Hi all!
I have a Xiaomi Mi 3 and until yesterday everything was fine.
Today the Play Store stopped working. It writes "Check your connection and try again". If I press Retry it refreshes in less than 1 second and displays that error again.
I've tryed to clear data and cache of Play Store, wipe the cache of the phone, install a different version of the play store from an APK, delete the file /etc/hosts, delete the Google account and readd it...
But nothing worked.
Can you help me?
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist kindly factory reset your device and update your apps to latest version available for your device
Good Luck
Hi Guys,
I am using GT-S7262 with Android v4.1.2 . The phone is not rooted. Last month Google Play stopped working all of a sudden. Whenever I used to open it, I would get an error cannot connect to internet. After sometime the error changed to Error Retrieving Information from Server RH-01. I cleared data, cache and uninstalled all the updates but it didn't help. I even cleared data of Google Services framework and force stopped it, even removed the google account. Cleared data of apps such as play store, play services and rebooted the phone but it din't work. Even signing out and again signing in didn't work. I was getting this error in the Android System Recovery
http://oi65.tinypic.com/24lu6nt.jpg
So, I formatted my phone and the default Play Store version is opening but when I click on download any app I get this error "ABCD" could not downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server. [DF-DLA-15]). What should I do now?
Thanks
Any help guys?

Any help guys?
My Huawei mate 8 (latest firmware NXT-AL10 8.0.0.839) was purchased in China. I had no problem installing Google services without root. 2 days ago I could not connect to the play store anymore. I had a server error. After 2 days I thought it probably did not come from the server. I looked on the net and followed tutorials. I tried to clear the cache and data, delete my google account and put it back. Nothing works. After uninstalling Play Store, I wanted to reinstall it impossible . Whatever the version, I have this message: the system failed to install the package because it tries an authorization that it is already by some packages (in adb it does not work either). For info, all other applications google can be reinstalled without problems and I have no problem to create a Google account in the settings.
I figured if I redo the whole procedure using GSMinstaller, it should work. Big mistake, Unable to uninstall Google Play Services. The procedure stops there.
For info the application GoogleInstaller (version 2 or 3) does not work either. I have this message: "System failed to install the package because it tries an authorization that is already by some packages
So back to square one. How to reinstall the Play Store? I would like to avoid doing a factory restore because I'm not sure that on Emui_8, GSMinstaller works.
Waiting for your answers
Thank you and good day

signing in again doesn't resolve
If I delete my account and try to resign in
I can't login anymore ...getting error that this device is not Google protect certified
Go download Device ID apk, look for GMS ID then go to dedicated Google webpage and register it as if you were using a device with custom ROM, should work fine then

To achieve your goal, simply follow these guidelines:
Download the Chat Partner APK file directly from your smartphone. It is an application that allows you to easily install Google Services on your smartphone
Once the download is complete, click on the file directly from the notification drop-down and proceed with the installation following the instructions on the screen (or use a common File Manager to proceed)
Once installation is complete, start the newly installed program. DO NOT login when requested, but click on the Detect device item
At this point, click on Repair Now and automatically you will be sent back to the Google page where you will have to enter your credentials with email and password
Following these steps, you will need to restart your smartphone
Upon restart, you can open the Play Store and access your Google account: from now on you can download all the Google apps directly from the Play Store.

Hello, I have a Mate 30 Pro latest version LIO-N29 10.0.0.192 that is having the same issue (Device is not play protect Certified) I also used device info app and copied Google Service Framework ID (GSF) and then registered on the google site for uncertified devices but it is still throwing up the same error. Can you please share your method. Thanks
All my apps are still working under google and updating fine.
Could it be that they are "targeting" the Chinese versions. Mine is an international model...or do we receive this error only when trying to register a new installation?
It is absolutely necessary in order to install right Google services that the Mate 30 Pro has had a factory reset before.
And when they are going to be installed, follow the steps without failures.

If you make a factory reset and then you install GMS files right, there should be no error. I have a Chinese Mate 30 Pro 5G and the Play Store works perfectly.

As i said before, Fresh Device, everything installs properly, google uncertified page shows registered but still popping up. Some one on another forum mentioned that new devices that haven`t had GMS prior to the popup issue are the ones that can`t get certified. Mate 30 pro`s that already had GMS installed are able to get certified and hence not have the popup certification issue anymore.

I have Mate 30 Pro too. I have using 2 days with no problem. So, you can try
it is working for the play protect notification but you lose push notification, that's what happened with me so far on China model of mate30pro.
PLEASE HELP! I cannot install the first Google Play Services app downloaded from the link after I uninstalled existing Google Play Services app. Installation of Google Play Services always failed because (it says) my device has newer version even after I uninstalled it.
Now my device does not have Google Play Services but I can't install the version downloaded from the link.
My phone suddenly gave me tge play protect cerification error and could not access playstore, youtube, google maps, chrome,... Etc.
However, i tried the googlifier method and i have everything working fine yet the google play services is not updated and thus Android auto does not work and requires me to update Google play services and when i did i got the certification error again.
Any solution?
Problem solved finally.

It worked, thank you very much.
Had to do it today too, but I skipped all the app activities, just uninstalled the Google Play services, and installed the older one, posted in this thread.
Worked like a charm.
I can open again Google apps without error messages, but Android Auto still does not work, because the fixed installed Google play services is an older version. Any solution for Android Auto?
I have tried a few options out there, however despite un-installing the GPS when I go to install the 1st pkg it returns with a message to say I already have a 'newer' version installed.
I have rebooted the phone to see if that would clear it however nothing.
Force stop GPS & clear Data before uninstall. Afterwards, install the GPS fix from the video link. It should work.

Unfortunately having un-installed GPS already I do not have the option to do the above. Tried downloading the same version via APK however that is also noting that I am using the latest version.

Managed to find a workaround for Android Auto. I've installed Virtual Android from Google Play, I've installed latest Google services & Android Auto on it and it works perfectly

Yeah this is the same problem from years. Push notifications are broken with these kind of method.
Is this method working? I can't downgrade and I feel bad about my fiancée for recommending this camera phone to her. I would like to find a way to allow you to use at least contacts and mail. Can you help me?
