I was trying to root my phone, did it, but messed something up, so I had to install stock firmware, however, i live in Poland and downloaded stock firmware for Poland, but my phone's country stock firmware was Nordic ( I didn't know that ), since then I can't unlock my OEM because every time I try, it locks again. I don't know why, I have that option but its impossible to unlock because that option reset every time I confirm warning (about knox etc.). I heard it may be because of not same original stock firmware for my phone however for some reason, Polish stock firmware is newer than Nordic, and everytime I try to flash new stock firmware, It shows an error about SV REV. CHECK (BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 8, BINARY: 7 so it's kinda impossible. Do someone have an idea?
I'm really sorry about my English, I hope you can understand.

A network provider can disable OEM when you install branded firmware. Poland plus network for example.
The Unbranded, generic firmware for Poland is https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s7/firmware/SM-G930F/XEO/download/G930FXXS8ETC3/327938/
It is version 8, downlaod and flash with Odin.
As I said, I already have installed this firmware, and this is a problem, because original firmware for my phone should be Nordic

The G930f can have any EU firmware installed. You said the version you were trying to install is version 7. The firmware I've linked to is version 8 Poland. You don't have to use Nordic as I've said, any unbranded EU countries firmware will work as long as it's version 8, as the error is telling you.
You could install United Kingdom BTU and change language in settings to Polish.

Hi all, got an update this morning for the baltic variant of kit kat.

Off the 3 official kitkat 4.4.2 roms I have tested, Switzerland & Poland & Baltic, I find the Baltic one the best.
At least I get to use kitkat before the BTU variant is released,as long as I use the official sam-mobile firmware, basically I can test the different country variants of the new kitkat 4.4.2 without fear of tripping knox, and I still get the OTA updates.
Did you check your CSC?I had Netherland 4.4.2 PHN-N9005XXUENA6 and after i see what you write here i flash Baltic SEB-N9005XXUENA6 for the OTA update.Everything went ok but after i get the update now it's Poland new version CSC:NB1 (XEO).
Before update...
After update...
But here you don't see the CSC.You must install phone info and there you can see what country you have.

Hi orly.
Didn't see that, weird? why would an update change the CSC back to Poland, my CSC also shows N9005OXXENB1 and kies still says its an official version?
So to try to understand process I did a wipe cache and wipe data in recovery and it still shows N9005OXXENB1, so I re flashed Baltic ROM again and it now shows CSC N9005OXXENA5, now when I plug my note 3 into kies it says it wants to change it back
Just realised that the CSC has changed but both were the same XEO!
See screen dump.
Yes it's like mine. But the problem is that i have the Baltic CSC and now i have the Polonian CSC. Only with OTA update.

To see CSC put in *#1234# in phone dialer
I will flash the Switzerland ROM again after tea and report back, I am guessing that the first kitkat ROM you flash is the CSC you get stuck with unless you root, and the CSC variations are only small software programs that are country specific like the Switzerland ROM. As I flashed the first official Poland ROM I am stuck with XEO.
The core features like like say having 4G in settings are ROM specific not the CSC files, which is why I swapped between all the 3 kitkat versions I have tested..
My first rom was a baltic 4.3 with that one i bought the Phone.First time i have Baltic CSC then uk CSC after flash i made a full wipe and then Netherland CSC. I verify in kies3.
Phew..
So I flashed the Switzerland ROM again and my CSC is now N9005PHNENA2, I tried hard reset from menu and hasen't changed, plugged into pc for kies and says its latest? So I was wrong you can change the CSC it appears?
Which is great as I am waiting for the BTU variant this month hopefully.
I told you. Only on my s3 i need a software for change csc. It mean That you flash a old firmware. You didnt trip Knox?

I have never been rooted on my Note 3, and I only flashed official firmware from samfirmare.com, not posted ones on XDA just in case, I use odin 3.09
You can see from my previous screen dumps while I flashed different variants this week, and I include a screen shot from my note 3 as of today with the latest Poland ROM.
I've flashed Official Poland 4.4.2 Feb 2014 too... just curious can you install an application from APK files ? I seems having problems not able to do it short while after Factory Reset... already enable in setting thou but still the Install bar can't be click...
? SM-N9005 @ Tapatalk ?
Yes you can.But first you must enable from settings unknown sources.Everything it's ok no wifi drop or something else sayed somebody.
New Poland ROM has same problems for me as first Poland release, i.e.. screen off f-ups and wake lock problems, phone does random lock ups when switching screen back on, and no buttons seem work for a few seconds and screen blank, capacitive buttons sometimes light up? I had to hold power button down for 10 seconds once to get a re boot!
So I am flashing back to the Baltic ROM again.
So I've been waiting a while for a firmware suitable for my phone, and not sure if I have. It matches my model (SM-G920F), but the carrier/country just says 'Unknown'.
Is it alright to flash an Unknown firmware onto my phone (Which is Unlocked)
No
but you can use smartswitch to flash it it will choose right ROM for you

All you have to do is flash the Stock Firmware onto it. (Usually it completely wipes your phone too, but for some reason it didn't wipe any of my stuff!)
you can flash XEF (France) or any 6.0.1 firmware including Vodafone ones, my G920F is also unlocked and flashed the first one that appeared...no problems

Thanks for the response. Is there a big difference between flashing the french one, than waiting for a United Kingdom one instead? If so what would the differences be between French and UK firmware?
the UK has two preinstalled Vodafone apps that i disabled via the debloater, the french one has no carrier preinstalled apps, i use the Vodafone one and I'm on Orange network and have no problems I'm too lazy to flash the french one, i was eager to get MM on my device and after installing all the apps i thought to keep the Vodafone one because it runs flawless i recommend a factory reset after flashing the firmware

Hello peeps, i have installed the latest firmware for the SM-G930F from Belgium (G930FXXS3ERL4_G930FVFG3ERJF_PRO) but somehow the carrier apps from vodafone get installed when booting into the system even though the Proximus app should be installed... I have tried to reinstall it multiple time and still have the same outcome? had this problem with my S6 Edge in the past too but i fixed it somehow (I didn't fix it but it fixed itself tho XD)

There is only one reason this happens, the firmware is not an unbranded international version.
Complete waste of time messing about with Belgian, French,German version etc just Download the BTU firmware from sammobile or direct from Samsung. It's says United Kingdom but it's basically western Europe unbranded.

So if i download and install the BTU version what will be different rom the belgian software? Like i remember with my s4 i used to install BTU firmware all the time because there wasn't one for belgium, but didn't notice anything different with my sim card... so i hope this will be the same that i still have the functionallity like i had before i flashed custom roms

The BTU stock holds all the csc codes, base bands, network functions for all of the European region which means once it connects to the network in your country, it automatically detects which system files to use so you "don't notice anything different" than if you had installed country specific like Belgian.
There is always one stock which hold everything for a region, in Europe its the UK unbranded, generic, international, BTU version. It works everywhere in Europe.
okay so i've installed the btu version and it worked just fine, except it was a little slower and idk why. but when i tried to use mobile networks it wouldn't work so i checked my apn settings and my provider wasn't in there so i had to add it manually wich for me turned into an even slower experience on my phone... I really don't know what i did wrong or what happend, so is it possible to get a detailed instruction to flash the stock oreo rom? and also a how to for rooting stock oreo with magisk? because my guess would be that something went wrong when rooting

Hello well unfortunately Belgium isn't important enough country to have your own unbranded stock firmware.
APN settings should install automatically when you connect to mobile network in your country.
There is a specific guide to follow to root S7 on Oreo, please google and follow it exactly.
Also BTU is a stock Oreo ROM.
When I turn on OEM unlock a popup comes up saying security is disabled and stuff then I press Turn On and it doesn't, it just stays where it is. I have tried flashing different firmware from carrier firmware to unbranded firmware and had no success. Anyone know a solution?

The best unbranded firmware for Europe is the United Kingdom BTU, it enables everything, has all European languages and country codes. Try that.

The thing is when I first got this phone I was able to turn it on no problems on stock Oreo 8.0 then I rooted it and installed twrp then I messed something up with twrp and had to flash the firmware from unbranded DBT again. Now when I try to turn on OEM unlock it just doesnt work as stated in the first post. Also I dont want to through the hassle of downloading another firmware since here it would take ages to download.

Hello please download Samfirm tool from this forum and download the firmware direct from Samsung .It takes about 5 minutes.
Hi all,
Yesterday I bought an S10e under the impression that it is sm-g970F.
Trying to flash Android 11 I discovered that it is actually sm-g970N.
Is there really a difference between them?
Should I be worried that some functions will be missing/unavailable?
Also, in the settings, it appears as g970F. How did the seller change it??
I have the same problem i tried to update the phone to the latest sm-g970f rom (figured if it's already installed it's possible)
And non of the roms flashed only when i decided to try latest sm-g970n rom it flashed however i bricked the phone and i have no idea what to do now.

So after digging into the issue since i have the same problem here are my conclusions:
1. The phone is a Korean Variant G970N it is probably a renewed phone and not a new one.
apparently it's okay for an importer to take used phones (from Korea in this case) and replace all the cosmetics but of cause leaving the used MB.
Now here is what you should worry about, in order to flash the G970F Fixed Rom (there is no way you have updates) they used a Custom Kernel which means the phone was rooted and now Knox is tripped (this not reversible).
(Download Phone Info from play store and check knox if it shows 0x1 then your phone warrenty is void and some features won't be available any more for example - Samsung Pay).
So what should you do?
Well if you still have the option i would have demanded my money back!!
One thing that i am perplexed about is how in hell is this legal?!!!
If you no longer have this option or you want to keep the phone you have two option:
1. Flashing Korean Unbranded Firmware (KOO) which is pretty good it doesn't have bloatware or issues as far as i can tell, i only found one down side for it, the phone language selection is small but if you only need English (like any normal Human) then you are golden.
2. Keep the G970F ROM but bare in mind it will receive no updates and no security patches.
I am still looking for a proper way to flash G970F Firmware over G970N for now i haven't found any internet source that will confirm it's even possible.
So how did those importers\sellers did it, they probably flashed it with a Cellphone Lab Software (not Odin solution) and used a custom Kernel to fool Knox, like i said before this is practically a crime and i don't understand how can they sell used phones as new and get away with it!!!!
I had the same suspicions....
I'll try going to the lab that sold the previous owner the device and deal with them tho it looks like I just got scammed...
Sorry to bring this up again but I've just had an idea following JerryRigEverything's video:
What if I transplant SM-G970F components from a broken device that no longer works or in use in my SM-G970N which is supposedly new.
My N device is now bricked for some reason I couldn't solve, though my suspicion is that it has to do with incompatibility with the SIM card I use.
When my device did work, it worked great! ...besides battery issues that are most likely a result of the incompatibility aforementioned.
Will this work? If so, what components do I need? I already know I'll need the logic board but as seen in the video, there are several more antennas, should I just copy what Jerry did?

Hi Vegetto,
I am from India and buy a galaxy S10e from UAE, It is showing G970F in the Phone's about but the problem is It is a G960N. Now, When I see in Sam Phone Info app there is Bootloader version - G970N, PDA Version - G970F, CSC G970F.
It is also a Knox tripped phone. Knox 0/1.
But if I see in Samsung code by typing in keypad *#12580*369#
it showing like all option in Odin:
BL: G970F
AP: G970F
CP: G970F
CSC: G970F
Does this means I can flash new Firmware on the list of SAM Mobile website, with G970F series firmware, It also showing in SAM Phone Info App that there latest firmware G970FXXSEFUL1/G970FOXMEFUJ2/G970FXXSEFUJ2.
I am in India right now.
Please help me, My email Id is -- [email protected]
It actually means you cannot flash SM-G970F the only roms you can flash are G970N.
Also if you want the phone to get security updates you must flash the original phones bootloader version, my suggestion download the G970N KOO firmware it's a global firmware. As for the knox it is tripped and there is nothing you can do about it.

How can I flash the original phone's bootloader version?
Where from I can download the original phone's G970N KOO Firmware and is it official Samsung Firmware?
How are they able to flash G970F? Is it custom Rom or do they use the original one?
I searched that my phone is using G970FXXS4BTB3 firmware which Vietnam XXV and same number found at https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s10e/firmware/SM-G970F/XXV/download/G970FXXS4BTB3/322678/ in an old update in 2020.
So see the attached screenshot, can I flash its latest version with odin. Of course, there is a chinese written in recovery mode installed when I go to its recovery mode for flashing with Odin.
I have a similar problem right now on my Korean S10E. Device is SM-G970N. I need it to be in Turkish. Only Themes item in Settings is in Turkish- very interesting- The rest is in English. App names are mostly Turkish Settings app name is in English.
The bootloader is unlocked but the phone is not rooted, Knox seems not tampered.
Could not start OTA update at first, I have upgraded a few versions from PC via Smartswitch. Just then noticed OTA also started downloading. The rest of the updates went on from the phone until upgrading to 12, there was a message like "All of the updates were not succesful." OTA update no longer responded. This time I turned back to Smart Switch. Update finished this time and finally I am at the latest version.
I only need Turkish in Settings. I used some ADB commands and an app called MoreLocale2. It did not work either. This has to be simple. Turkish exists. Keyboard is Turkish but not Settings. Quick links and most other things are strangely mixed English and Turkish.
How can I enable full Turkish?
