It's been two weeks since I got my G3. As the title states, I need an Icon Pack optimized for a 2K display. Right now I'm using Click UI. Looks pretty sharp but not as sharp as the Stock LG Icons. I'd like to make my own icon pack (as I know how to design stuff) but I don't have any APK logic (lol). Thanks in advance.

I believe stock icons are 192x192, a lot of the newer icon packs are around this resolution. You can always check in the description of the app to see what the resolution is for that particular icon pack

I love this icon pack! I used this on my Optimus 3D back then. Sadly not for 2K. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the advice. Sadly, Kxnt's (Click UI & Pop UI creator) icon packs doesn't state the resolution of the icon pack. But I searched for the keyword '192x192 icon pack' and found a really cool one called Velur. Similar feel to Click UI but better.

This is a really cool icon pack (as expected from Kxnt) but it's not for 2K lol. Click UI looks just as sharp. Right now I'm using Velur which has a similar feel to Click UI and it looks a lot sharper.l

This one is also really cool! I might use it someday. But I might just stick with Velur right now bc circles are sort of my thing lol and weekly updates. yay for new icons every week.

I'm a big fan of kovdev, used lots of his packs on my old LG O3D (digitizer is shattered, but the rest is still working). But sadly I think these are 144px and I can notice more sharpness on Velur and Belle Icon packs.
Using Cryten Icon Pack here and looks great on the G3!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not a big fan of the Cobalt Theme series. Also I'm already using Unicon with Cryten Icon Pack, same guy who made Vertus.

No worries mate .. Different strokes for different folks ..... I personally think that Cobalt is very much realistic .. no need for icon labels I'll have a look at those you mentioned but.. I'm sure it's going to hard for me to change away from Cobalt .. Good luck on your venture for Icon packs :good:

If your on stock launcher and rooted use unicon. If not think you will have to do it one by one.
Rooted you can use Unicon and Xposed but if you are not rooted then you can use any number of launcher to set them as long as the 3rd party launch is set as the system default.

This is another change I ended up with by accident, when working on the text-less icons for the app drawer. This is based off of Fresh 2.1.2, but should work with any Sprint based 2.1 ROM.
I originally discarded it, but thought it might be cool to, in addition to changing the color of the app drawer & add shortcuts background from solid black to some other color (gray in this mod), to also make the background semi-transparent, so that your wallpaper shows through, and this is the end product.

I like it because it is different - what Roms will it run on?
This should work on most Sprint-based ROMs.
It is really starting to grow on me. Here's an example using a photo type wallpaper background where you get a better sense for the "transparent factor".
It is something, I think, that looks better in real-life, as opposed to screen captures. I'll probably post a MetaMorph tomorrow.

First post has been updated with MetaMorph control files for applying this change.
It has really grown on me and I am liking it very much. It is not too dissimilar to the semi-transparent notification menu we've grown accustomed to. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
As mentioned above, I think it looks really nice when you have a photo style wallpaper.
Added this Mod!!! I have been looking for a transparent app background for a while. You also went the extra distance and did the same thing to the shortcuts background. Just wanted to say thank you for this and it worked for fresh 2.0d. The only thing that I had to do is re-add all the widgets on my screen after the update. Thanks man keep the updates coming!

I no longer use this ROM so I have decided to discontinue this theme. I ran into issues with it and as I am not a dev I could not figure it out and just got frustrated. I hope you all enjoy the version that you are running now.
Looks alright, but i don't understand why everyone seems to take roms built on a minimalistic theme with high contrast and changes everything to have a glossy/3D look. Would actually consider flashing a "light blue" theme if it added a tint of light blue to the existing look of Warm which changed the green highlights throughout to a light blue. The dock and sense lock screens look nice, why not carry that look through the rest of the theme?

Well I will be honest. I kind of rushed this. I just took the theme that I use for my SkyRaider theme and ported it to this ROM. I can do the notification screen the way that you requested. I will also look at other things and see if I can redo those.

Well I did agree with you on the notification and if you refresh the OP you will see that I just changed that. I do not know what .png file controls the name of the apps like when it says Exchange ActiveSyc, or All Apps ect... or I could see about changing that look also. I am new to theming so I just used other peoples .png files. They are in the OP's credits.

I did not create the icons. I took them from two EVO themes. I cannot create icons as I suck at it. I can only do simple edits. Thanks for the compliment.

It is in the Theme. To get the lockscreen to view download rootexplorer. Go into system/app and either rename or delete HtcLockScreen.apk then reboot. The lockscreen that you see in the OP is the default lockscreen so you have to rename or delete the HTC one to use it. Make sure that you click on r/w in rootexplorer to get wright access.

2)Unzip icons and place them on your /sdcard/

6)Select desktop visualizer small(1x1SS)
7)Click the green gear android widget that desktop visualizer has created
8)Click Select Icons
9)Click Image File
10)Select Gallery
11)Find the icon image you want in your gallery and select it
12)Now your image should be selected so press Select Action
13)Click Launch application
14)Select the desired application to match your selected icon
15)Change the label color, touch effect, ect, to desired settings
16)Hit ok at the bottom of your screen and enjoy the new icon

The Molten ones are the original, the other two are just run by Photoshop in a batch edit so im guessing that has to do with the size differences.
Great job, OP, and thanks for the icons! Anyway of getting them in a darker blue? I'm running CM with the Steel Blue theme chooser theme, and these would just be the icing on the cake

Umm I cant remember what launcher decks runs... but unzip them, put the folder from the zip on you sdcard, then hold down on a icon on your launchers home screen and select change icon or something along those lines and you should see all the icons in your gallery. If you are using a launcher that cannot swap icon images then download desktop visualizer off Google Play and apply them through that app.

Umm no... ive taken the original apps icon image, cut out what needs to be made red or black colored from those images, built the image back together with the new colors then added the glow effect. Ill be the first to admit im no photo editing expert or graphics designer but I originally made these for myself and people asked me to release them. It takes longer then you would think to try to manipulate the icons preexisting colors to get the right look, its not like i just loaded a bunch of icons into Photoshop, tossed on a a hue saturation and said hey, look at these cool icons I made. But if you think you can do the same or better in like a "pretty easy" time feel free to show me up
Oh and btw if you feel like hating on someone go check out that other guys glowing theme because those images are literally loaded in and out of gimp. I should know he asked me how to make the effect.
Also since we are being critical of each others work your ICS them for MikG has the ugliest navbar and lockring I have seen in a while. Go for something more like an SOSX look or else good job haha.

heres a screen of some of the new themed icons tho some i edited manually using icon changer... i will upload a zip file with all icons this evening
I am also working on an edition to this theme which ill release by tomorrow hopefully.... it's gonna be called "A Touch Of Tiffany" you can see the color blue im using by looking at the google search widget and wallpaper on this theme. Its the Tiffany & Co. color blue which I have always liked... I am only putting it here and there tho. Very minimal. So will be blacked-out for the most part with hints of the blue

Loving this. I really like dynamic but switched to tweaked just to use your themes. I don't know if possible but is there a way too use stock icons? I have always used unicon to change icons but it will not overwrite your icons. Please and thank you.

I appreciate it brother... I'm glad that you like them! As far as the icons go when you say stock icons which are you referring to the actual app icons like on the dock and stuff? If so ya I can upload you a zip to flash which will revert the themed app icons back to stock no prob

Yeah just the app icons and dock icons. Well actually I really like the dock icons but whatever is easiest. I would really appreciate it. This one and ill are just sweet! Thanks a ton my man.

OK no problem I'll put together a zip for you... 1 with all the icons replaced and then another with all the icons except for the dock icons. This is the first time I have actually themed other icons besides just the normal dock icons. I prefer only my dock icons themed and the rest stock because it's hard for me to find the exact app I'm looking for cause I'm so used to the regular old stock icons...but I have gotten soon many requests over my theming time that I finally decided to throw some more icons in but I'm with you on the stock icons but like I said besides the dock icons lol

That's exactly how I feel. I love themed icons. The ocd in me likes them to all be the same. Try unicon if you haven't. Works great with touchwiz. Uses apex and Nova icon packs. Thanks a bunch man. Hope you had a good Turkey day!

no bro actually i have note 4... but any apk releated from 4.4.4 work on note 4... so i really like your keyboard and used your keyboard on my note 3 alot... so just asked you if you are planning to do this..

Bought full on Android 10 oxygen, Dims my nav bar icons which makes it hard for me to navigate.
Also could you make a signal icon that is similar to krack wifi icon

- try if you theme only signal (not wifi) , if that helps.

Yes i have tried all the icon sets. Most of them are consuming too much space on the taskbar, so please consider this thing while updating next icon sets. I also suggest to add few more icon sets for network. And also add a icon for battery that will be really appreciated. Also attaching a image for your reference to add new icon sets.

Hey Rohit, thank you for your comment. I fear i won't make battery icons as they don't fit into my theme. It bases just on signal and wifi. Or just not in the near future.
Regarding the flat style app - these icons look nice, but i just can't kang their style. I can do something similiar tho.
