[Completed] Default download manager deleted

phone model : lava iris 402+
Android version : 4.2.2
my phone is ROOTED. few days back i make a backup of 'download manager' with ES FILE EXPLORE. then uninstall it. then I Reset my phone. but next time when I use play store I can't download or update any app. it just show 'downloading' and nothg happen.
I also try to reinstall download manager from that backup Apk. but it shows 'not installed'.
and my keyboard is also not working after the reset. it shows ' unfortunately keyboard has stop working'
I also try to find some solution on google. but couldn't find much. mostly tells me to install new ROM. that I don't know how to do.
Is there a way in which I don't have to install new ROM.
plz help me solve this problem.
Thanks.
Thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately your device does not have a dedicated thread on XDA and there is very little information available. When you have deleted system apk's it's often necessary to flash the stock firmware for your device to get it working again. You could try Googling how to install stock firmware for your device.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Its okay.. Thanks anyway

Google play store error 505 after nougat update

I use Facebook for work as we have fan pages. I use Facebook pages manager to manage them. I never had Facebook downloaded on the z5(work phone). I received a notice in play store that pages manager had an Update available. That's when I started receiving the 505 error code when trying to update the pages manager. Then I uninstalled the pages manager and tried to reinstall and now it won't install at all keeps giving me the 505 code. I read online where they say to remove the Google account and then add the Google account back, clear cache and data etc.... and if that doesn't work of course reset your phone. I'm not going to reset my phone because I will lose too many important chats with in different applications on the phone.
Is anybody else seeing this issue?
Update: the only apps that won't update are Facebook,f.b.pages manager, and now f.b.messenger....I'm not a Facebook fan,but need them for work.
This is an unlocked phone bought from Sony in Thailand. Model E6653, build# 32.3.A.0.376

if you are rooted and have sony ric disabled then install playstore again using lucky patched, but first go to settings apps find google play store and wipe everything from that app.
EDIT : Best thing is to use titanium backup(you have to be rooted) and backup every app that you have important chats on, and then do full wipe(excluding /system).
Full stock z5
I'm not rooted. I'm also using a Huawei mate 9 with 7.0 and having no problem with Facebook apps. Thanks.

Is the problem only with page manager or with other apps, if only page manager simply download page manager apk from apkmirror and install it and that's it.
Only Facebook apps are effected.
I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to installing apk, roots etc...

Apkmirror is source of official apks so it is same thing like if you download from playstore.
So I need to download from unknown sources? Check that option in security section?

Open this :
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/facebo...manager-102-0-0-15-67-2-android-apk-download/
press download apk, then go to:
Settings Security enable unknown sources and then install this apk, just press on it in notification area, after installing disable unknown sources if you want and that's it.
Even though I get a warning message saying it can harm my device?
Thanks for your help.

Ignore it, i use apkmirror for years and never had any problems with any apk.
It downloaded, but I can't locate it. It's not in my app drawer or on any home screen.....
I went to my down load section, and tried to click it,but it says can not because it conflicts with existing package. So I know it's in the phone, but how do I access it...?.....
File Commander or any other file manager and locate Downloads folder and there it is.
When I try to download
Here is the screen shot
It won't open......

I did. I deleted any file that had the word Facebook in it from file manager too. I even went into Google play store under all apps and deleted it from there also.
It's so strange how it only FB,FB messenger, and the page manager
Well this is a bug. I experienced this problem after upgrading to Nougat from Marshmallow using flashtool. Sideloading (apk) won't work. Do a factory reset, that's the only fix.
It's just too much trouble factory resetting. I'll just have to use my other device.
Thanks guys.
you have to do a clean install not update..

Downgrade back to EMUI 9 possible?

Hi All,
I was wondering whether its currently possible to downgrade back to EMUI 9? I received my Mate 30 Pro today (Model LIO-AL00), and it came with Android 10 out of the box. It has also applied a bunch of updates and I am now on 10.0.0.135.
I have tried the various guides to side-load Gapps via the backup method. Whilst the Gapps install, I can't open them. LZplay also doesn't want to start. I've tried all sorts of guides (including: https://www.gearbest.com/blog/how-t...ll-google-apps-gms-on-huawei-mate-30-pro-8639) but they all fail.
I also stumbled across the thread that talks about using Virtual Exposed (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-30-pro/how-to/microg-t3977821). I can get Virtual Exposed installed, and the play store installed, but it doesn't open either.
So, I was wondering whether its possible (somehow?) to downgrade back to EMUI 9, so that I can use the LZPLAY method?
Thanks!!
Don't need to go back to 9. You can still get playstore on emui 10. I did it yesterday. Guide section install Google Play guide works. Rithina is op
Thanks for the quick response! Could you tell me which method you used, and what version of EMUI you did it on? Feel free to send me a private message if you don't want to share it publicly. Thanks!

I had seen that post, and I had tried it yesterday without any luck.
This morning I reset the phone and started again. Following the link from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-30-pro/how-to/install-gms-google-play-store-t3992095
I managed to restore the HiSuite backup (only apps and settings)
Installed Google Apps fine
Started LZplay, but then get connection errors (see screenshots)
Do I need to VPN into China for this to work? Because the phone is trying to get to https://api.lzplay.net, which no longer exists.
It also tries to go to http://configdownload.dbankcdn.com/ which is also throwing an error.
Any ideas?

Lzplay is meant to not work. Now close it and install all the Google system apps and play store. Give them all permissions they ask for.

Hi Mate, I have done that, but none of them work. These instructions all follow the same pattern, and I have tried 4x different methods now. None work.
NOTE one thing: I cannot use HiSuite 9.0.3_300 to restore the LZplay backup. I am forced to use 9.1.0_309OVE because of the Android version on my phone. That is the ONLY thing that deviates from the instructions!
This one doesn't work: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...all-google-service-huawei-mate30-pro-t3992171
This one doesn't work: https://lmphotography641.wordpress.com/2019/10/27/installing-google-play-store-for-mate-30-pro/
I can get the backup restored and all apps installed, but they just don't work . I made this video show the situation; https://youtu.be/BkAxzTzwPuQ
Should this still work with a later version of HiSuite?

So lzplay has admin rights? Have you tired istalling the Google apps again over themselves without uninstalling them first?

OK, I FINALLY managed to get it working. I followed these instructions:
Download and unzip the lzplay package (this contains the most important application data to be restored, please do not confuse with the newly downloaded lzplay package)
2, connect Hisuite (pc Huawei mobile phone assistant) click data recovery
3, find lzplay decompression package, only restore applications and data (only restore assistant application and application data, application data is the most important! application data is the most important! application data is the most important!) does not restore system settings!
4, restart the phone after data recovery
5, then download the corresponding version of the Google package and install (corresponding to the Google package and lzplay link below) Note: Install these Google packages based on all permissions
6. After the installation is complete, open the Google Service Assistant and activate the device manager.
7, restart the phone after activation is complete
8, open the settings drop-down to see if there is a google icon, if there is, then the installation is successful, if not, repeat the installation steps
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Open GMAIL first, register your account, and Google Play should then also start working.
The first couple of times I tried to either add a Gmail account or go directly to the Playstore, which didn't work. Now I opened Gmail, added my address, signed in and it all started working!
Thanks for all your input guys. Much appreciated!!

So in step 6, I would sign in when I opened google app store?
So this requires a memory card?
Can it be done thru HiSuite and a laptop? I don't have a memory card or usbdrive

this method 100% functional and without problems? neither gps nor after restarts?
by the way, can you clear the cache memory? or never clear cache memory?
@Skyline_r Can you please guide on the adb installation part. I tried to run the command mentioned on icebox app on my PC after installing the ADB but it is not detecting anything.
I'm actually waiting on this part and then I can go through your new video.
Also, a very stupid question but I would like to know a way out for not factory resetting my data and setting up the phone again as fresh.
If I backup my current data > Factory Reset > Do the new GMS trick > Restore Old Backup lafter the new process, will it work?

huawei p40 lite -> play protect error

Hello yesterday i succesfully iinstall googleservices and playstore on the huawei p40 lite, note that playstore, gmail works perflectlly.. Then i download an app from playstore and the app has the option to login via google in the first try i login successfull to the app, the next try she give me an error: Device has not certifired by google proptect, also i submit my device id on google in order to certified but still get the error when i try to login to app via google account, Device has not certifired by google proptect.. Any way to fix that ?? has anyone fetch the same problem ??
Cheers
I tried several methods without success. In the end, the result is always the same - play protect error.
Follow this method https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYOU_YxrHhc&t=1598s
Which account are you trying to log in ?
Same problem here, but with every app
I think i got it to work, i force stopped all the google apps and cleared cache and data 5 times on every app, restarted my phone, and now i dont get notifcations any more and the apps works (I also registered my device ID at google)
Yup now it works fine! Thank you!
