I bought my X3 Pro 15 days ago. There was a Redmi Note 8 Pro and it worked normally. But with the X3 Pro the IMS was not supported. Only with this tutorial it worked
I followed this guide and it works, no need for USB, drivers, terminal.

Did you try other MIUI roms like MIUI by Xiaomi.eu?
Maybe it's regional restrictions that makes the code don't work.

I haven't tried it, I'm using global with root / magisk only. but as it all worked out I didn't see the need to look for a new rom.

Worked with me on MIUI Global 12.5.2 - Poco X3 Pro
Go Dial and enter *#*#86583#*#*
A popup message appears "VoLTE carrier check disabled" and VoLTE enables, also available on SIM card settings.
If you got the "VoLTE carrier check enabled" message, please do again.
i can do this with locked bootloader?
Can you guys help me understand if I have or not Volte enabled?
I'm on MIUI 12.5.2 with magisk, i enabled volte with *#*#86583#*#* and I also installed the magisk module, in SIM options I have both VoLTE and calls using WiFi enabled. Also with *#"#4636#*#" the VoLTE and Wi-Fi calls options are enabled but grey out, but I don't have the VoLTE icon on status bar, only a 4G+ symbol above the network strength bars. I have the HD symbol on the call screen and in the call history, I also tried successfully to browse internet while on a call (without wifi). I don't get, it looks like I have VoLTE enabled but I don't have any icon on status bar like lot of screenshots around.

The worst thing that could happen it's that doesn't work the Google Camera. As always, if there is any problem with adb/fastboot try the alternative drivers.
Im assuming OTA gonna work fine right? Like the other threads enabling camera 2 api. Very helpful for those who dont want root and still be able to use gcam. Nice!
Edit: ow yeah its in your post already.
How long is it supposed to take? It has been more than 10 minutes unlocking bootloader and nothing happens.
Edit: For those who got stuck on "Unlocking bootloader" while in Fastboot: Keep your device connected to the PC. Open device manager in Windows, you will find the Android Device with the warning symbol. Right click on it and select update driver. Then select Search for drivers in this PC. Then select choose from a list of drivers available. On the left side of the list search for Samsung and on the right side of the list choose Samsung ADB device and apply. Restart the device and the program on your PC and start the install process again.

You have not to touch the phone (unless ask for fingerprint or pin in twrp). The "Install GCam" button boots in fastboot, unlock bootloader, lock bootloader, ... without do anything in the phone. When the process end, the tool opens a image with the configuration in the Google camera.

I edited that part, it can be confusing. I mean disable pattern/password in settings, not in twrp. Finally, without pin/pattern do "Install GCam".

What to do after downloading Mi A1 GCam.zip file?
Do I have to connect my mobile with a pc/laptop?
Yep, I figured myself meantime.
Everything is fine here now.
Thanks guys.
Thanks man ! It works great :good:
Does this work with january 1 ota? Also, will it disable ota updates?
It worked. but... I had to start the program like 4 or 5 times because it would not go to the end (also i did nothing).... In the end seems ok.
First time it did not work because i ran the app from the archive. So first, unzipp the file and only after that run the app.
Thank you!

In my case, the update for ROM global 9.5.13.0 resolve this bug. [emoji41]
Enviado do meu Redmi Note 5 através do Tapatalk
Hi there,
I am on miui global 9.5 / Stable 9.5.19.0 (oEIMIFA) stock MIUI. I had previously been on 9.5.6.0 but updated the MIUI version. Since updating to 9.5.19.0, I have found that when I set a hotspot from my Redmi Note 5, the connected device is able to connect to the internet, however, my Redmi can no longer connect!! This seems backwards but is very frustrating as I was hoping to be able to use both devices at the same time! On my other devices I can share a hotspot while still using mobile data!
Is there a fix for this? I applied the adb fix mentioned above but it did not change the problem.
THanks in advance!!
not worked on miui version 9.5.6.0 tried the fix all good but its not working on pc and laptop(windows 7)although it works when hotspoting on another mobile phone (nokia lumia, windows phone)any other ideas?
fix hotspot problem with update MIUI 9.5.19.0
Fix worked 10.0.2.0 mix2s
Idk what broke it, sure it used to work.
I did try out wifi sharing recently, maybe that broke it
Anyways, thanks settings dun fixed it

Dear people for whom it has worked, could you please tell me where you found drivers for the Redmi Note 5?
I'm asking that because once adb+fastboot is installed, the command adb devices lists no devices at all. I am guessing that's because I have not installed drivers, but there aren't any to be downloaded from mi.com (or I haven't found the appropriate section).
I am running MIUI 10.0.6.0, updated a few days ago from 9.6.x, and I've bought the phone three weeks ago and hotspot never worked. I confess I have been desperately trying to make it work.
My OS is Windows 8.1, up-to-date.
Thank you.
PS: I read the OP again and it says "Connect Phone to PC and phone will ask for a connection permission, tap Allow." but my phone never asks me for a permission; I just hear sound notifications, but no dialog or prompt appears on-screen. The only moment when I see a dialog with an OK button to press is when I enable USB debugging.
Hey Guys,
many people got VOLTE and VOWIFI activated on Pocophone, OnePlus and Mi8 by editing the Profile of Modem with Qualcomm PDC tool.
here is the tutorial for OP6 / 6T
HTML:
/* Disclaimer */
This is at your own risk.
I am not responsible for broken phones, lost IMEI numbers, damaged EFS partition, whatever.
Telekom germany users:
Only step 1 & 2 are required!
However, it is recommended to use the "H3G_Denmark_Commercial" Profile, as it has no restrictions.
1. Enter *#800# and select "oneplus Logkit" --> "Function Switch" --> "VoLTE switch", "VoWiFi switch" and "VT switch".
If "VoLTE switch", "VoWiFi switch" and "VT switch" are not present, then install this APK "OEMLogKit.apk" and restarts!
Now "VoLTE switch", "VoWiFi switch" and "VT switch" should be available under *#800#!
2. After you have selected "VoLTE switch", "VoWiFi switch" and "VT switch", restart the device,
and in the "Settings" under "SIM & Network" select "VoLTE and WiFi-Calling".
3. Go to your computer and install both.
Qualcomm QPST Diag x64 Treiber
QPST_2.7.474
Important: Do not run any other Qualcomm drivers on your computer, please deactivate them before, otherwise you will get error messages!
4. Now connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.
5. Open the phone app and enter this code *#801#.
6. Now a new menu appears and switches on "Serial" and "Full-port switch".
7. Now start the program: "PDC" and connect it to your device.
8. Right click on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" then under "Deactivate" select "Sub0" and "Sub1".
9. Now click again on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" and press Remove below.
Vodafone, Telekom and o2 Germany: Use the "H3G_Denmark_Commercial" Profile
10. Now select "H3G_Denmark_Commercial", right click and select "Sub0" and "Sub1" on "SetSelectedConfig".
Now click again on "H3G_Denmark_Commercial" and below on Activate.
11. After you have done everything, restart the device!
The "VoLTE or VoWiFi Logo" should now be visible in the expanded status bar.
I try to connect with MIA1 but no chance to get connected with 8.1 and 9.0 Roms

Is it possible to enable Volte and VoWifi in Mi A1.
I am gonna say yes. I have been successful in this in a UK network.
I have been trying this for long time and almost gave up. But I was trying trying everytime to fail but at last to win.
What do you need
Stock ROM with August security patch version 10.0.12.0
A Carrier support these two function
Magisk flashable VoEnabler zip from guithub.
Instructions
Flash the stock ROM
Install magisk
Install VoEnabler
Dial *#*#4636#*#* and confirm you have Volte and WiFi calling enabled
Go to phone app, settings, WiFi calling, select WiFi preferred.
Reboot voilà
This worked for me. I hope this works for you guys.
All the best
To enable VoLTE use this in dailer *#*#86583#*#* and it should pop-up "Carrier restriction .. disabled.", works on the latest stock (may not work on some older versions). Afterwards *#*#869434#*#* and you get another pop-up notification "*Blah* *blah* disabled". If you have carrier support for both of it, after reboot and activating in settings app it'll work. Using this method from 7 till now, full stock and it survives OTA. After clean flash (fastboot) for some builds it fails (for example first pie builds).
got volte but vowifi dont work no options in settings for wificall with 10.0.12.0

Dont tinstall the zip downloaded from github.
You have to create a new zip containing the "META-INF" folder etc in the root.
Now working Vowifi and Volte with Stock Rom / 10.0.12.0
1. Insert in build prop

[UPDATE]
If you are on Vodafone and you are having problems with Telefonica_UK_Commercial, try India-VoLTE-Vodafone instead.
The name of the country doesn't matter, its all about the actual configuration settings stored in the profile.
you can select profiles of your chosing and report back your country, carrier, and settings you got to get it working and we'll keep a list
The German carriers have enabled VoLTE for quite some time already and OnePlus has officially enabled the feature, but we were still not able to actually use it, only to show it in the settings because the carriers have not distributed OnePlus with the appropiate settings for VoLTE + VoWiFi.
Original credits go to jamal2367 from https://android-hubo.de/thread/8203...t-dual-volte-vowifi-freischalten-de-ohne-root
Requirements:
OxygenOS
With root-->magisk--> Module VoEnabler 1.2 by Toucan-->enable it
w/o root--> open the dialer: *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE + VoWifi switch
Disclaimer
You can break your phone, so know what you do
Steps
1)To be safe, make a backup via TRWP of your EFS partition BEFORE you flash anything! If you're not rooted, do a nandroid backup via fastboot
2) Download and install:
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603864074
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603912872
Just use the standard settings and click on OK, next, ...
3) Connect your phone to your laptop via USB
4) open dialer app and enter *#801#
Set Serial and Full-port switch to ON
5) Open "PDC" in your QPST start menu folder, best to do by right click & "run as administrator"
Select your device, right click on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" and deactivate Sub0 and Sub1
Click on Oversea-Commercial_DS again and click on remove -- DO NOT CLICK REMOVE, JUST DE-ACTIVATE IT - your settings stick after a reboot, so no longer need to remove the profile (at least on my device my profiles stick, also makes it easier to go back to default)
6) Close the app and reopen it
7)
Select India-VoLTE-Vodafone or Telefonica_UK_Commercial, right click and SetSelectedConfig for both Sub0 and Sub1
8)
Click on the profile from step 7 again and click on Activate
Yes, select UK/India even if you are located in another region (see above for comfirmed locations + carriers)
9) Restart your phone
10) Voila, you now have working VoLTE + VoWiFi

Edit: there's an updated LogKit apk that fixes this in the other VoLTE thread.

Anyone any luck with Vodafone UK?? so far tried India Vodafone, and UK Vodafone settings, will give it more test with stronger reception outside the house, so far call lasted for around a min then switched back to H
If I enabled VoLTE using LogKit and it's working, do I have to follow OP instructions?
I have also noticed that volte is working 100%, but VoWiFi is working only after restart, and only until first WiFi network change.

Great!
This is the instruction to activate VoWiFi / WLAN Call on the XIAOMI MI 10 PRO (global version which comes with 1 sim - i bought a sim tray for dual sim from the chinesse version and installed miui.eu so that i have both sims activated )
its tested and verfied to work with xiaomi.eu (miui ver 12.0.2 stable) and Romania DIGI provider.
Before you read on i want to make clear that I am not responsible for bricked devices !
Basic requirements are root rights to do this mod (download magisk and flash it via twrp so that you can grant permission for terminal app or adb ).
Maybe latest 2020 Qualcomm Diag QD-Loader Windows 10 Drivers signed are needed for this to work.
!!! Before doing this Mod you should backup EFS-partition !!!
- download QPST tool and install
- enable USB debugging in Developer settings
- connect phone with original USB cable to PC
- now either go to terminal app and type:
Code:
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
or
adb from PC
Code:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
- the phone should be recognized by PDC (if not install Qualcomm driver and check Device Manager)
- start PDC (from QPST tool) on PC
- deactivate first profiles (sub0 & sub1) that are active ( mine was ROW_Comercial ) ;
- select from TELE2_Nederlands_Comercial sub0 & sub1 then click activate
- remove ROW_Comercial ( you need to remove it because after restarting the phone, the software will re-select it )
- restart phone
- enjoy your voWIFI
"reserved"
Looks great... I allready figuren out that Tele2 , sub brand bij T-Mobile IS working. Will defenitly try this alsof.

You should see the connection in PORTS in device manager after running the code from adb . Then run PDC as administrator and use the dropdown from PDC and you should see the list.

guys, i had the same issue.
I hade the solution from another user(Ravester) on telegram group.
In call type: *#*#869434#*#*
You get the messages : Vowifi check disabled, that's good
Install nova launcher
make activity shortcut
choose:
-Settings(second one)
-WLAN calling ( wifi.calling.WificallingSuggestionActivity)
-Call preferences- if wifi is unavailable, use mobile network
Thats it.... wait for.... one hour, or less...then the VoWifi logo will apear and you are good to go!
profit
PS I am on miui 12 stable Xiaomi.eu
Very interesting. Now if only Vodafone NL didn't have an annoying check, it'd work with them too. Could someone please use the QPST tool to download the Vodafone_NL / Vodafone_Netherlands settings, and upload those here. Thanks!

Ok guys, so i did get this to work as per the instructions above and it worked for me here in the netherlands when i had a simyo(kpn sim) and a vodaphone sim. now my work switched to kpn also and as soon as i switched to 2 kpn sims, vowifi stopped worknig. i reflashed the phone just to see if this would help and i redid the above steps but i cant get vowifi to work. my phone is the mi10 and im using xiaomi.eu 12.0.1 stable. all vowifi is enabled (pictures attached). All of this is wierd to me because the settings that i have active are for tele2 and tele2 is running on the kpn network. Any ideas guys?
