Facebook services, is pre-installed. Just go into Settings> Apps & notifications > See All apps > (top right side hit 3 dots > show system) Click and disable (can't uninstall unfortunately) all facebook apps you see. I had three already in place, "Facebook app installer" "Facebook App manager" & " Facebook Services"
Oh and you can probably remove over ADB, I haven't yet but probably will attempt in the future.

I'm pretty sure none of these apps are needed to run the Facebook app, but I do not use Facebook so I'm not sure. I am pretty sure though, that regardless if these are uninstalled/disabled when installing the official Facebook app, it will do the same thing as those apps and monitor stuff on your phone. I highly recommend if you want Facebook either go through a browser or look through the XDA apps & games section and there a few custom facebook apps that sandbox it and don't allow it to collect data from the phone.
This newer thread (below) shows how to REMOVE all of the facebook apps:

What's in this version:
You now have the Installed and All tabs you can swipe between. The former one is what we used to have before - it lists all apps installed on your device. The latter lists all apps you've ever installed in case you want to download them again or travel down the memory lane. This is quite handy, and I've seen this list before in the Play Store on the web, so it's great to get it here in the mobile app.
The All tab contains a handy dropdown with all your accounts (if you added more than one) and lets you switch between them very easily (as opposed to clicking Menu, etc).
A few of the stock apps that apparently never got linked to the Play Store before got identified and picked up this time, and updates to them were waiting for me when I fired the Store up. I've complained about this very bug in my last rant, and it looks like someone listened.
Mod version features:
Unlimited access to apps in Google Play Store
Removed countries restriction in Google Play Store
Fixed the issue which your device is not compatible with this item in Google Play

Hello fellow Xda members,
I have a problem on a phone (S2 plus),
the application or service called "Remove apps" is taking to much mobile data,

Any help?
The "Remove apps" is a generic name for all uninstalled apps. Those 196MB are the amount, all those (uninstalled) apps used when they were installed.
Ex.: If you had Google Chrome and Youtube app installed and they transferred let's say 30MB and respectively 65MB, after you uninstall them, under Data Usage you will see: Remove apps 95MB.

Thank you for your reply,
But it's quiet strange, cause the usage is like this
1- 18 - 20 May >> 16.36 MB
2- 22-29 May >> 270 MB
3- 29 May - 2 June >> 196 MB
You're welcome.
I believe after 29/May you might have re-installed one of the previous (uninstalled) apps, and that traffic (74MB) is now shown next to the specific app. Otherwise, I can't see any reasonable explanation.
Ex.: Before 29/May Google Chrome was uninstalled after it had used 74MB. After 29/May you re-installed it, and now its traffic is shown separately: Google Chrome 74MB (or more, if you used it afterwards).

Yea you were right,
It was the synchronization of Dropbox and Onedrive.
thanks a lot
You're welcome!
I'm glad I could help.
I'm trying to get the best out of the Google Play Store and I'm looking for an advanced search but I can't find anything.
Usually when I'm looking for an app I'm not interested in games, book and whatever. Often I look straight for paid apps, but I can't see how to filter results. I can't see a way to sort results upon rates, price or last update date.
I even noticed that it's almost impossible to list ALL the apps made by Google: if I go to "more from developer" I can't see the Google Calendar app (I'm sure, checked twice, it's not in the list).
Am I missing something?
Isn't there a way to get an advanced search in which I can set strict conditions? (It doesn't matter if I have to use the computer or just android to perform an advanced search)
I'm kind of astonished ...
What? I can actually easily search google calendar 0_0 seems weird

Talking about the paid apps you can actually do it just go to shop apps then slide between top paid, free , grossing and you can also choose in category
And also make sure your play store is up to date...

I can look for "google calendar". My complain is the fact that if you filter the official apps made by Google than Google Calendar is not listed.

yes but how can you select multiple categories and add additional conditions to your search? For instance "I want to get all the free (or paid) apps about notification that have nothing to do with games" (it's just an example)
How can you run such a search?

it is and anyway whatever I say is true also for the website version
There is now an advanced search engine for Google Play available as an app, see here
basically as the title says. mainly this is important as last pass needs it on and so does Kakao talk (for notifications!)
there are a tone of suggested solutions on google, but the setting menus for the main one (disable "app optimization") do not exist on the phone (Settings > Apps > Advanced Options > Ignore Optimizations)
the other, simply add it to "protected app" list, but this does not work! both when clearing the app tray and when rebooting the phone.
so, the question: WHAT THE ACTUAL [email protected]#$
there has to be a way to do this, phone specs are bellow. Please for the love of god help me!

Hi I have also experienced this exact same annoying problem and after hours of googling and frustration I didn't find a solution.
If anyone finds a solution please advise.
I am on GEM-703L B212 stock unrooted.
EDIT: I also tried the "Ignore App Optimization" and "Protected App" options and it didn't do anything.
Bump
same problem here, for some aps like macrodroid (needs2 one stays other is turing itself off), system2, some others
On anything B212 I don't have that issue anymore. If you're rooted try moving the app you're having trouble with from data/app to system/app, set the proper permissions and then restart your phone. I use the OnePlus Gestures app and without moving it to /system is always has issues and it turns itself off in accessibility.
Hey guys, I have a problem I cannot seem to figure out.. Probably a week or two ago I stopped getting logged out notifications, I use the Tap login (saved password login) where it shows your picture and you tap it once to log in, the problem is it no longer shows the red dot with the number of notifications waiting anymore. Here are the things I've tried.
Going to APPS in Settings and checking that "Show Notifications" is enabled, which it is.

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Went to in-app Settings and Notification Settings (assuming that even has any effect on Logged out notifications I'm not sure if it does or not.) Still appears to be ok settings.
Other things I've tried:
Clearing FB app cache.
Clearing FB app data.
Unintalling FB app completely (including files left after uninstall)
Reinstalling FB app.
Clearing Cache from Recovery Mode.
Factory Reset from Recovery Mode.
None of which has fixed the problem.
Here are some details that may be useful:
Phone: ZTE ZMAX2 (z958)
Android OS Version: 5.1 Lollipop
Facebook App version: 180.0.0.35.82
I thought maybe FB broke something in one of their updates or something but everyone knows FB has next to nothing as far as support, they do have the "report a problem" on facebook but you always get an automated reply and never really know if your getting anywhere by reporting it. Also the developer email on google play but again with so many users I imagine the amount of support emails I doubt they are able to monitor them efficiently.
Anyone have any ideas whatsoever as to what the problem could be? Could it be an android setting somewhere that is blocking the apps logged out notifications? Or possibly app not syncing?
Any help would be appreciated.
bump... Anyone?
