Hello everyone!
I have a doubt about the battery's life of cell phones. Is it harmfull to charge the phone several (2, 3 or 4) times per day? Something like using it until it 20%, then charge it again up to 80%, and so on...
Can anyone help me?
I have Xiaomi Mi 9.
Thanks!

Recommend letting it fully drain, then try.

When device is charging should be hot, or not?, the device is cool.
Thanks.
Now after 11 hours chain I disconnect, connect again and show 100% I switch on and sow 78%.
I don't understand, some idea?
Thanks
SOLVED.... INCREDIBLE... I was charging the tab with a USB cable extended, today I tried to charge without it and works perfectly.
Conclusion, use only the original cable without extender cable.....

What samsung reccomend for charging time ? How long exactly ...
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk 2
3 hours, 15 minutes and 42 seconds every 3rd Tuesday, but only leap years.
Charge it when you get to 15% and just use it. When it is charged it will let you know - disconnect. Done.
With original charger from 5% to 100% approx. 5 hrs with screen off but Sync fully on .....
Im asking about manufacturer recommended duration for best battery life. And im also asking because its best to break the battery in proper by only charging for the recommended duration.
Thanks though

Nope. You won´t find any guidelines by the manuf since You are supposed to only use original chargers which guarantee an optimum charging procedure and a shut off of charging once batt is fully charged provided GNote is switched off or trickle charge when it is on to keep batt full.
The Note (along with every other smartphone or tablet released in the past 4-5 years) has a built in smart battery charger that handles automatic charge cutoff.
Manufacturer recommended charge time is a concept from the age of dumb time-based NiCd chargers, which haven't been sold anywhere for years.
Really because acer recommends 4 hours for the a500 only a year old device. Which i asked because i asummed other companys had similar recommendations.
So it has to be off for auto shut off ?

Does not have to be off. Just charge it as you please. Try not to discharge it below 15% for best battery life.
Battery charge rate.

New Note 10.1 owner here ................ last night it took 6 hrs to charge from 50% turned off.
Tonight I will charge it turned on in the airplane mode to see what happens.
When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the OnePlus 2's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
My oneplus 2 standby drain is too much! 8-10% drops in 7-8 hours

Mine drain 1%-3% in standby.. Oxygen OS has great standby..

same. my My oneplus 2 on CM12.1 drain 8-10% battery in 7-8 hours standby regardless the data connection is ON/OFF.
it is even worse when i was on oxygen OS.
When my WiFi is on the battery is drained around 8-10% or else 3-5% . I'm on oxygen 2.1.0
Oxygen 2.1.1 Minimal Battery Drain
With Wi-fi the battery drain is only 2% over 6hrs in night
Depends on the signal reception,
Must most of the time, the phone only wake up for like few minutes, and will go to deep sleep for hours if untouched. So far so good i guess..
My Standby Drain was in 12hours = 3% lost! No extra apps was installed.
Fully charged, unplugged and let phone lying for 12 hours. This is my result: (See attached pics)

It's Resurrection Remix
Could be, but you have no google account setup, no mail sync setup. So, this is not real use of smart phone...

From where do you know about
No Android OS, Google Serivces, Cell standby in the list... Therefore not normal phone usage, wifi off etc.
It's looking better after 2.2.0 update now my phone drains 0% battery life in 5—6 hours
It was worst in 2.1.2
Sent from my ONE A2001 using Tapatalk
My battery drains like 8-10% overnight in about 6-7 hours. But then i have crappy cell reception ... Imagine using dual sim with such a bad cell reception ...

This is not also good that in 5-6 hours the battery brains 0%. 2.2.0 has a problem of sudden drops of percentage upto 10 % suddenly (with in 10 t0 15 min use) as the consequence of 0% drop of 5—6 hours non use......
With boeflla inside idle drain is negligible, but with stock it drains faat
Its more than good
Pretty bad. Even in stand-by, my phone is still empty at the end of the day. This is with a fresh os install on many different roms.

So my battery only charges up to 61%. I've already changed the battery, let it run down to 0% and left it charging all night, flashed stock, factory reset, everything. I bought this phone refurbished. What else can I try?
Also, when charged at 61% gsam shows me the battery has 4200~4300 mV. But it goes down pretty quickly to about 45/50%.
Thanks in advance
Anyone knows anything?

Hi, i bought a new original battery for my Xiaomi mi4 because the previously inflated. I changed it like 2 weeks ago and now, with initialitation (charge and discharge for like 3, 4 times with phone off too for the first time) the battery has a problem. Maybe is not the battery, maybe is android, but the problem is: Arrived to like 20% the phone shutdown probably because the battery is completely discharged. When i plug the charge cable, at first the red led flash; after like 2 min mi logo appear and battery percentage too. The problem is the battery isn't at 0% but like at 20/24% and i dont know why. The problem is android? the battery? or like the battery charge? Pls help me and sorry for my bad english.

Mostly the battery. Where did you buy the original battery from?
FYI, My Mi4 depletes noramally from 100% till it hits 25% but after that it lasts for about 30 mins of light usage before switching off. But my battery is older than a year so that's why.
On aliexpres...... And everyzhing ok.
I went to know where did you buy the original battery from?
