I'm trying to get the best out of the Google Play Store and I'm looking for an advanced search but I can't find anything.
Usually when I'm looking for an app I'm not interested in games, book and whatever. Often I look straight for paid apps, but I can't see how to filter results. I can't see a way to sort results upon rates, price or last update date.
I even noticed that it's almost impossible to list ALL the apps made by Google: if I go to "more from developer" I can't see the Google Calendar app (I'm sure, checked twice, it's not in the list).
Am I missing something?
Isn't there a way to get an advanced search in which I can set strict conditions? (It doesn't matter if I have to use the computer or just android to perform an advanced search)
I'm kind of astonished ...
What? I can actually easily search google calendar 0_0 seems weird

Talking about the paid apps you can actually do it just go to shop apps then slide between top paid, free , grossing and you can also choose in category
And also make sure your play store is up to date...

I can look for "google calendar". My complain is the fact that if you filter the official apps made by Google than Google Calendar is not listed.

yes but how can you select multiple categories and add additional conditions to your search? For instance "I want to get all the free (or paid) apps about notification that have nothing to do with games" (it's just an example)
How can you run such a search?

it is and anyway whatever I say is true also for the website version
There is now an advanced search engine for Google Play available as an app, see here

What's in this version:
You now have the Installed and All tabs you can swipe between. The former one is what we used to have before - it lists all apps installed on your device. The latter lists all apps you've ever installed in case you want to download them again or travel down the memory lane. This is quite handy, and I've seen this list before in the Play Store on the web, so it's great to get it here in the mobile app.
The All tab contains a handy dropdown with all your accounts (if you added more than one) and lets you switch between them very easily (as opposed to clicking Menu, etc).
A few of the stock apps that apparently never got linked to the Play Store before got identified and picked up this time, and updates to them were waiting for me when I fired the Store up. I've complained about this very bug in my last rant, and it looks like someone listened.
Mod version features:
Unlimited access to apps in Google Play Store
Removed countries restriction in Google Play Store
Fixed the issue which your device is not compatible with this item in Google Play

Amazing, now I just received a new one.....
1.Have a look if you have unchecked Google AdMobs in Playstore Settings
2. Try "Airblocker" from the Playstore
These steps worked for me in a similar case.
Thanks will try, but why is this even happening?
The app located Sky Map Pro as the culprit so uninstalled that, so hope it works.
Never experienced this with the iPhone. Shame on Android for letting such apps through the approval process!
If we compare Play to iTunes Store - there is no approval process here ( there is, but compared to iOS it's like there is none ). Everyone can publish their apps of every kind - no restriction, no "you can't do this or that" from Google.
You have to be careful what you install. There is always the option to report an app - and then Google will take a loot at it, so i'd suggest you do that.
Hey, you guys are so lucky! Fee iPads!
I had this a while ago with a game I downloaded online (an iPhone port, not a paid app) and it kept happening out of nowhere!
Use a "task manager" or "task killer" app from the market and close any open apps one by one until you see the notification disappear. That way you'll find out which app is poisoning your phone, and you delete it straight away.
Problem solved and make sure you let people in this thread know, so if they have the same app causing this issue, then they can delete it immediately.
Hope that helps

thats how i solved it
i had that problem.
very simple ...
when u press on the notification its using the spam app to open the link.
after u press the notification
press long press on the home menu, u will see the last used apps. check the last one on the list.
thats the Spam one ! ! !
I had these before and always after a reboot....
Then I went to Play store and installed Airpush Detector. Check and Uninstalled those ad-wares.
It's gone now!
Thanks for all the great replies guys. I really appreciate it, cheers

I don't know if it was this app or CM10.1 messing up, bu tright after installing this app and trying to add it to the home screen (and it said no room was available because I missed the folder), every app force closed, then pretty much all of my apps data was erased. I mean for every app.
I had to update google play services after rebooting too.

Yes, we'll update this in the next version.
Many people use their smartphones in many different ways. Just as we have these many people that uses their smartphones in many different ways, we also have many different people that uses the Google Search Engine in many different ways also.
Some persons are just there to do a quick search and off they're gone, while some are busy looking for the many ways to do some awesome stuff on the Google Search Engine, whether for fun or otherwise. So if you're among those that wants to do some unusual stuffs in the Google Search Engine, then you should read this article to the end.
This is one popular trick you probably didn't know you can do in the Google Search Engine. It is called Google Gravity, which makes Google to come crashing to the ground like this.

First of all, open your browser and type "google.com" in the address bar to load up google's own homepage.
NOTE: You must use google.com, do not use the built-in Google search plugin that comes pre-installed with your browser, or else this trick wouldn't work.
When Google's own homepage loads up, type Google Gravity in the search bar, and click on "I'm Feeling Lucky" m
NOTE: For those using Chrome browser, if you can't see i'm feeling lucky after following the above steps, please kindly switch your browser to Desktop mode like this.
After typing the phrase and hitting the Lucky button, wait for it to load up. After it loads up, just tap anywhere on your screen, and you will see Google crashing down to the bottom of your device.
NOTE: You can as well pick up the fallen pieces and throw them in whatever direction you desire, by just tapping and swiping your finger in whatever direction you want it to go to. same applies to those using desktop or laptop PC.
That is what we have today for Google Gravity, keep watch for more of this coming up soon. Tell us what other tricks you know and have used in the comments section below.
And don't forget to share this article with your friends and family, to help someone crash Google today.
Hello! I have a lot of apps on Google Play. Some of them have more than 500.000+ downloads, one even about 2.000.000. Since there is a war in my country (I'm from Ukraine), I haven't been developing apps or monitoring my Google Play profile for a long time, more than a year.
During this time, I received one suspension of an unpopular app because of a double interpretation of a phrase in the description of the main page of the live wallpaper ("Saves maximum battery" - I meant that it was a resource and energy-efficient app, but the Google Play administration decided that this is a function that cannot be implemented physically and suspended the application according to the Deceptive Behavior policy), and several removed applications, because I placed links to my other Google Play applications in the settings and did not notice it as advertising.
Now that I have the opportunity to work again, I looked at the statistics and was shocked - my top apps that had more than 5,000+ installs per day don't even have 10.
I also finished and published two apps that I had started to develop before the full-scale Russian invasion. But unfortunately, in two weeks they don't even have 500 installs, and almost all of this traffic is from users of my other old apps.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is this a shadow ban or just a natural process when you don't pay attention to apps on Google Play for a long time?
IMO there is no way to tell for sure if Google Play has imposed a shadowban.

Thank you for your response.
I haven't really contacted Google support yet, but it's unlikely that it will help. Instagram and TikTok also do not officially recognize shadow bans, but they definitely exist.

Ghost, or green mode. You can test it... depending on the site it will be detectable in various ways. Not undetectable
Gookill does this crap wholesale with their search engine so I wouldn't doubt they do it whenever they like. Especially for money.
