Does anyone faced an issue when placing a call that the other person couldn't hear your voice at all? It only happens when I call and it does not occur when I receive a call.
Yah i had issues but they seemed to go away after the miui 12 update
I just received my poco f2 pro this week. I'm on the MIUI 12 update. I'm in the USA on t-mobile and no one can hear me whether I initiate the call or they do. Tried clearing data, reinstalling, etc... So far it is still not working. I can't believe that I am the only one on t-mobile with the poco f2 pro so there must be a solution. Bummed out... For now I have an expensive paperweight... Any thoughts anyone?
Maybe u told us which network (3G, 4G), VoLTE, Wifi Calling, etc.

I am set to 4G preferred, volte, and vowifi..... and running the latest stable MIUI 12 rom from xiaomi
I did manage to get it working using a workaround..... It is definitely some kind of a software issue. I remembered in the past having something similar when 'ok google' was on so I tried turning that off. That didn't make any difference but I also remembered that switching to speaker would allow the other side to hear me and that then after switching back it would continue working.... Tried that and it did work.... In fact, after that it continued to work flawlessly when either making or receiving a call the other party could hear me. That is until I would reboot the phone. After rebooting I have to switch from phone to speaker (and back) on a call and it then it continues to work normally.... until I reboot. A slight hassle for now but at least I have a work around.

Mine does the same thing... Also on t mobile...
Im having the same issue im on Google Fi, the only way to get it to work is to set it to speaker mode. It's really annoying
In my case if I change it to speaker and back after every reboot it works fine. If you forget just change it to speaker and back when you realize it's not working. Only lasts until reboot.

Since yesterday morning I receive very few SMSs or calls when wifi is connected.
I installed 4.4.4 a few days before that so I doubt it's that (although I supposed it's possible)
I've reflashed the radio, reflashed 4.4.4 in its entirety, flashed CM11 - all with the same result - when wifi's connected I hardly ever receive any calls or SMSs (no problems dialing out or sending)
Unless anyone else has similar problems I don't think it's worth going back to 4.4.3.
So now I'm left wondering if it's the hardware or the SIM, or...?

Yes, I can dial out and send SMSs.
When someone calls you what signal do they get? And their messages stay "pending"?

They either get a ringing tone a few times at their end end then an unavailable tone, or just an unavailable tone / message.
The messages eventually arrive, maybe 6-10 hours later, or when I switch wifi off.

Turn off LTE and I bet it will work. It's been a known issue for awhile with LTE and WIFI on you will miss calls/sms.
Google it and you will see many threads about it.

Weird - I had already read up on that (it seemed to be a pre 4.4.3 problem) and could swear I had already tried switching it without success but now I've switched again it seems to have done the trick - I'm just waiting to get some test SMSs sent. :good:
I wonder why it worked okay until yesterday morning and then just suddenly stopped working - it would suck if I'd paid for 4G!
I suppose it's of some comfort that I'm not the only one on 4.4.4 with this problem...

I've tried it again - back to not receiving calls or SMSs even with 4G turned off unless I'm disconnected from wifi.
A few minutes on the phone to Google - and they're sending me a new phone! :victory:
This is a long standing issue with the N5. A solution that worked for me is to disable keeping WIFI on during sleep. Not sure if that will work for everybody though.

How did that conversation go? When I bought my phone, it took something like 2 hours for it to download the required sprint activation package (I think it was something like 50mb)...And the radio has been giving me grief ever since day 1 with signal constantly dropping any/everywhere...I just thought it was more related to Sprints crummy service in my area though.
So to explain, I am unable to call out, I receive either a mobile network not available or out of service area upon call out... but I can receive calls, sms, and Sprint LTE... If I restart my phone with 3G only, it works fine, I can enable LTE, and things work fine until I restart with LTE enabled, it's than back to the same. I've flashed back to stock, didn't seem to effect the issue in the slightest. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Can confirm going to 4.4.2 fixes the problem. Wish I didn't buy a used GS3 thinking that my phone was broken. Obviously sprint support had no clue that the 4.4.4 update broke the cdma radio.
I recently got a GS6 and I'm having problems with calling/receiving calls.
When calling/receiving usually the other person can not hear me talking but I can hear them. Sometimes they can hear me for 30 seconds or so then they can't hear me anymore. I disabled and enabled Advanced Calling and restarted my phone and it seemed to work for one phone call. I only tested it on a short call though so it could of stopped working during the call.
I tried disabling Advanced Calling and made a call right away without restarting and the person could still not hear me. I did see my phone dropped to 1X during the call this time. Does it take time when switching off Advanced Calling for something to happen on Verizon's network?
Anybody else have this issue or a fix? I'd rather not have to do a full reset.
Thanks.
Edit: Just deleted dalvik cache and cache partition in FlashFire and it seems to be working. Will update if I have the problem again.
I was dropping calls regularly. I disabled AC and I have not dropped a call since. I would 'reboot' and double check to see it is indeed off

we had to call and verizon had to "program" some stuff for AC. Try that. worked on this end.
I have this same issue. It has happened to me mid conversation. It is annoying. I didn't have this issue with my G3. I thought it might be because I'm running a room that is debloated. I'm trying to hold on to this phone because I'm hoping the next update to 5.1.1 will fix this issue. If not I'm going back to LG.

With AC off you won't be able to talk and use data at the same time which is a deal breaker for me.

Did you have problems activating AC on your phone? If you don't have it added to your account you have to do that first.

I'm running CleanROM 1.5. I might try flashing it again to see if that fixes it. If not then I will try stock. The problem with 5.1.1 is that it probably won't have root.
Root stock, I have not noticed this issue and this week has been a big phone call week. Lots of long conf calls many times a day.

I re-flashed CleanROM 1.5, so hopefully that fixes it. If not I will try stock.
Re-flashing CleanROM 1.5 did not fix it. I guess I will have to try stock now.
BTW it is quite possible that you are just in an error with bad signal too.

I guess that's possible but I have 2 bars on Band 4. I could try locking into Band 13 but that is congested at times in my area.
Bars are misleading, look at signal strength instead.

Around -105 dBm. You would think if there was reception issues the call would completely drop.
When I lived in an area that had a signal level of -100 to -110 I would sometimes have calls drop and Verizon stated I was in a fringe area and would let me out of my contract.

The thing is only B4 is that high. B13 is around -93dBm.
I planned on doing a test today to see if I stand by a window where I get better signal if that would help. The call went through fine today. I checked LTE Discovery during the call and it said I was on B13 though. Around 10 minutes later the phone was back on B4. I made a call then and the person could not hear me. LTE Discovery was saying around 114dBm. I moved maybe 4ft and the dBm was around 106 and then the person could hear me. If I move 12ft more I'm by a window where I get 99dBm.
So when I sit at my desk I can't make any calls and will have to get up if I'm on B4. I wish I could force the phone to use B13 during calls.
Another issue I had the other day was my phone was only connecting to 1X even though I was in an area that had good 4G. I've always heard Samsung had crappy radios. The only times I would get 1X on my last phone (Droid DNA) was when I was in the middle of nowhere. Wish I would of noticed these issues sooner so I could of returned the phone. :-/
I'm on a aosp marshmallow build, and since cm 12.1 upgrade whichever rom, I tried I couldn't maintain a signal level to make calls or get calls while the phone is idle while it's on lte, or 3g. Lte works fine for data. When I'm on 2g all the calling features working fine. I already tried installing different modems and firmwares including but not limited to 44s, cm nightlies, oxygen os. I went back all stock and rerooted and reupgraded to lollipop back then. No solution again. Any idea would help. I searched couple forums, saw other people with similar problems. But not a proper solution. Thanks

Got the same problem, except that 3G works fine for me.
I tried all that stuff too, still waiting for a solution. I hope it's not a hardware issue as it's working fine for everyone else.
So the problem is that I couldn't make or receive calls on LTE. Data works fine. The thing is the call connects, after 2 rings, I get a message which reads "Mobile Network not available." The other person thinks that I made a missed call and want them to call back. The same happens while receiving calls, after 2 rings, it disconnects it. I've noticed that the signal drop automatically after 2 rings. 100% to 0% after 2 rings, and then back to 100% after the call disconnects. This is kinda weird. I called up my service provider and they told me that it's the handset that's faulty. I think that I need to get to OnePlus Customer Care before my warranty is void.
~noob (you gotta start from somewhere)
Yep. Same here. But if you keep it on 2G, then you can make/receive calls. But that means, practically giving up your data

Anyone else having issues with not being able to make or recieve calls? After the update, if I try to make a call, it hangs up right away. No one can call me as well.

I have exactly same problem on my 2 Notes. I fix one by resetting phone app but second one not working all all.
I resolved my issue by turning off Enhance LTE, reboot phone then turning back on Enhance LTE.

Check the news about AT&T. Earlier this evening there was a nationwide outage with voice service. Apparently, all AT&T said via Twitter was to "restart your phone. It may take several restarts.". Typical AT&T customer service I guess.
My Wi-Fi calling seems to not be working properly. It is not as aggressive in low service situations like in the past.
