3 Pro fully read-write-able for debloating MIUI and further customizations? By default your stock system is read-only.
It was developed on Poco X3 NFC so it should work well with Poco X3 Pro I believe. Please report back if it works for you or not. Thanks!
hey lebigmac!
just got my x3 pro 2 days ago and it seems like i can debloat just fine using fastboot without using any scripts. even after multiple factory resets
on miui 12.0.4, bootloader still locked.
bought my device from malaysia
Hi xelrix. Congratulations on getting that wonderful device!
My script is useful if you want to remove stubborn system apps that are hidden deep inside your read-only system
You should apply for bootloader unlock as soon as possible. It's very useful if you are hard bricked you can always flash new super image from recovery or fastboot.
168 hours have passed so I successfully unlocked mine with miflash_unlock-en-5.5.224.55.
I look forward to install a Xiaomi.eu/mi-globe unless interesting Custom ROMs (signature spoofing enabled) come fast ;-)
From what I can see this is the situation:

mi-globe for X3 Pro not yet online
Have not heard from Custom ROM devs
Elisa forwarded this in the Poco X3 Telegram group:
OrangeFox-Unofficial-vayu7.img (128.0 MB IMG)
this one boots fine and can wipe and flash etc (build from yesterday)
/data still broken (but you can format)

here is what i did from the very beginning
1 > fastboot flash recovery ofox_vayu7.img (#ofox in chat)
2 > fastboot boot ofox_vayu7.img (unplug usb when screen goes black and wait untill ofox is fully booted or else MTP dead)
3 > format /data (with yes confirmation)
4 > reboot recovery
5 > transfer files to internal via MTP
flash xiaomi.eu
6 > manually mount odm in recovery settings
7 > flash dfe (disable verity & encrypt)
8 > flash magisk
reboot to system
(6 & 7 is not needed now as we don't have rw permission)
and it ****ing booted (after 10 min wil look like miui logo is stuck (yes it seriously can take this long be patient))

Hi, I've debloated following these steps and the steps in the F1 & X3 NFC threads.
But my home screen and lock screen are both black.
What do I need to reactivate to restore the home & lock screens?
Thanks in advance

I bought my X3 Pro 15 days ago. There was a Redmi Note 8 Pro and it worked normally. But with the X3 Pro the IMS was not supported. Only with this tutorial it worked
I followed this guide and it works, no need for USB, drivers, terminal.

Did you try other MIUI roms like MIUI by Xiaomi.eu?
Maybe it's regional restrictions that makes the code don't work.

I haven't tried it, I'm using global with root / magisk only. but as it all worked out I didn't see the need to look for a new rom.

Go testing one by one. Wire what I did. You test if it doesn't work, undo it and go to the other
Will this work for custom roms??
Or are they already enabled??

Worked with me on MIUI Global 12.5.2 - Poco X3 Pro
Go Dial and enter *#*#86583#*#*
A popup message appears "VoLTE carrier check disabled" and VoLTE enables, also available on SIM card settings.
If you got the "VoLTE carrier check enabled" message, please do again.
i can do this with locked bootloader?
Can you guys help me understand if I have or not Volte enabled?
I'm on MIUI 12.5.2 with magisk, i enabled volte with *#*#86583#*#* and I also installed the magisk module, in SIM options I have both VoLTE and calls using WiFi enabled. Also with *#"#4636#*#" the VoLTE and Wi-Fi calls options are enabled but grey out, but I don't have the VoLTE icon on status bar, only a 4G+ symbol above the network strength bars. I have the HD symbol on the call screen and in the call history, I also tried successfully to browse internet while on a call (without wifi). I don't get, it looks like I have VoLTE enabled but I don't have any icon on status bar like lot of screenshots around.

I believe it is not activated. Click on the 3 dots below and see the pop up that opens in IMS. It should look like the image below.

Nesse caso, pode ser algo da sua operadora.
In this case, it could be something from your operator.
