Until we get the white font, this is my best effort

ok here is one last one...kinda a joke
this is to shut up all the sprint guys about their 4g (although it really isn't available anywhere worthwhile anyways)
However, I do feel sorry for all the sprint guys. Sprint has had the WORST phone selection from day one. They didn't have any bluetooth capable phones until 2004, even Cricket had them covered until the evo came out.

Launcher Pro removes the entire notification bar for you if you like. When you press Menu it brings it down for you to see your messages or time 3g status etc. Pretty neat.

but i'm pretty sure you need the source...

This topic is great and now I can use froyo. The clock was the only thing we can't change until we get source code. How again do we change the notification icon colorsin froyo?
This is a very nice trade off to use in the mean time.

This is a custom theme I made for the MIUI ROM. I'm in no way a fan of the stock orange colors Android chooses to use, so I did some work of my own.

- Almost all orange changed to green, including highlight text.

The MIUI ROM was released with Chinese as the primary language, so the Phone.apk in the package is translated into English. All the apps in the pack are in English instead of Chinese.
What you see where the icons are at the bottom is LauncherPro with my personal theme, not the stock Launcher2 (iPhone-like launcher) that comes with MIUI.

To make the pulldown bar a variation of black I would have to change its corresponding fonts to white. I'd need to research how to do that since I'm used to Cyanogenmod making it easy, but if I get the chance I'll give it a shot.

Nope but I accidentally clicked on "CHINESE TEXT recovery CHINESE TEXT" and it flashed the clockwork recovery without me even knowing (I was using AmonRA)... then I was able to flash the theme with no issues

I already have the English3.apk and the other packs installed and everything is in english. Can I just flash v.6 over it or do I need your english3 pack also???

[Theme][CM7 Status Bar Themed] **Updated: 16May2011** {Add new Army Strong theme!}

OK Yall, I've created a CM7 Status Bar Theme.
This will only theme the status bar, data icon and the signal strength indicator.
NOTE: Green Glass also mods the pull down background
This was created for CM7 so I'm fairly certain it will only work on CM7.
I have a few themes so far. I may do a some more if people like them.
Besides the color I have reworked the data indicator to show Andy above the 3G. The data indicator will still show data in and out. Also I have modified and cleaned up the signal strength indicator as well. Its less blurry and a little sharper.
Reference:
DATA
If Andy is on top of the 3G then data is fully connected.
SIGNAL
If the status bars are showing any strength of "white" bars it is "partially" connected to signal.
If the status bars are showing any strength of "colored" bars the phone is "fully connected" to signal.
Installing
Grab the link at the bottom, drop it on your SD card and flash through recovery.
Note:
There is a back to stock download provided also. You need this if you want to get back to the stock status bar because all of my themes "WILL" over write the stock status bar theme.

Added Green Glass. The changes for Green Glass are: Reverted to stock CM7 Data and Signal indicators. I have highly enhanced them so they are brighter and easier to see. Modded the Pull-Down Bar. Modded the Pull-Down Background to replicate transparent green glass. Updated the GPS icon to flash green when its actively locating. Updated the Signal Strength to go completely red with a red X when there is no signal. Updated the sound "Off" icon to be red when sound is off. Updated the vibrate icon to be orange when on vibrate.
ALSO: Cleaned up updater-script in all of my themes. They should now flash in CWM3.X

Are there Icon Packs optimized for the G3?

It's been two weeks since I got my G3. As the title states, I need an Icon Pack optimized for a 2K display. Right now I'm using Click UI. Looks pretty sharp but not as sharp as the Stock LG Icons. I'd like to make my own icon pack (as I know how to design stuff) but I don't have any APK logic (lol). Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it is optimized for 2K res but I use the Nox Icon Pack and it looks great & worth having on our gorgeous screen!

I believe stock icons are 192x192, a lot of the newer icon packs are around this resolution. You can always check in the description of the app to see what the resolution is for that particular icon pack

Thanks for the advice. Sadly, Kxnt's (Click UI & Pop UI creator) icon packs doesn't state the resolution of the icon pack. But I searched for the keyword '192x192 icon pack' and found a really cool one called Velur. Similar feel to Click UI but better.

This is a really cool icon pack (as expected from Kxnt) but it's not for 2K lol. Click UI looks just as sharp. Right now I'm using Velur which has a similar feel to Click UI and it looks a lot sharper.l

This one is also really cool! I might use it someday. But I might just stick with Velur right now bc circles are sort of my thing lol and weekly updates. yay for new icons every week.

I'm a big fan of kovdev, used lots of his packs on my old LG O3D (digitizer is shattered, but the rest is still working). But sadly I think these are 144px and I can notice more sharpness on Velur and Belle Icon packs.

Using Cryten Icon Pack here and looks great on the G3!

No worries mate .. Different strokes for different folks ..... I personally think that Cobalt is very much realistic .. no need for icon labels I'll have a look at those you mentioned but.. I'm sure it's going to hard for me to change away from Cobalt .. Good luck on your venture for Icon packs :good:

If your on stock launcher and rooted use unicon. If not think you will have to do it one by one.

Rooted you can use Unicon and Xposed but if you are not rooted then you can use any number of launcher to set them as long as the 3rd party launch is set as the system default.

N.B. This might be outdated now, and it's not being worked on anymore as I sold my M8.
Requires the Xposed Framework
This mod shows the status bar in Recent Apps screen on Sense 6. Also makes the status & navigation bar transparent.
Only tested on One M8 Sense 6.

Navigation bar is working correctly as far as I know, it's like that because of HTC's overlay for transparent bars.
But your action bar is obviously not right, which is because another module is modifying it I'm guessing? Can you tell me which mod adds that RAM bar?

I edited navigation bar using dimensions editor (module) and ram bar from viperOneM8 ROM

I've uploaded a new version that might work, so if you could confirm it would be great.
One thing I noticed is that the top row gets a little cut off for me as well (not as much as you though). I'll probably fix it in the future, by re-sizing everything, whenever I get the time.
But personally it's hardly noticeable.
