Mobile application development platform: how to choose best one?

There are many Mobile application development platforms available in the market; but which one you should choose and to which platform you would give priority?
Are you seeking for the right Mobile Application Development Platform for your job? Has your organization recognized mobile applications as a key part of your approach? Smartphone app development is blasting each single day and leaving developers challenged with a plenty of varieties for app development platforms. Since app development can be a money-spinning business, new app developers wanting to build up the next big thing. Mobile platforms have sprung up throughout the years to provide to the expanding demand, however how would you pick which platform is best for your application?
If we discuss about today’s desktop application developers, they basically have three platforms to look over: Windows, MAC and Linux. What's more, that being said, there are often approaches to make software composed for one platform which keep running on the others. Similar to this mobile app developers also have choices to select the platform as per their prerequisite from iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry. They can also utilize cross platform tools to build up applications.
Mobile apps are similar to any other product; if you need individuals to utilize it, it should be great. Excessive applications are always attractive, intended for performance and modified to convey the usefulness your client wants, on the go and in a freely-flowing manner. When choosing a Mobile Application Development Platform, be assured it can facilitate the app development that will address the exceptional needs of your association and your current as well as future clients.
Other element to focus in terms of picking a Mobile Application Development Platform is your focused audience. If your application focuses the Hugh ratio of business, you need to verify the most widespread platforms for example; iOS and Android are your needs. If the community of businesses is your essential target, commercial platforms like BlackBerry make a worthy selection. Either way, it’s very important to preserve your focused audience in mind when choosing your mobile platform.
Whether creating mobile apps is your desire or an interest, you will require income to endure your business. Consider the expenses and benefit before you get on the app development drive. When you choose a mobile technology, guarantee it delivers a powerful safety and verification structure. Such features comprise safe and protected client/server communication, on-device encryption, offline validation, access controller and other appliance that will complement your current structure as well as direct your brand away from humiliation and legitimate activities.
Most customers need to convey native apps, on both iOS and Android. By focusing on both the platforms you will be, apparently, success the entire Smartphone market. Thus, assuming budget is not a restricting component, it bodes well to handle iOS and Android together. If the application is a prototype app we would like to suggest Android platform to begin with, because there is no approval process with the Android App Store; this is absolutely a major advantage to Android if you are in a competition of market.
The mobile backdrop is a long way from standardizing. With the continuous fracture of gadgets and no strong leader in the business sector, organizations must keep on providing their applications to a range of OSes. Yet, to do as such, be mindful that the mobile structure which is at the center of your methodology must be upheld by a merchant who can rapidly help new surroundings as they achieve the business and enable you to spread out your abilities to come across the requirements of clients and staffs while changing your business for mobile achievement.
Before picking a Mobile Application Development Platform, get your work done. Think twice what decisions you have made. Look at how strong is the platform’s development surroundings? What number of handsets is accessible and what elements do they offer? Also check out Cloud adaptability, analytics and communication services, native, web or Hybrid, developer tools and resources Etc.

Best back end for Android app?

I appologize if this is a dumb question, but I am new to app development, altough some experienced in php/html.
I want to create an app where user fills in forms. The app development is easy to find info about, but i also want a back end plattform where I read the submitted forms and organize users.
So, my question. Is there a sort of ready wordpress like plattform to customize, or should this be built from scratch? If so, which platform is the best?
One note I should add about Buddy (full disclosure: I work there) is that we maintain independent instances of the platform in different locations around the world. If you need to host your backend in Europe (for response time or data sovereignty reasons, for example), you can choose your app backend to be sandboxed in the EU. Likewise the US and likewise China (with Brazil, Singapore and Australia coming soon).
he best way to develop mobile apps is to use REST services. So now you can choose any thing.
Any language that can used for server side programming can be used.
Now it is up to you choose the language.
If you familiar with JavaScript then you can try nodejs. You can make small app server in it.
But if your server software design is very complex (containing threads and synchronisation) then java can be handy.
But there is no restriction of language.
Firebase should be also a way to go for this.
The best android back end services include, Parse, Kumulos, Kinvey, backendless, QuickBlox.
Concerning the forms where users can fill up information, would something like help out?

On Apple's platform you might need an iPhone developer - it is quite possible to create and publish an iPhone app using your form.
I did take the help of mobile apps development service in toronto to know the process which is described here: http://support.brightcove.com/en/app-cloud/docs/step-step-guide-publishing-apple-app-store-using-mac
Thanks Carol for sharing such a wonderful article.

I have heard good things about Hasura (Not affiliated in anyway). And I think parse - mentioned above - is no longer available.
I'm wondering why nobody mentioned Google CLoud or AWS. They are most mobile friendly for a good price
Hi, if you will decide to build from scratch, there are different options/frameworks. But If you use kotlin you should look to Ktor.
Backend options for an Android app
Here, The list of good backend options for an Android app:
1. Parse.
2. Back4app.
3. Firebase.
4. Kinvey.
5. Appcelerator.

How difficult is it to create a payment system like paypal?

Building on the theme established by the other answers: it's hard because there are many speciality systems that make it happen.
But if you identify each of those discrete systems then you can begin to break it down into it's unique parts.
- Interface
- Security
- Authentication
- Verification
- Transaction
- Billing & Invoicing
- Interbank Exchange
- Compliance
- Fraud
- Fulfillment
- User / Account Management
- Marketing / Advertising
- Partnerships and PR
- User Research
Paypal developers and other similar programmers should build a product, encapsulating one of the above functions, with an architecture/framework/process that's open enough to work with as many potential partners as possible.
This looks suspiciously like the beginning of an advertisement/promotion for an app development company.
I'll just go ahead and let you know that any kind of advertisement in the forums isn't allowed and if you want to advertise on XDA you can find all the relevant information here:

Looking for Android / Android Automotive developers & Teammates - Startup

Dear XDA devs,
I'm looking for teammates for my automotive software / hardware project. We want to develop modern cockpits for motorcycles that can be easily retrofitted. For this we still need people who are familiar with Android or Android Automotive OS.
We have funds, but they are limited.
There are enough buyers (a lot of positive feedback and pre-registrations). We have several large chain stores that are interested in our products and would like to distribute them. Potential investors are also willing to invest, but would like to see more.
We are currently trying to put together a team to develop one of our devices. There is a lot of work to do, but once we achieve our MVP, we will no longer have to worry about financial resources. Everyone involved in the project will receive company shares, the amount of which we have to negotiate together.
Production costs for prototypes are secured, as are other costs in the event of outsourcing or material/software purchasing.
As mentioned, we have some financial security. However, we cannot pay high salaries until we reach our MVP.
Prerequisites would be experience in:
- Android system architecture
- Hardware development / mixed signals / microcontroller programming
- Android development - front end / back end
- UI/UX design
Of course, you do not need to have experience in all areas. However, you should already be an expert in your field.
If you are interested, please contact me and I would also be happy to answer any questions in the thread.
PS: If this thread is in the wrong place, please let me know so I can try to move it.
