I have received my oppo find 2x pro WOW it's amazing am just loading up my apps from play store
I read there is a oppo app store like there is on Samsung how do I download it?? Any ideas
Also is there a theme system I can see the installed theme so presume we can add others have worked out I can change shape and sizes of my icons but it would be amazing if I could change themes
Defo so glad I got this instead of the p40 pro I don't need to mess with downloading apps

The theme store isn't supported on UK devices due to legal concerns, it's unclear whether this will change in the future, Oppo are very new to European markets so they're being as safe as possible in this regard

Yes, just download from the Chinese site, then install the .apk & it'll be English, you'll also have some updates for your factory apps

No root is needed but will show original AOD screen for a second before switching to the new AOD
If rooted backup /system/priv-app/AODService/AODService.apk and replace with downloaded version and set permissions
Reboot
And set permissions in AOD for calls/sms in settings/applications
Open icon and setting accessibility settings
Loads of settings to customize.
Sizes of clocks/notifiacation area etc
Colours of text etc

Yes like in OP it will show original AOD for a split second then go to new AOD. Yes in the app itself theres settings for static or randomly move around

Edit: nice aod but... WhatsApp notifications doesnt work for muted notifications... still a good alternative incl all the options etc
useless app drains battery for me. also its not from LG G5 . its an app available on playstore with very negative ratings.

Just got my Mate 9 and I am liking it so far. I've used Nova and Go launcher in the past on other phones, however, I seem to like Huawei's own Home launcher. Simple and clean. However, is there a way I can apply icon packs to it? I want to change some icons, but can't seem to find a way to do that.
Any help or advice is appreciated.

Didn't try anything from playstore,but if you download a theme you have to put it in HWthemes folder in internal storage.
Other option you can download online themes from the themes manager and apply the icons only.

How did you get to that? When I click on my Theme icon, all I get is Local theme. I do not see Featured, Top, etc like your screenshot.

Not sure maybe it's disabled in ur country.
Maybe you can try using different location in hicare or register a new account with another country.

I don't think so, probably copyright stuff in there. I do wonder, can you register a huawei Id account? Assuming you have USA firmware.
I also have a l29 but mine is based out of Germany I think.

You're welcome. It's not the perfect solution because if you use app drawer, you can't change icons in app drawer but at least you get a better looking Homescreen.

It's the homescreen icons that I wanted to change, and this worked exactly as I wanted. What icon packs have you tried/like?
I used "clix" for a while, because they loke a bit like the stock icons, but now i have a new theme where all icons i have on my homescreen are included except of the telegram icon, so i made it by myself and applied it with icon changer
Hi guys I searched forum and there's no any evidence how get access to live wallpaper in s7 android 7 samsung removed but you access by a third party app name is (live wallpaper shortcut) and it is free on play store and another app called (lwp manager pro) it was free and good and play decided to remove it I don't know why but I have the app and I can create a apk file if xda allow me to share don't worry it not a warez app but it was a was free pro app at first time if want to know.

If using Nova Launcher, Long press the homescreen > Wallpapers > scroll right to live wallpapers
Those live wallpaper shortcut apps are still available on the play store, no need to upload apks
I don't use nova I prefer original launcher and use a app to access live wallpapers (lwp manager pro removed from play store) or you can use (live wallpaper shortcut).
samsung get a little unkindness in android 7 I don't why but I I think in Android 8 will be add this I hope.

Hi lonelywolf22 first question I have what type you rom use it official samsung or rooted or custom because I use none rooted official samsung android 7 and use (lwp manager) app for live wallpapers without any problem.
I don't know maybe I it's from your rooted or something wrong with system look up my first post I updated maybe it will help you I left a link go check it in page 1.

You can download oppo app market from a Chinese website and update the theme store in side it and then it will give you an option for fonts in the display section but there's no content in side it and themes don't work, but the app market updates oppos default apps tho.

Yeah only the Chinese ROMs have all these features enabled, something to do with outside of China but don't know what that's got to do with themes and there official app store
